A simple duel

Ok, now I would like to embarrassingly defeat someone, this gives both the winner and loser something. First of all, I get good reputation and experience. The flipside of this is, any character who gets beat will be able to make one Beskar submission, for a piece of armor/ weapon. Anyone interested? Its a good deal in my opinion....

Beskar (( Objective: Perform a mining operation, a raid, an excavation, or steal to obtain Mandalorian Iron Ore from any of the following planets: Mandalore, Concordia –OR— inflict a devastating defeat on a Mandalorian character and have them verify it. Characters belonging to the Major Faction whose influence covers Mandalore and/or Concordia are exempt from fulfilling this objective. ))

Sad to say, but the rule's been altered. You now have to defeat a Mando char and have them testify that you did so. This was found in the Factory Discussion forum. I was not aware that the Tech forum had its own list. I will update it now to display the correct terms.

PS. I'd be more than happy to kick your ass for some Beskar, should Erin choose not to. ;)

Well that destroys my point of this thread, can you atleast tell me why it has been altered ? It seemed fair for both sides, because they got something out of it .

Sorry man, but I will be kicking his ass should we start a thread. ;)

It was changed because of it being reasonable that if a person loses they give somethin up. As a mando, you are already highly trained. So beating you would be hard. Wining and getting the prize of beskar would be the reward for beating one I a culture where killing with and Jedi is the norm.

I guess that makes sense, in my opinion though, nobody wants to lose. Having to role play a lose, shows maturity, and a good ability to role play, which is the whole point of an objective for restricted items. To show that you can role play correctly the restricted item, and to also show that your willing to work hard by swallowing ones pride and take a lose. That's just my two cents, I am not trying to make an argument, but maybe you should think about reconsidering....

But beating a mando, force killers mind you, is supposed to be a very rare event. And there are other things that you can gain from losing. As beskar is hard to get and very durable. Insted of losing, you have to beat them in a devastating defeat.

Well, maybe we could come to a different agreement? To where I win but somehow you gain something ? [member="Erin Darkstar"]
