Tessa wasn't someone who frequented the Jedi Temple. In fact, she was more at home in the gritty underbelly of the galaxy, where the thrill of adventure and the need for speed fueled her existence. But today was different. Today, she found herself standing at the entrance of the majestic Jedi Temple, a place she never thought she'd visit.

Her reason for being here was a Jedi named Braze, a young man she had encountered during an escape from a perilous situation not too long ago. She couldn't forget how helpful he was, helping her break free from that dreadful place. Tessa wanted to find him and express her gratitude, but navigating the grandeur of the temple was proving to be a challenge.

Tessa's adventurous spirit and determination led her through the labyrinthine corridors of the Jedi Temple, and soon she found herself standing outside a door marked with Braze's name. Her heart raced with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. She had come all this way to thank him for his help, and now she was just moments away from meeting him again.

However, when Tessa raised her hand to knock on the door, there was no answer. She waited for a moment, growing impatient, and then decided to take matters into her own hands. With a sly grin, she used a tunnel to unlock the door and pushed the door open and entered Braze's room, as if she owned the place.

Inside, the room was neat and filled with a sense of tranquility that contrasted sharply with Tessa's own restless energy. She glanced around, taking in the Jedi's personal space, her eyes falling on various items that hinted at Braze's life and interests. She sets gifts she had in her hands down on a nightstand and spun about looking around, maybe she would just wait here and surprise him with her presence.

"Hey Braze?"

It was a simple knock on the door before Aliris just opened it up. She had a couple questions for him, actually. Mostly about going out together. She'd been couped up in the Temple for a while now, focusing on her studies. Mostly focusing on being a kid. That was the promise that was made, and the one she wanted to keep track of. When was the last time they went out on something simple and fun, though?

She ended up blinking at the girl who was just casually seated in his room, though.

".. Oh. Uh. Who're you?"

"Hello, I'm Tessa. I'm a friend of Braze's. It's nice to meet you. Are you looking for Braze too?" Tessa replied with a friendly smile.

Without waiting for Aliris to respond, Tessa set the box she was carrying on the nightstand and began to casually wander around the room, her curiosity getting the best of her. She glanced at various items on the shelves, inspected the books on the desk, and even peered at a few framed pictures.

"I was just catching up with Braze, and we were thinking about doing something fun. You know, taking a break from all the Jedi stuff for a little while."

GADividerWhite.png

Oh she was nice. Aliris smiled a bit, nodding her head. "Yeah. I'm Aliris." Nice was good. Aliris could work with nice. Though seeing her haphazardly look around Braze's room without Braze here was kind of.. Weird.

"That's actually why I came by, too. Lothal's having a little party and I was gonna bring him and Loomi along. You wanna come with?"

Tessa put on a friendly smile, feigning niceness as she saw an opportunity to get closer to Braze in a casual setting. Her goals had been to sway him to her side, and her frustration had grown as there hadn't been any real progress. She had encountered countless boys who had fallen for her charms, but Braze had proven to be a tougher nut to crack.

"Oh, Aliris, that sounds like a fantastic idea!" Tessa exclaimed, her voice dripping with false enthusiasm. "I'd love to join the party on Lothal. It's been ages since I've had a chance to unwind and have some fun. Plus, it'll be great to hang out in a more relaxed setting, don't you think?"

She remembered Loomi, that pathetic girl she had told off just yesterday. Tessa wasn't about to let her get any closer to Braze. She regarded Aliris with a critical eye as he plucked up the box she had brought with her. Tessa had heard all about Braze's 'jedi friends' on the trip to coruscant and she was not at all pleased that he seemed to have so manny female friends.

Tessa knew that by accepting Aliris's invitation, she could position herself closer to Braze without raising any suspicions. She was set to use this opportunity to get one step closer to her goal, even if it meant pretending to be nice to someone she saw as competition.

GADividerWhite.png

Aliris just brightened right up, none the wiser to Tessa's hidden ideals or plans. Rather, she was just excited to make another friend. And maybe Loomi could, too. Yeah, that'd be a lot of fun! She was all smiles and excitement now, though she did look around rather curiously. "So.. Where is Braze? Did he go out to get something?" That had to be the reason why. Oh, right. She pulled out a holopad, smiling happily as she wrote a quick message to Loomi Loomi .

