A Pleasantly Gray Afternoon

Gray took one of the glasses and held it up. He said, " To relaxation and a very beautiful woman sitting here with me?" He smiled at her. He wondered how long they would stay here like this. It was great to sit here and see the view. Everything was just perfect. The only thing missing would have been some music to go along with everything.

She smiled"to this wonderful afternoon and the handsome man who sat it uo"she said and took a drink smiking...this was amazing and she didn't get many moments like this at all

Gray took a drink and then said, " So where is the handsome man at you mentioned? Is he waiting to take you in the bushes after I leave?" He winked at her and then added, " So you must be use to being asked out on dates, so I'm sorry this one is so simple.... Did I just say date?"

Hehehe well this hand man might be dragged into the bush by me"she said smiling as she put her glass down "hahahah no not many dates most I turn down and I like the simple ones" she said and smiled. Getting closer

Gray smiled at her and said, " Well good thing I tricked you so you couldn't turn me down and take the man of your dreams instead." He winked at her. He took a drink from his glass. He said after, " So Star, what has been going on for you lately? How have you been feeling? Have you been healing up well?" He patted her arm as he finished speaking. He was glad he did this right now. It was turning into a rather pleasant afternoon, considering he had set it up.

She smiled and sighed"well I've got scars on my back now doc said they look like someone had wings and just ripped them out"she said and smiled

Gray chuckled and said, " Well if you are worried about scars, then don't even look at me. I got so many on me that I look like someone stitched together a person from a bunch of other people. Guess that is what happens though when you have fought your whole life for a living. The only one though that bugs me is this one across my face." He drank from his glass of wine and then added, " And you don't need to worry about the scars on your back. The only time someone will see them is if they have you bent over a table and are taking you from behind."

She coughed on her wine at the last part...mostly fom almost laughing "hahahah no no your scars make you even more uhh handsome" she said and smiled"and yea your right and ime sure only few will see it heheh

Gray smirked and said, " Like the daughter of the vineyard owner? She has a thing for you you know. I've seen how she looks at you as if she has never seen anything more beautiful in her life." He added after a drink from his glass, " I can't say I don't understand though. That is how I look at you every time I see you after all."

Her hm she is quite pretty and very kind hahha though I think most people look at me and see two things a war machine and a beity"she said sipping her glass"hahah I know same to you I mean I've seen handsome men and beautiful woman more men then women of course however yoo just you know"she said

Gray listened to Star. He frowned a bit as he said, " I don't see you as either of those things. When I see you Star I see a very kind and caring woman who is just as beautiful as she is wonderful. But that is just me Star." He took a drink from his glass of wine and found it was now empty afterwards. He smiled to her and said, " So how do you see me? And be honest. I can take it. I've heard it all from all kinds of people." He began to fill up his glass of wine again.

She sighed"your one if the few who see that then gray"she said as she tried taking a drink and saw it empty..fixing that she filled it up"hmmm in all honestly gray...I see a very caring and friendly man who is just..handsome a jokester and a big flirt"she said smiling

Gray chuckled and said, " Well you got some of the last qualities right. Two out of three ain't bad." He took a drink from his wine and added, " I'm glad that is what you see in me and not what some others do. I can't say those people are wrong though and they have a good reason to feel that way." He put a hand over her hand and began to massage it as he smiled at her. This was turning into a good way for him to relax as well.

She smiled"well in my opinion i got em all"she said with a toothy grin as she sipped her wine as she looked up"many people have different opinions on you the persom"she said feeling his hand and smiled"

Gray kept on massaging her hand as he smiled at her. He said, " So tell me something about yourself Star. We have done plenty together, but I don't think I've heard that much of your story." He squeezed her hand as he took a drink of the wine. He wasn't a big fan of wine usually, but he had grown to enjoy the stuff at Star's place.

She squinted her eyes at his question...her story...boy that was a long story...one with many chapters"well....part of my head and brain is cybernetic ahahahha I've lost all my limbs in all sorts of different combat

Gray chuckled and said, " Well I want to hear about those kinds of things to, but tell me about who Star is as a person. A very beautiful, loving person that she is." He squeezed her hand again before he went back to massaging it. He took a drink from his glass of wine. He was really having a good time so far, and hoped it stayed that way.

She laughed"well..star is....a interesting person..she has had so much happen...a lot only in a course of a single year...some spanning a few years"she said trailing off"the beginning I guess...when I got into the whole thing"she said smiling"see...my parents died on nar shadda and I myself suffered a severe injurie

Gray frowned and said, " What? That is horrible. What happened exactly?" He truly felt that way, and she might have been able to feel that from him. His hand squeezed hers as he got a little upset. He kept on massaging her hand as he waited to hear the rest of her story. He was too familiar with the beginning of her story. Far too familiar.

She seemed distant...course she always was like that when recalling memories "we were on our way to are ship after my parents got out of a business meeting...we were walking and got caught in between two rival gangs...a fight unsued and...a explosion happened" she said.
