A new Regime

How kind of [member="Nomkneer"] to share the feast with everyone. That was a very good sign. For a moment Kay wasn't sure if she should go to the dining hall or not. She hesitated slightly while the others just filed past her. It wasn't as though she'd been very hungry as of late, she'd been far too upset. But maybe there would be some tea.

Kay followed the small crowd of special guests into the dining hall, keeping to herself, but giving gentle smiles to those that meet her gaze. She sat herself down at the far end of the table and asked one of the staff for some tea.

There were many people congratulating [member="Arabella Darkhold"] on her new title. Yes, this ceremony and dinner should be for her too.

Bella nodded and watched him go off he was doing his best to do all that would endear him to the people, She headed for the dining hall but hung back to where she was merely an observer. Yes thank you thank yes I will do the title honor, how many times had she said that as she tried to escape the over whelming well wishers. She would rather they paid their attentions to their new ruler

She would let his admirers coddle and pet upon him lavish their good wishes and offerings upon him. She had Izumi, Ren's old handmaiden begin the process on the day that it was clear that [member="Nomkneer"] was [member="Mythos"] replacement. If he was to be the Tenno, he needed...attention, she arranged the attention to be waiting in his rooms later this evening.

She would try to keep him from making the same mistake that Mythos had, in taking up with the female Jedi and not from Atrisia.

No Bella would see to it that if an heir were to be conceived it would be with an Atrisian concubine, one fit to carry an heir to rule Atrisia. Course maybe he was already trying to lay with [member="Lady Kay"] a foreigner, oh no no, she would have to nip that.

She watched the door, waiting to see what his surprise was.

Kay took her tea and thanked the server. She sipped it and looked to [member="Arabella Darkhold"] again as the new General had yet to take a seat. The look on her face clearly showed disapproval. Maybe she was recognized? Maybe she mistakingly thought that she was some sort of competition? Whatever it was, it made her feel uncomfortable. Something that she planned on rectifying once the dinner was through.

She had another sip of her tea and just waited for [member="Nomkneer"] to show up. Once dinner was over, Kay hoped to take her leave. She didn't like intruding and overstaying her welcome, but she was asked to stay, so out of politeness, she did. And with the same courtesy, she felt that it was better that she not stay. Regardless of the situation now, she did what she came to do. Maybe it was for the best that Lord [member="Mythos"] wasn't there. It probably saved her from a lecture.

Kay turned her focus on the door. Any moment now, the new King should arrive and the feast could begin.
