A search for power

Location: In the hangar of the Doppelgangers Lament Ships location: in the orbit over Coruscant

Sitting on a crate in the hangar Erebos petted the largest of his Tuk'ata while the other two ran around the hangar chasing a small ball Erebos was using telekinesis to play with them a little. He spent time like this while he waited for the drop ships to arrive, one holding his apprentice and another which he was giving personal guidance away from the academy of glee Anslem. Part of him wondered if he should teach both of them something interesting or simply allow them to grow and mature on their own for this trip.
His largest Tuk'ata looked out towards the ray shielded entrance that lead to space, it seemed the drop ships were arriving. "Hmm seems we will be able to get under way in a few moments." Pressing the portion of his mask that was around his ear. "Captain please make sure we can go to hyperspace immediately after our guests have arrived." The com was silent for a small moment. "Where are we headed my lord?" Captain Pelarius then asked. "Rakata prime." Erebos replied and then cut off the comlink.

Nomkneer was standing beside [member="Darth Erebos"] as he gave the orders, silent just waiting for the moment that we land to Rakata Prime. He watched as the two Tuka'ta would run around and hunt for the ball as if it was a living prey using its teeth and speed to try and catch up while the telekinesis of Erebos would be quick enough to make it escape before they would clinch.

"Master, could you explain a little about what were looking for?"

He said after his master finished speaking with the captain and it was his turn to speak. The kaleesh may be the ruler of Atrisia but the respect of his elders and even more importantly his master would be his most remarkable trait. As he gazed the Tuka'ta, it reminded him of his late one Vehiva which was killed. Memories of his old hunts with the beast gave sentiment towards it.

Looking towards his apprentice Erebos made the ball move up into the air just out of the Tuk'ata's reach as they tried to jump to catch it but to no avail. "Certainly, we are going to Rakata prime because it was the strong hold of Darth Revan and Darth Malak during the jedi civil war as it is called. Unfortunately for us Darth Bane destroyed Darth Revan's holocron in what I assume was a selfish whim on his part but Darth Malak might have made his own and the most logical place for it to be hidden is the ruined temple on Rakata prime were they hid the device that sucked all ships towards the planet while they kept the star forge in orbit of the systems star."
Erebos explained as he began to reach the last threads of his patience towards [member="Nyra Mazul"] and stood off the crate and let the ball drop as he began to head out of the hangar, gesturing for [member="Nomkneer"] to follow after him. "How are things on Atrisia?" He asked as his worry for his comrade that last he knew was the king of the planet but he hadn't heard from after the invasion of lujo.

Nomkneer stood beside him, he always looked at him with the deepest of respect, the father figure he never could have even though he killed his during his insanity. As he saw [member="Darth Erebos"] stand up and seem serious he still talked in an almost gentle manner towards the kaleesh. He began walking aside him keeping up with his footing not one step in front nor a step back. He was asked a question and he looked towards his master and carefully said these sad words.

There is yet no clue of his whereabouts since after the invasion, Only a message was layed to me. For me to take care of Atrisia..."

He said with some emotion as Mythos was his inspiration for being more powerful each day, his goal. Nomkneer stood for a second and then walked forward to keep up to his pace and continued speaking after a brief second.

"They say that he died in the invasion... I dont know much about it myself. I do not even know how is it possible someone as strong as him could be defeated like that."

He gestured pure hatred towards the person who was of this doing. He gripped his fist and was mentally prepared to become stronger than Mythos and challenge this foe who defeated him and took his powers away.

Erebos stopped and gripped [member="Nomkneer"]'s shoulder as he turned his head to look at him. "If you know who did that tell me. We will both grow stronger if we can find this holocron and with that knowledge and the power we will both wield we will end that jedi scum together. As much of a mentor that Mythos is to you, he has been my rival and friends since we were both Acolytes, heck I taught him force sight." Erebos said, his grip tightened around the Keleesh's shoulder while he spoke, with an almost revenge like tone.
He was proud of his Acolyte, his growth had been accelerated since the first time he'd seen him and seeing the acolyte grow under his tutelage was quite the source of pride with Erebos. After he finished speaking he let Nomkneer's shoulder go and began to walk once more towards the bridge. "Captain Peliarus send a Fury corvette to pick up Acolyte [member="Nyra Mazul"] and have it meet us on Rakata prime." He sent to his captain and a few moments later the slight chime of the activation of the hyperdrive and the resulting jolt as the ship jumped into Hyperspace headed to Rakata Prime.

Nomkneer was walking and felt the disturbance as the very force gleamed in his aura. You could feel his thirst for vengeance, the kaleesh kept looking at him and sought to reply with a name or something but all the clue he had was.

"They say he is the Grand Master of the Silver Jedi"

Nomkneer in his mind had imaginations of his abilities but he was unknown to them. He saw them as he grabbed to the ceiling with his telekinesis, at the moment he had them on a Force choke so Nomkneer let Mythos finish them off with no worry on his mind. He took a step forward and was in front of Erebos.