:: Come to Braze's room. We're gonna go to a festival on Lothal! ::

She clicked it off before smiling warm again. "When's he coming back?"

Braze Braze

Tessa raised an eyebrow, feigning ignorance. "I dunno," she replied with an air of casual indifference. "He comes and goes, you know how Jedi are, always in and out." She gave Aliris a dismissive wave and added, "Anyway, I've got some errands to run." With that, she turned to leave, casting a cheeky warning over her shoulder, "Oh, and just a friendly piece of advice, sweetheart: Stay away from Braze. He and I are gonna be real special friends."

As Tessa exited the room, she couldn't help but smile to herself. Her plan was starting to take shape, and she was eager to put it into action. She decided to investigate the party idea and nodded at Aliris. "I'm sure, I'll meet you there," she said before disappearing down the hallway.

Shortly after Tessa left, Braze arrived at his room having not passed her in the hallway having come from a different direction, a bit puzzled by the open door. He stepped inside and noticed Aliris there. He greeted her warmly, "Hey, Ali-cat~! How are you?" His confusion was evident as he glanced around his room. "Did I leave the door open? That's strange... I could have swore I locked it before I left."

Braze had a small, damp towel slung over one shoulder, a water bottle hanging from his belt, and a training saber clipped securely to his side. The signs were clear that he had been engaged in some intense training recently. The towel, still moist from his exertions, hinted at the sweat-soaked effort he had put into his exercises. He didn't shoo her away or seem offended that she was here and took a long drink from his water bottle and set the towel in to a basket.

"Huh?"

Aliris blinked. There was a sudden whiplash between what she thought was going to be a new friend, and the warning of staying away from Braze. She didn't expect it in the slightest. Instead she just stared after the girl, all manner of confused. Maybe there was something more to it that she didn't understand? She frowned a little before glancing to the room. Frowned. Only to jump as Braze rounded the corner and spoke up.

The room was locked?

"Tessa was in here so I ended up talking to her a bit." A brief, small bit at that. "I wanted to invite you! Lothal. There's a festival I want to go check out. I invited Loomi and Tessa, and I guess they'll both meet us there. So if you're interested, that'd be fun! Right?"

Braze Braze | Loomi Loomi

Braze's expression shifted from curiosity to concern as Aliris mentioned Tessa being in his room. He furrowed his brow and glanced around the room, feeling a sense of unease settle in the pit of his stomach. Tessa's presence in his room was certainly unexpected, and he couldn't help but wonder why she had been there in the first place.

"That's... concerning,"
Braze admitted, his voice reflecting his unease. He didn't like the idea of someone going through his personal space without permission, especially when it was someone like Tessa, whom he had only met recently and didn't fully trust.

However, his mood brightened considerably when Aliris mentioned the festival on Lothal. The prospect of spending time with Aliris and Loomi was appealing, and he quickly pushed aside his concerns about Tessa.

"Oh, a festival on Lothal sounds like a blast!" Braze exclaimed, a warm smile returning to his face. "I'd love to go with you. It has been a while since we hung out together, hasn't it?" He chuckled lightly, recalling their previous adventures. "And if Loomi could use some cheering up, then this is the perfect opportunity."

His expression grew thoughtful as he mentioned Tessa's behavior. "Yeah, I've noticed that Tessa can be... well, a bit challenging at times," he said diplomatically, not wanting to say anything too negative. "But hey, maybe she'll surprise us and be in a better mood at the festival; But I don't think we should really spend too much time with her considering she made Loomi feel really bad. "

Braze was genuinely excited about the idea of spending time with Aliris and Loomi, and he hoped that the festival would provide a much-needed break from their usual Jedi duties.

GADividerWhite.png

Yeah she was missing something. His uncomfortableness spoke volumes on just what she thought with Tessa. There was something off about her. Hopefully it wouldn't be a problem that she'd invited her along. The last thing she wanted to do was make problems. It was even worse knowing that she'd made Loomi of all people feel bad. Aliris frowned, looking out the door to where Tessa had wandered off. Hugged herself a little.

".. Oh. Well. Yeah. Hopefully it'll be good. If she makes problems for Loomi I'll just tell her to piss off."

That she had no problem doing. Loomi was a friend. "Yeah. Yeah! We can make this fun. We can leave soon as you're ready."

