STRENGTHS
- Grapeshot - The [Enter Name Here] does not fire a single disruptor bolt or single slugthrower round. Instead, it fires either a ripper round, or a "cloud" of loosely contained disruptor energy at the target. Not only does this put more holes in the target, it makes the shot significantly more dificult to avoid - not to extremely challenging to deflect with a lightsaber. - Blow The Man Down - The [Enter Name Here] possesses excessive stopping power for a pistol, both when used to fire physical rounds and as a disruptor. More hunks of lead flying at the target means more kinetic impact delivered to the target, and when used as a disruptor, the wide arc of fire means that more of the body's atoms are exposed to the disruptor energy at once.
- Hard as Nails - All of the metal on this gun is songsteel, meaning that all of the internals are extremely well protected. Sure, the wood may need to be replaced every now and again, but a lightsaber isn't gonna cut through this thing any time soon.
WEAKNESSES
- Slow as Tar - The [Enter Name Here] is not a quick reloading weapon. The ripper rounds must be muzzleloaded using a ramroad, which takes a while but isn't the most arduous thing in the world. The Gas Canister and Power Cell are a different story. To reload those, one needs to disengage the magnetic lock, remove the magazine itself, replace the depleted resources, and re-enage the maglock. This process takes around 30 seconds, assuming you know what you're doing, which is about 28 seconds longer than most reasonably advanced small arms on the Galactic Scene.
- Kick Like A Tauntaun - The [Enter Name Here] cannot be fired both rapidly and with anything approaching accuracy - at least, not with a human arm. The Disruptor's recoil is manageable, but it still karks up your aim pretty badly. The ripper plain hurts to fire, the kick is so hard.
- Up Close an' Personal - The [Enter Name Here] has an effective kill range of about seven meters. This is fine for the close quarters that often go hand in hand with boarding actions, but for any other situation? Erm, not so much.
