Clover's smile grew almost impossibly wider. “Your island?” She gave an exaggerated sigh, as though Ayumi had just revealed yet another unfair advantage. “Well, that's hardly sporting.” Her hand remained resting lightly against Ayumi's thigh as she leaned in just a little, curiosity written plainly across her face.

“You keep unveiling another beautiful place the moment I think I've seen the best of Denon.” A quiet laugh escaped her. “Private gardens. Open air. Hidden walkways...” She tilted her head. “You really do have a talent for creating places people don't want to leave.”

At Ayumi's final admission, Clover's eyes softened. “I had noticed,” she said warmly. “Though I don't think you make yourself one of the most appealing women.”

She held Ayumi's gaze for a lingering moment. “I think you simply decided to become the fullest version of yourself... and that turned out to be remarkably difficult to compete with.”

A playful grin returned. “So... I would be exceptionally interested in seeing this island of yours.” She gave the lightest, teasing squeeze before letting her hand relax again. “Especially if I get to spend the afternoon there with the most appealing woman on the island.”

She looked at her and was finishing with a small look. "Oh well, the old vice chancellor does have her fans I suppose. DOn't know how her wife will feel about that." She said it with a grin though as finishing the desserts gave a better moment. SHe looked at her and slid between her fingers a credit chit while being sleek with it and leaving for the ffood and then two for a tip when she was rising up. "We can go there, there is plenty to show off and even more ot be able to do. District nineteen is quite impressive now with multiple islands and multiple cruiser ships that go around. The gardens on all of the islands are appealing and what makes them so expensive for many to buy into."

Clover laughed softly, rising with Ayumi and falling into step beside her without hesitation. “Oh, I wasn't talking about the Vice Chancellor.” She smiled innocently. “I was talking about the woman currently convincing me to spend my entire day following her around Denon.”

Her eyes sparkled with quiet amusement. “Though I do appreciate your confidence in assuming I meant you.” She let that linger for a heartbeat before continuing. “As for the islands…” Clover's smile warmed. “You've learned something about me today.”

She stepped a little closer as they walked, her shoulder brushing lightly against Ayumi's. “You can keep trying to impress me with beautiful places, remarkable engineering, and impossible gardens.” A small pause. “And I'll keep letting you.”

Her gaze drifted toward the view before returning to Ayumi. “But I have a suspicion the island's greatest attraction won't be the gardens.” The corner of her mouth curled upward. “It'll be spending the afternoon there with the most appealing woman on it.”

She gave a small laugh with that when finishing. THe credits on the table while she was rising up and offering the chance. "Well that is the goal and more so." SHe trailed off when she was looking at it and giving a chance to finish before going back down. Her comlink paging for a ride when she was moving with a smile on her face. "It will be wonderful." She said it as the speeder was arriving and there was her driver, with her purple hair but the woman was skilled and impressive in the best way when it came to tuning up her speeders and some fo the vehicles. It let the senator get around as she breathed in and then outwards with a grin on her face.

Clover rose from the table with an easy smile, taking one last glance across the restaurant before her attention settled, as it always seemed to, back on Ayumi. “I believe you,” she said softly. “The wonderful part, I mean.”

A quiet laugh escaped her as they walked together toward the waiting speeder. “Though I should probably stop sounding so enthusiastic.” She glanced sideways at Ayumi, a playful sparkle in her eyes. “At some point you're going to realize you've successfully stolen an entire day from me.”

Stepping alongside the speeder, Clover paused just long enough to admire it—and the driver—with an appreciative nod before returning her focus to the senator. “I have to admit,” she mused, “I've spent the last several hours trying to decide whether your greatest talent is designing beautiful places...”

A beat. “…or convincing beautiful people to spend time in them.” Her smile widened. “So far, I'm still undecided.”

With that, she gestured lightly toward the speeder. “Lead on, Senator.” Her eyes lingered on Ayumi for a moment longer. “I have a feeling your island is going to make it even harder for me to argue with your methods.”

Ayumi gave her a nod as the speeder was there... the island in the distance while the white marble could be seen. With interest she leaned in her seat though. "Well I do have that effect, though if anyone asks I will say it in some ways. Your beauty distracted me for the entire day and my staff got the chance to work and see the burden of function that I normally go through so they can appreciate it." She was saying it though as the speeder arrived at the small port of her island. The smaller and more private place as it went out to the island home where she had multiple rooms and twi'leks, several others could be seen roaming around. Ayumi stepping out as a student came. "Auntie." Ayumi hugged Kilia. "Look at you, this is a friend Clover." The girl looked at the woman and smiled. "Yes friend, I've met a lot of them."

Clover settled easily into the seat beside Ayumi, her smile lingering as the speeder lifted away from the city. At the senator's remark, she blinked. A faint flush colored her cheeks before she let out a bright, helpless giggle. "Oh?"

She leaned across the seat just enough for her shoulder to brush warmly against Ayumi's. "Flattery will get you everywhere, Senator." Her grin only widened before her attention was drawn beyond the canopy.

The island came into view. Clover fell quiet. "...Stars." The word escaped almost as a whisper as white marble, lush gardens, and sparkling water unfolded beneath them. She simply stared, unable to hide her amazement. "You built... this?"

When the speeder settled onto the landing pad, Clover stepped out slowly, turning in place to take in the scenery with an expression of genuine wonder. "It's beautiful."

Her attention shifted as the young woman approached. Clover watched the affectionate greeting with a softened smile before offering Kilia a polite nod. "It's lovely to meet you, Kilia."

She glanced toward Ayumi with a teasing sparkle returning to her eyes. "I can already tell I'm going to have a very difficult time deciding whether this island... or its owner... is the more impressive."

"Well the people I paid a lot of credits to built this. I just said what I would like to see." She said it while walking and there were her biot staff walking around. The central room where everything came around and from being her chambers. Then open air halls that went into living rooms, more bedrooms and there was the twi'leks. A clan she had rescued when they were kidnapped by hutts and many of their clan were killed. Now serving here while Ryloth was usually switching hands or being attacked they were in charge of staff and logistical works on her island. "Lovely though and here is my chambers."
