Kay stood a bit nervously at the Minister of Intelligence's office door. It was odd to feel a bit intimidated by a door, but she figured that she wasn't the first. So many thoughts were rolling around in her head as she tried to figure out what to say and how to say it. Or more importantly, how to describe her actions so that she didn't incriminate herself. The last thing that she needed was to be arrested or at worse, executed. But this was of course her thoughts being controlled by the fear of something that hadn't even happened yet and might not even happen at all. So worrying about it was unnecessary.
Forcing out her anxiety with a breath, Kay knocked on the door and awaited permission to enter.
