Darth X'aviera
Just as Revna said she would, she sent a request to meet with the Empress, indicating that she wished to see and speak with the Dread Mother, and discuss some matters - though what she wished to talk about was not mentioned in her request. Given the secretive nature of what Revna was wanting to build within the Empire with Srina’s approval, she didn’t really want it exposed through a papertrail. The little Darth knew that the Empress was busy, so she waited patiently for news that her request had been seen.
Some time passed between her request and when she actually received a response in turn. She had kept busy during that time period - another war fought, duties to attend to on Korriban, forming deeper connections with others within the Sith Covenant.
Learning how to be a mother.
Back on Korriban, somewhere within the Palace of Vardin, a little girl was being doted on by palace staff, and beginning her early education. It had taken some work, but she had begun to warm up to Revna. She was still a shy little thing, wary of strangers and more content to simply watch and listen than talk and play. Revna felt something new now that she had a younger child to look after: worry.
But she pushed all that aside for the time being to focus on her upcoming appointment with the Empress.
Darth X’aviera was not one to be late, or one to keep her Dread Mother waiting. Once the request for appearance had been approved, she was on her way to Jutrand and the Imperial Palace. She’d been to the location a handful of times in the past, often to simply drink tea and talk about this or that with Srina. This visit was different, however. It was the first time Revna was visiting Srina for business, and not a social call.
The Palace was as Revna remembered it - glorious, empowered by the Dark Side, and massive. She was met by the Imperial Guards, and escorted through the grand complex towards the designated location where she assumed she would meet Srina.
Nervousness squeezed at her insides - not anxiousness because she was going to be face to face with the ruler of the Sith Empire, but because of what she wanted to talk to Srina about. She was nervous about tripping over her words or not explaining her idea well enough. She was nervous that after everything, the Empress would say no, and that would be that.
But Srina could just as easily say yes to Revna’s idea - and then the real work would begin.
The raven haired Vahla inhaled a deep breath to settle her nerves, and carried on until she was brought to the location where she was to meet Srina. Her presence was announced formally, and then she was bid to wait for the summons to approach.
