A peaceful life ended.

Lothal

It was a peaceful day at the Kess homestead. Jakkor Kess was attending to his field of various vegetables watering them, and checking up on them. It was just another day for him. He did not venture out much into the galaxy and only a few days ago he and his Wife were offically married. Knowing she mostly deals with the kids,Jakkor attends the fields and goes out on hunting trips to bring back food for the family. Other times he trains by usually going into meditation, practicing his Form V drills. Yes life was very good for him. He no longer dealt with the issues of his PTSD too much, especially when he had his family beside him. These days he would make it into town to sell his crop for extra supplies but it was not now since harvest season was only a couple months away.

After attending to the fields. He checked on the moisture vaporators to see the collected water. After gathering the water and putting them inside he walked lazily to a nice quiet spot in the fields. He sat down on the quiet spot and meditated. This was his most favorite part of the day. He get lost stretching out his feelings, and as he did he became one with nature. In order to deal with his PTSD his wife often made him go into meditation with her to relax. It worked, the meditation over time became therapeutic thanks to the help of his great master. He became one with nature feeling every drop of water, and every little movement. He sighed peacefully to himself. As time past the sense of calm was gone. A darkness slowly replaced it,and Jakkor's eyes snapped open. He hurriedly ran into the house grabbing his two sabers from the bedroom. Whatever it was it couldn't have been good, and it couldn't have been close by.

Zara Lianna

Jedi Knight/Master/ Mother of three
It had only been a few days since Viktoria had gleefully become a Kess. She never thought her life would be the one she didn't want it to be years ago, but it turned out, that now she was the happiest woman. She had three girls to love, a man who cared for her deeply and a farm to feed them. All her and Jakkor had seen though, was hard work. Viktoria being the girls' teacher, master and mother, she knew she already had her hands full. The couple got up at unholy hours in the morning, but they at least let the girls sleep in a little later so they weren't cranky.

At the moment, Viktoria was homeschooling with Natalia, while Lilla and Ana played with each other in the training room Viktoria had made for them. Viktoria knew Jakkor was out working on the farm tending to different things, while she was inside. Vitoria often helped Jakkor with many things, today was just one of those days she needed to help out Natalia.

Viktoria was obviously not with Jakkor at the moment, but there was a tremor through the force that Viktoria felt. One she hadn't in a long time. Darkness.

"Natalia, continue working on those problems, I need to do something real quick."

she told Natalia in a very calm voice, trying to not show her fear of what was happening. All of a sudden, Jakkor burst through the door and ran into the bedroom. Viktoria followed him and stopped him real quick before he left the room.

"Jakkor. I felt it too, what's going on?"

she asked, with a caring, fearful look in her eyes.

I looked out to see the family. My stomach hurt from resting here for a while. I could deal with it as my eyes adjusted to zoom in onto the figures there. The Sandperson was a Jedi. The man of the family who had just married another female Jedi. Names? I knew them. Jakkor and Viktoria Kess. Kruel wanted more people to join our side. Some of them ranged from Jedi converted to our cause, Sith, and even roaming force users. Part of me had a feeling that these people would rather fight me to protect their daughters, than to let me get even close to them. I smiled faintly as I stood up. Allowing my force signature to boom out towards them. No less than a second later, the tusken ran inside.

I will say, I never expected a tusken to be a force user, but it would prove to be rather useful. His skills in a tribal standing would help him as Jedi. Survival instinct would play a big part. Adjusting my eyes, the irises changed to a dull yellow as I watched inside as two being went into a back room from the walls. I couldn't tell what they were grabbing, as it was blurry from this range. Seeing as how I had my real eyes replaced with ones created and crafted from the vong to give me an edge in battle, I changed my vision back to normal with a slight tick of my eye, and reared back my zoom.

Walking foward simply up towards the building, there was no need for me to try and hide. They knew I was coming, and one of them was a Knight. Hopefully this woman proved worthy. Otherwise, it would be a sad day for me to make orphans.

I knew if they walked out they would see me coming closer. My face void of emotion as I stopped a little way away from the rows of vegies and crops. Just waiting. No need to rush this, and I am sure they didn't want the chitlens to know about my being here.

Pressing my thumb against the shroud of the katana, the retention over the sword's blade released. Should I have to draw it, I could easily do so. Yet it was still put up should they want to talk for the moment.