Loomi Loomi | Braze Braze

Braze nodded in agreement with Aliris, his unease about Tessa evident in his outward demeanor.

"Yeah, let's hope she doesn't cause any problems," Braze replied, his tone tinged with concern for Loomi.

Turning his attention back to the upcoming festival, he brightened up a bit. "Sounds like a plan," he said with a smile. "I just need to get cleaned up first. Give me a moment."

Braze headed off to freshen up, making sure to check in with Jasper to let him know about the festival plan and to ensure everything was in order with their duties. Once he had taken care of that, he returned to meet up with Aliris and Loomi. He politely asked Seydan Toth to kindly escort them to Lothal on the Redwind. The man seemed amiable enough to take them and soon they were at their destination.

:: Come to Braze's room. We're gonna go to a festival on Lothal! ::

Loomi was bad at reading still. Not that she couldn't, but sometimes the importance of words was lost in her head. Festival, Lothal, Braze, and some other things. That was enough to get her to get in her starfighter and head off ahead rather than go to Braze's room like the message had stated. Loomi did notice this later, sending a message that she would meet them there in a bit of a panic. Hopefully they wouldn't get too mad.

So there she was, sitting at the spot that they all had met, or at least where Aliris and her had. The medical tent was no longer there, and the small village was in the distance that they had helped before. If they would meet anywhere, it was there. The rock she had sat down on was comfey enough.

All she had to do now was wait.

GADividerWhite.png

"I won't let her." Aliris smiled bright at that. She wouldn't let anyone be mean to Loomi. Or Braze, for that matter. She might not have talked to them much as of late, but they were her precious friends. Her first friends, really. She walked from the room to let Braze get ready, practically bouncing on her heels. Then blinked as a message was sent. A smile formed shortly after. "Hey! Loomi's going to be waiting for us there. So let's get going! Don't wanna make her wait long, yeah?"

Braze Braze | Loomi Loomi

Braze quickly prepared himself for the trip and was eager to spend time with Aliris on the journey to their destination. He decided to wear a more formal and elegant set of clothing for the occasion. His choice was a pair of robes that were primarily black, white, and gold, giving him a somewhat formal appearance.

The robes were predominantly white, which made his already pale complexion appear even lighter. However, this was offset by the rich, dark blacks and warm gold accents present in the attire. The combination of colors created a striking and stylish ensemble, putting forth a commitment to making the outing a special occasion.

"What all have you been up to Aliris? Has the 'butler' been treating you well?"
Braze asked as they disembarked and spotted Loomi on a rock and started that way.

Tessa had managed to secure passage to Lothal aboard a commercial starship. She had a knack for convincing people to help her when she needed it, and this time was no different. With her persuasive charm and a bit of playful flirting, she had won the favor of a ship's captain who agreed to drop her off on Lothal.

Upon arriving on the planet, Tessa wasted no time in making her presence known. She had heard about the festival from Aliris and saw it as the perfect opportunity to get closer to Braze in a more casual setting. Her goals had always been clear: she wanted to lure Braze away from the Jedi lifestyle and have him by her side.

Tessa blended into the festival crowd, wearing a vibrant and eye-catching outfit that made her stand out in the lively atmosphere. She watched for any sign of Braze, eager to make her move and ensure that he couldn't resist her charm. She had a few tricks up her sleeve, and she was determined to make this evening one that neither Braze nor anyone else would forget.

Loomi could feel her friends approaching, though her growing connection with Braze certainly made when they were going to arrive much more clear. The girl sprung up from her seat, running over to the two other padawans with a warm smile on her face.

"Hey," she greeted, pulling both in for a hug. "I've missed you guys."

It felt like forever since they had gone out as a group. She missed having that time with them, especially with so many things around her changing. It made her feel all warm inside, and Loomi couldn't help but bob her head with excitement at the prospect of going out and having some fun. Her eye drifted to Braze, taking note of his outfit. A tinge of embarrassment came to the Godoan's face as she reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Was this supposed to be a fancy thing?" the teen asked. "I-I didn't bring my dress."

GADividerWhite.png

"Very well, actually. It's been nice to just have.. Things." Clothing, toys, a room that was her own. They all made her so happy. Safe, even, as silly as that might have sounded. Not that she'd ever tell Braze or Loomi that. They were the ones fighting still. She wasn't. She was, however, in a pretty simple looking sundress. Smiled as she waved to Loomi, returned the hug before looking off towards where she knew the Festival was going to be held.

