DESCRIPTION
Created by Mishel, the order was meant to be shipped awhile back but it wasn’t until she had settled into the Confederacy that the order was completed. A Pirate’s Delight was crafted for the Pirate King himself, Aedan Miles it was given a rapier hilt and built with the Huttese Crystal of Greed or as it’s known on Nal Hutta, the Curse of the Cartel.

The crystal amplifies the user’s want driving them to the point of insanity. Firkraan crystal imparts an electrical charge to the weapon making it particularly devastating to droids. The build includes an Ossus dueling lens that is used to create a highly focused blade that provides a fine-tune control over the weapon. An ion energy cell that allows Aedan to modify the output, in order to deliver a more powerful attack
to both organics and inorganics. A fencing emitter that increases the blade’s usefulness when parrying attacks.

Embedded into the hilt is a cell recognizer that while primitive, works to scan the handprint of the owner. Or, in this case, Aedan Miles. If anyone other Aedan attempts to use or handle the weapon, it will deactivate or not activate. The lock-on activation switch means the lightsaber cannot simply be switched off, instead it must be held down or moved. This means Aedan can drop the blade and it would remain active, however; the deadman’s switch is the override for this. As the deadman’s switch or a pressure grip to maintain the weapon’s activation.

Additionally, the weapon was built with a dataport allowing for information to be downloaded. It also has a small trap built in, specifically for those attempting to activate the weapon. The trap is built to shock those who attempt to do so, with an electrical discharge. The weapon was then placed into a dyed black leather sheath, with ornate designs along the sheath. Set down into a product case and then sent to the Pirate King at an undisclosed location.

Strengths:

 • Greed: Enables a hotter and more intense lightsaber blade, and enables the wielder to feed from 'greedy' energies. Those that Aedan feeds from must be next to him in order for this to work. This is what enables the blade to burn hotter and more intense, this also provide Aedan witha temporary boost to his Force powers. [2 Posts, Max]

 • Electrical: Utilizing the ion energy cell, and Firkrann crystal the electrical output of the blade is above that of the average lightsaber. Some of this energy is channeled back into the trap in the lightsaber's hilt.

Weaknesses:

 • Greed: Crystal may drive the user insane as headaches increase in severity and occur more frequently, lose sleep when unable to obtain that which they desire. Headaches are assumed to be a normal part of the crystal's effect, as is the amplification of the wielder's eccentric behavior. Jealously, paranoia and blinding rage are also associated with the crystal as the longer the wielder is with the weapon the more likely it is they will drive themselves to the brink of madness.

 • Water: Cannot operate underwater, and due to the excess electrical output of the blade contact with water may have fatal results.

 • Battery: Due to the excess electrical output and the overall drain of power the weapon's crystals may have on the energy cells, it is recommended that the wielder install extra power cells and maintain a few spares on their person.

Note: Huttese crystal drawbacks/weaknesses still apply!

Fatal is incomplete. Probably just a spelling mistake, but wanted to point it out for you since the rest of your sub looks clean.

For your weaknesses, you neglected to list the "Blue Moon" Effect from the Huttese Crystal. Stating that separation from the crystal will destroy it.
You also neglected to mention that it can only be used by the person who it is connected with.

I also assume that the replacement of energy cells is for the Ion cell alone, or is this for lightsabers diathium cell as well?

Having worked with Aedan in the past and talked with him about the crystal, he's aware of the drawbacks, however; as a compromise I will note that the Huttese Crystal's drawbacks are still at play here. Energy cell replacement is for both, and I am working to include that on my edit along with the correction to the typo.
