A Political Meeting

Mike landed onto Coruscant. He has never been there before, but he enjoyed exploring the Galaxy in his new Sith Infiltrator. Mike got out of the cockpit and went to the Cantina. He really wanted to try out there drinks. Mike went to the bar and ordered Nectarwine. He started to wait on his drink.

Whether it was a good or bad that Zesiro found herself back with the Empire. She wandered the streets of Coruscant and found herself heading to one of the cantinas there.

Here her position as queen wasn't known and she could fit in with the general population. Walking inside, she went up to the bar and ordered herself a drink. Standing near to another of the patrons, she gave him a nod while they both waited for their drinks.

She gave him an odd look because he seemed familiar to her and then her name.

"Zesiro. Have we crossed paths before? You seem familiar to me."

They had indeed encountered each other before but had not actually met.

Their drinks arrived and both of them took a sip of them. There was a reason she had not provided her surname when she gave her name. Some few people might have remembered it from when she married the king of Kesh. It appeared her first name and face were enough for Mike to make the connection.

"What have you heard of me? Nice to meet you, Mike."

[member="Mike V'Trechen"]

"Secret? Hardly. People on Kesh know who I am."

What Mike stated was wrong and Kesh was a known planet. Under the control of its king and queen who lived under the umbrella of the Coalition.

"What do you know of Kesh, anyway?"

Mike drunk another gulp. He really felt light headed, but he ignored it. He started to think about what he knew. He did not know much about the Kesh. He had always flew by and picked up some of their radio chatter, but that is barely anything to go by.

Mike said, "Well, I do not know much. I do pick up your radio chatter in my ship. I like your radio, but I do not pick it up very often. I do not really hang around in that area much. So, what is your take on this Sith Civil War conflict?"

Mike called the bartender over and asked for some more beer. He hoped that he did not scare the queen away. He likes having friends in high places. Mike looked down at his lightsaber. He was happy that it was with him, since he might need it to kill some loud, obnoxious people behind him.

Mike admitted he didn't actually know very much about her world and she nodded. It was nice to hear the honesty from him. He quickly changed the topic though and she shrugged her shoulders.

"It has little to no bearing on my ability to rule Kesh. So I have had no interaction or interest in it. What's going on?

Maybe it was good they had run into each other. He could educate her on what happened in the rest of the galaxy while she was in essentially in seclusion on Kesh.

She had hardly touched her own drink and only now took another sip from it. At one point in her life, she would have been like Mike and just taken the drinks down quickly. Age and ruling had caught up with her and she longer was as young as she once was.

Mike was shocked that [member="Zesiro"] did not know about the war. He figured that she would know, since she is a nobility, rogue padawan, and galatic empire. Mike started to think about what to say.

"I am not sure" said Mike taking a sip. "All I know is that there is a huge sith war going on. I mean no one wants to tell me anything about it. To me, it is very wierd."

Kesh was a rather secluded planet. They usually left the Galaxy alone and nobody bothered them. So with the war going on in another area of the Galaxy, the news had not reached her world. The fall of the Alliance was known though and that had played a small role in her life.

"Oh, I see. You were probing me for further information then I take it. Sorry I can't help you there."

Finishing off her drink, Zesiro waved off the bartender at the offer of another drink.

Mike did not men to probe. He was just trying to be friendly and have a conversation. He wondered about what will they talk about next. He really liked [member="Zesiro"] .

"Well," said Mike. "What do you like doing? I like having adventures and see different planets."

"You already know I am nobility. So I have been pretty well tied up with what goes on around on Kesh."

She didn't quite answer honestly nor did lie exactly. There was no good answer because she had no idea what she liked doing anymore.

"I haven't been out for a good long while so can't provide an answer."

Mike understood. Nobility is a social class typically positioned quickly under eminence in certain social orders that have a formal gentry. Respectability has more conceded benefits and higher economic wellbeing than most different classes in the public arena.

"So," said Mike. "What is your favorite part of being nobility?"

Though she had finished her drink, Zesiro ordered water now instead. She was silent while it was prepared for her and fell into a bit of thought. Turning her head to look at Mike, she took a sip when the water was delivered and set her glass down.

"I think it is my ability to meet others that share my position. You see I grew up on Tatooine and had a poor family. So now I am no peasant and don't want to return to that way of life. What do you do?"

She had just dropped a hint that they might have crossed paths before when she mentioned Tatooine.

Mike knew that if he told [member="Zesiro"] what he did. Zesiro would probably leave him. He decided to make up a lie. He hoped that it will work. He did not want to hurt Zesiro.

"I am a billionare," replied Mike.

Sitting at a random bar and having drinks with another person, the thought or consideration that harm might come to her never crossed her mind. It was far from her nature to do harm to anybody. It was sometimes that lack of common sense that caused greater damage.

"How did you come into your money? I married into mine."

[member="Mike V'Trechen"]

"When my parents died, I was still a pauper. So congratulations on getting money from their deaths. What did they do?"

Somebody might have shown some empathy, but not Zesiro. Something about how Mike was talking and acting clued her in that something wasn't right.
