A private getaway that's not so private

Daniel remembered the day he'd finished his home. The inside was warm and cozy, a stark contrast to the chilly outer world of Ilum. It wasn't too large of a dwelling; only big enough to suit his needs. A small bedroom, living quarters, complete with a fireplace, and a room for storage. Now, that room was possibly the most odd of the three, as it was dug into the ground a few yards, and was almost as large in area as the house itself. It was completely covered in frost, so it gave off the image of a giant freezer. However, right at that moment, Daniel sat in his chair in front of the fire, soaking in its warm breath. It was perfect there; quiet and away from everything. He knew he couldn't stay there forever, but at least it was nice to have a place to return to whenever he wished. Reclining into the back of his chair, he sighed gently, then quickly got up and walked outside. Something was here... He'd felt it weakly through the force, but it was there, nonetheless. Grabbing his sword, he locked his house up and went to investigate.

Supposedly under all that ice there was rare treasure. Following a hand dran map she had snatched from Kathlan station Vassara had come here to try and dig it up. Unfortunately cutting through the icy surface was proving to be quite the quandary and each moment she was getting more frustrated. She gritted her teeth, letting lose a torrent of venom.

"Kark it, this damn planet is so stupid. Who buries this frakin treasure on an ice planet!"

"You're freaking out Vassara." Silas said.

She stood up throwing the shovel so hard it spun end over end and stuck into a nearby ice bank.

She as enraged, and the fury was stirring things up in her she'd desire not to address.

"You're right I am karking mad!"

"So take a break will ya?"

Vassara let herself fall back, sitting on the ground and leaned on her arms stretched behind her. It was true, time for a break. Over the past few weeks it had been go, go, go and she supposed it was time for a little relaxation. She decided it was time for a quick session of study and drew out the Datacron that Karen Roberts had given her, letting it fall into her lap.

As Daniel began walking toward the small cliff that his house overlooked, he began to hear voices, or to be more specific, a very loud female voice. Groaning with frustration, he looked over the edge to see two people down below, both dressed as the privateer type. The woman seemed to be rambling on about some treasure, and why it was that someone would bury it on Ilum, of all places. He didn't really see what the problem was. Ilum was a nice place after all, with all of its snow everywhere. He'd rather enjoyed himself. Perhaps he could enjoy himself a little here, before he made his presence known. Sitting down so that his legs swayed over the edge of the cliff, he raised one of his hands at the area where the shovel was lodged. A few seconds later, it began sinking into the ice, and stopped when nothing but the handle was showing. A small smirk played at the edges of Daniel's mouth.