"Look into my thoughts using the force master, and gaze upon his face as i saw him in the invasion."

He was sure that this would be more of a help than just the words he had spoken, Erebos would see his entire actions throughout the invasion and he would see when Nomkneer looks at Mythos force choking The grand master, his wife and all the other people in the room. The only reason the kaleesh wasn't trapped in this was because he was in the ceiling hung by the telekinesis or if not he could fall to it. Mythos did an enviromental technique which not know friend nor foe.

[member="Darth Erebos"]

With his hand placed on [member="Nomkneer"]'s forehead he dove into his mind to find the incident that he had refereed to. It didn't take long as Nomkneer was thinking of the event and Erebos put that image and burned it into his memory. "Now we both need to become stronger my apprentice, we will end this maggot." Erebos knew what being the grandmaster of a jedi order meant, this man was powerful beyond belief and Erebos wanted a total victory and not leave even a sliver of a doubt that he'd somehow escape his wrath over this.
Moving his hand back he clenched his hand into a fist and with the electricity that built around it he then discharged his irritation and feeling of helplessness into a nearby crate, blackening it and leaving a large hole in it. "What do you want to learn the most of what I can teach you Acolyte Nomkneer this is the perfect time to ask me for more power." He then said in a half mumble as he went over all that he knew and had to master and grow in.

Nomkneer had only one thing in mind, he has absorbed his darkness with the help of his master yet he has not even dared to try to tame its power or use it. The kaleesh didn't know what he was waiting for, maybe the guidance of Darth Erebos... not even he knows. Nomkneer looked toward his master and with a serious face he spoke to him.

"I want to reach potentials that only you can take me to reach. I want to start by controlling this power i got from the force walk. Ever since you helped me absorb it, i haven't even dare use it."

He didn't know what type of ability would come out from the darkness absorbed but he knew that Darth Erebos his master would be the one to help him unlock that potential to its max, specially since they are on a trip which would probably require some battle.

[member="Darth Erebos"]

With that Erebos was a little taken aback as he hadn't a clue on how to unlock that particular ability of [member="Nomkneer"]'s yet but then again he hadn't found anything pertaining to such a thing in the history books he had so he'd have to wing it a little in this case and he thought of trying to base it on something he himself knew after he had managed to draw it out of his apprentice first. "All right come with me." Erebos then said as he lead Nomkneer through his ship into the private, reinforced, training hall in his private section of the ship.
With a gesture for Nomkneer to go into the middle of the room he suddenly let loose and arch of force lighting go by his apprentice. "You must draw the power out of you think on it what it is, dissect it to it's core and then drag it out into the physical world kicking and screaming if you have to." Erebos then said as he began to ready his own power to contain anything Nomkneer would do if he had to but this was the only part he couldn't help him with the manifestation of something that had been so intimate with him was his burden alone. The lightning had only served the purpose to put Nomkneer on alert and make him focus.

Nomkneer inside the room was in front of Erebos hearing out his every word, the kaleesh understood what he meant and then he sat down and started focusing inside. As he focused deep inside his very essence he felt the presence of the trapped darkness from the force walk. As he focused on it, he felt like the power was being grasped. Suddenly he saw something come up around his hand for an instant, it felt like darkness itself or maybe a shadow.

"I am trying really hard, this needs focus and now that i dont get the dreams and headaches i can!."

He focused more and more, eventually the power started showing and shadow was being created from his very body. He didn't know the extent of this new found power but his master Darth Erebos could probably help him understand it more. Darkness was oozing from his body in an attempt to untap. Nomkneer had to learn to control and summon this power to its maximum strenght but he will still need a lot of practice before he could attempt to use it perfectly.

As Erebos saw the shadow begin to ooze from [member="Nomkneer"]'s body, he almost took a step back but remained were he stood as he observed the curious phenomenon. "Focus on the power, my apprentice. Trust in the force to guide you in finding the answer to it's mysteries. Your emotions might be key here." Erebos said simply as he began to circle around Nomkneer to fully observe what was happening to him.

Nomkneer had started to focus, controlling his emotions and trying to control the darkness itself as it manifested from Nomkneers body. Looking at it, he moved his arms and the darkness would spread around as Nomkneer did not control them. Suddenly the kaleesh got a little serious and the motion of the darkness changed to a more stiff look, almost as if it was going to turn solid. Using his mind and body he moved his arms to try and manipulate the movement of the darkness. Learning from every sway and every move he would make will help him learn this ability better.

"This seems a little tricky master, manipulation ehh... I will practice this power with anything that gets in my way during this holocron hunt."

Joining both his palms he focused and the darkness stood to a still as it floated around his body. Opening his eyes he would use his mind to decide where he wanted it to go as if it was part of his own body. The darkness was synchronizing with Nomkneer, it wasn't just an absorbed power anymore. Much practice was needed but the acolyte, student of Erebos will master this and become a strong warrior of the sith.