It has been a while since I have fed. Maybe next time I should skip the pleasantries?

He walked the length of the field. His arms were out stretched as he ran his hands through the bountiful grain. The grass weeped at his touch, it shriveled and finally died. Behind him a visible trail of ashy gray plant life lay in his wake. He didn't mean too. He just wanted to feel the touch of the blades one more time, but as happened so often when his need ran unchecked things died. He put his gloves back on and sighed. He sensed a large signature in the force nearby. These were his intended targets, but alas the innocent grain found itself falling prey to his touch. How unfortunate.

Tony held no animosity towards normal people. Men and women who spent their day to day lives at their 9 to 5 jobs. Coming home with an arm full of groceries only for the goods to disappear under the weight of an arm full of children. No he hated not them. He hated force users, the men and women who so grievously made him what he is now. They stripped away the force from him. They took a dull blade and hacked his connection clean in half.

Now, now he felt a ravenous hunger that never seemed to disappear; only grow stronger. He usually managed to keep it in check, but in times like this. When he felt his weakest, he was forced to go out and find a new sentient to sup on. Occasionally their was no force user around for him to absorb, and so he'd be forced to dine on bums, pimps, thugs. People the galaxy would not miss. Still he wept for them everyday. Ever so slowly as he did this he felt his humanity slip away from him. His new power feeding on himself. Absorbing all that made him who he was and more. Soon he would loose the thin thread he held onto. Give in completely to it and consume everything around him.

Just as now, his body fought against him. Fought to feed. He approached the farm house and saw a girl standing under the alcove of a tree. She walked the length towards the house with seemingly malice intent. The Darkside radiated from her being and Tony reached for his lightsaber. He recognized her as being part of The Dominion. She was one of the ones on Artisia. Tony had personally vowed to make them all pay. He simply stood and watched for a moment marveling at the strands of destiny that the force so easily laid out.

What a beautiful day.

Jakkor was scared. Scared, and curious his wife stood in front of the door the concern, and fear on her face was evident. He replied back touching her hands with his own and gave them a gentle squeeze. He didn't want to frighten the love of his life, but he wanted to protect her more even if he was only a padawan. Despite his fear he spoke in a protective and cautious tone.

"My love..It's just that the darkness..the cold..It's here right outside of the home. I can feel it. It knows we are here. I have to go,please stay if i fall your the only protection for our children. I'll be damned if they become orphans like we did,and if i lost you i don't know what i would do."

He removed his wrappings. He had a look of fear that was clearly evident on his face,as he stared into her eyes. He gave her a soft kiss before going past her. He wrapped his tusken mask back on and clutched his hilts tightly. When he walked out he was surprised at what stood before him. It was a girl, but unlike any girl he had felt the source of darkness. She was practically making him petrified but as the Warrior that he was he dared not show it too her. He activated on of lightsabers with a flick of his wrist. The green blade igniting from the hilt, and he raised it defensively at the stranger.

"Who are you,and why have you come to my home dark sider." He asked inquisitively.

Viktoria hated this. Fear was on her mind, but fierce confidence was at heart. She understood everything Jakkor said, but she wouldn't take any of it. She looked to the lightsaber hilts now on Jakkor's belt and she felt as he touched her hands, squeezing them ever so slightly. She wouldn't know what she would do if she lost him. Viktoria sensed much more than just one Sith in the area. There was more. One more by the feel of it. She trusted Jakkor with her's and the girls' lives and she couldn't lose him now. Before letting him through, she gave him a kiss and gave him a stern look.

"I know I am.. but listen to me.. there's another one out there somewhere. Be careful and I swear, do not make me a single mother."

she said, still giving him a look as she took one hand from the door frame and let him through. Viktoria watched him as he put his Tusken wrappings back on his face as she walked to encounter the Sith that stood out there. She watched from the window until she couldn't handle it anymore. If that Sith killed Jakkor, she would be dealing with Viktoria who had three girls. Anyone messing with her would regret it big time. She ran back into the bedroom and landed on her knees, sliding the rest of the way and pulled a drawer open from the bed that revealed her lightsabers. She picked them up, feeling the cold metal in her hands. She then placed them on her belt and closed the drawer before making it back over to the window to see what would happen.

If he was even struck down with a new scar, she'd be out there faster than the Sith would know with a barage of attacks. She would take on both of them if she needed to.