"I think Braze is overdressed. Pretty sure it's just a harvest festival of some kind. No fancy clothing required, just something you can dance in!"

Loomi Loomi | Braze Braze

Braze happily embraced Loomi and Aliris even nuzzling his head agaisnt each of their offing an affectionate friendly gesture. "I've missed you guys too!"

Braze puffed up his chest proudly and gave it a hearty pat with one hand. "Hey, I just wanted to wear something a little nicer than my usual attire. Can't I use this as a convenient excuse?" he asked, flashing a playful smirk. "I didn't think it was too over the top," he added with a chuckle. "Harvest festivals are always a blast. I bet they have some mouthwatering treats made from the local produce."

He shifted his attention to his companions, a glimmer of excitement in his jade-green eyes. "I don't know about you two, but I've been thoroughly enjoying the sights of all the places we've been visiting lately. I've been putting in the effort to sharpen my skills, so you both don't have to worry about doing all the heavy lifting in a fight. What all have you two been up to ?"

"I've been putting in the effort to sharpen my skills, so you both don't have to worry about doing all the heavy lifting in a fight. What all have you two been up to ?"

"I've been training too," Loomi pouted. She didn't like Braze framing it like that. "Just to protect people... non-lethally."

Maybe that was counterproductive, but she had comitted herself to not killing, as well as helping those affected by conflict. That seemed far more palletable for her.

"Sorry," she quickly apologized. "I know you didn't mean anything by that. I've... also been reading a lot, a-and I've been getting better at it too. Big words are still kinda hard, but I can get through big ones without pictures in about a week now."

It was progress. She was trying to remain positive, look at the little things. In truth, Loomi had a lot more on her mind, all ironically about Braze. They were developing some kind of advanced connection, one which Valery Noble Valery Noble had taken note of when she had gone in search of council on what she was to do about recieving his dreams. She felt a lot of things about that, and Braze in general, but she wasn't at all ready to speak about such a thing yet.

She just needed to find the words.

"Sh-should we go?" the Godoan finally asked.

GADividerWhite.png

"I.. Have not been training."

That was all Aliris was going to say on that. She'd spent her early childhood having to fight and train, and she was still very much a child herself. She didn't want to keep fighting. She refused to keep fighting, even. Maybe one day she'd get back into it, but she didn't even want to think about those days. She wasn't a soldier.

She forced those thoughts aside, instead looking to her two friends with a smile before motioning for them to hurry and follow along. She didn't want to stay here thinking for any longer. "Yeah, let's go! We should get moving."

Loomi Loomi | Braze Braze

"Wow, really? Loomi, that's wonderful news. Congratulations," Braze praised Loomi with genuine enthusiasm. He offered her a warm smile, genuinely pleased by her achievements. "See, you're doing so great."
Aliris didn't want to linger on the topic of training, so he decided to shift the conversation towards the upcoming festival. "You know, maybe one day we can all get together and make some really good food for a picnic," he suggested, his tone light and inviting. "We don't always have to go to a big party to hang out." He gave a playful smirk. "Plus, I'd love to see what kind of creations you both come up with."

Braze was trying to keep the mood light and cheerful.

As Braze, Aliris, and Loomi wandered through the bustling harvest festival, their senses were filled with a colors, scents, and sounds. The air was thick with the fragrance of freshly baked pastries, roasted meats, and a hint of spices from exotic dishes. Laughter and chatter echoed all around as festivalgoers enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere.

Amidst the lively scene, they stumbled upon a colorful stall that immediately caught Braze's attention. The stall was adorned with vibrant fabrics and decorations, and a large sign read "The Enchanted Garden."

Braze gestured excitedly toward the stall and said, "Hey, look over there! That's 'The Enchanted Garden' stall. They have all sorts of unique plants and flowers. It's like a little oasis right here in the festival."

As they approached, they could see an array of potted plants, exotic flowers, and even a few small trees on display. The stall was run by a friendly elderly woman who wore a flowery apron and a wide smile.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Braze remarked, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "They say some of these plants have special properties. Maybe we could pick one for the garden ?"