[member="Darth Erebos"]

Erebos could see that if [member="Nomkneer"] expanded the darkness he could use it as a tool in stealth and it was clear that this was simply the tip of the spear he had discovered for himself. "Continue to practice now while we still have the time to. We will be arriving in orbit over Rakata prime shortly and it would be good practice should we need to use it there but if you don't have the least a simple grasp of this power it might fail you in the moment you need it the most. That is what it means in my opinion to be sith, to have power that will not fail you. Build the foundation of your power strong enough so that what you build atop it will not crumble when you need it the most Nomkneer, with this as the heart of my teachings I hope to make you into the warrior you hope to be." Erebos then said as he sat down on the far side of the training chamber and opened a comlink to the bridge so that when they'd arrive to the planet he would be notified.

Nomkneer kept practicing at these powers trying to control the darkness while it was being summoned. A strange ability which its full potential wasn't even scratched. The kaleesh kept practicing meanwhile Erebos gave him the advice and walked to the comms. Looking at the shadows and using his eyes and mind helped him concentrate it better and control it. He saw as out of his hands darkness was being created and it seemed very overwhelming.

"I think i have seen some of the basics but i need to practice to control it better. I can imagine the diversity master"

He continued to concentrate, learning how to control the darkness, he was preparing to return it back to his body but he didn't know how. As he tried to put it back he imagined it would be somehow like when you return your spirit from force walk. So he concentrated and the darkness would return back to his body slowly as he was still trying to learn to control it meanwhile they were about to reach Rakata prime

As he heard the signal that told him they had come to their destination, Erebos looked towards [member="Nomkneer"] and saw he was retracting the darkness back into his body. "How did you do that my apprentice?" He asked as he approached Nomkneer and inquired into his progress, the more he could understand how Nomkneer had reached the basics of the darkness would invaluably help Erebos in begin able to teach Nomkneer more about the power he had within himself.

Nomkneer had looked towards Erebos and his reaction led him towards confusion and a little pride to have been able to do it. He stood up and as he once more checked his body for any trace of darkness. As he looked at Erebos he remembered watching him create fire and lightning and seeing him allowed Nomkneer to have a clue and what he came up with was will. The will to use it and control it to your will.

"I first watched you controlling several elements, then i remembered my force walk practices in the past and it just came naturally i guess..."

The kaleesh didn't know what to say as his will to obtain power and try to get to a level where he can compete with champions was his main mind set. Nomkneer could only grow at the speed and strength his master would do so and that lucky son of a gun could never have a better master for his Acolyte training than [member="Darth Erebos"] as they communed in a way that they took out the best of each other.

"Will hmm? That is quite the interesting manner of control..." He said out loud and began to walk with [member="Nomkneer"] out of the training hall and to head towards the hangar as the alarm to signal the ship leaving hyperspace came on for a brief moment. If it was controlled by will then all Erebos had to do was to push Nomkneer harder so that his will would become like iron and never falter. "That reminds me when you next have the time after this little excursion I'm going to teach you some alchemy and I was toying with the idea of making our own lightsaber crystals to place in our lightsabers." He then said as they came out into the large hangar were a Fury was being prepped for launch to Rakata prime.
"Remember captain that Acolyte [member="Nyra"] Marzul is to arrive near our location so feed the fury I sent to retrieve her our landing coordinates." He sent to the captain of his ship and then made his way into the Furies main hold and sat down to relax, only a few moments to launch and then simply a matter of minutes until they'd land on the planet.

Nomkneer walked with him and as he did hearing what he said motivated him to the next training that Erebos was preparing. As they walked by Nomkneer remembered that Erebos had asked him about Alchemy before and underneath his mask sudden shame came to him for not answering his master and forgetting.

"Sorry master, i have basic alchemy experience, me and my father used to alchemize daggers and other types of weapons for kaleesh wars. So when you want we can do what you said master."

He said this as he thanked Erebos deep in his own mind for helping him through everything with so much interest and care.

Erebos nodded to [member="Nomkneer"] and placed his hand on his shoulder as he felt the shame his apprentice felt. "Do not worry my apprentice whatever you feel can be channeled towards your enemies if you do not like it. However if you don't then confront them in one way or another you won't grow stronger." He then said as he moved to the side as the ship took off. 'The pilot must be fresh out of the academy or something.' He thought as he felt how fast the take off was, it didn't take long until the ship landed and it landed harder than Erebos was used to. Hearing a half whimpering "My bad." From the cockpit however made Erebos stand and excuses himself a little as he walked into the cock pit and the sound of electricity and screaming could be heard from the cock pit before all those sounds stopped and a soft whimpering replaced it as Erebos returned from the cock pit and adjusted his robes.
"So shall we go?"

Nomkneer was learning new things from Erebos every day. To use his feelings against his enemies seems very logical to a true sith warrior. As Erebos went into the cockpit and lightning flashed and you could see light coming from the hinges of the door. As he came back and went close to Nomkneer, immediately he followed his master out.

"yes master"

He walked by him out of the ship.

"Now.. lets go on to get what we came for, this almost seems like one of my old hunting days."

He gazed around scoping the terrain before Erebos speaks out the next command.
