Oshin Jantu
Kiss of Death
Sun. The star of Estaria. Far in the Outer Rim, this planet saw plenty of traffic from ships within trade lanes in outer space. From majestic barges with Hutt masters to bounty hunters in gunships with targets on their backs, any and every ship had a place amid aerial ports. Domestic, no different, except with a significant presence of nautical docks stretched across the sea between the land.
One such ocean was glittering beneath the expanse. Sunlight danced with waves, graceful as the wings of birds soaring behind luxury liners, escorts or otherwise. It was quite a scene, one observer believed as she breathed in the salty sweet air, even as others walked onward beyond her. She didn’t care.
The denizens of this city, pedestrians and cyclists, moved beside and behind her along the sidewalk. They stayed silent or talked among themselves, whatever the hell they wanted, oblivious to this woman in their midst, and she wanted no different.
Pacing toward a railing, surrounded by beings trailing their way through life, Oshin Jantu opened her eyes to the ocean and took in the view. The jacket in her outfit was zipped up, with only two sleeves, keeping the Codru-Ji’s other two arms hidden beneath.
The sea’s breeze danced with the black strands of her hair, cool against her face, and she could taste its air as she licked her lips. Hands on the railing, holding onto nothing and everything, neither cold nor hot, the wanderer watched the water unfold and wondered. Alone, if that was so, or with another.
