A new partner for a new Body

Iturizu Yuvie

The world of Kamino, battered day and night by storms, and a place full of strange technology and genetic dabbling, on of the most advanced medical facilities and now home to a previously lost Sith, in search of a purpose.

The stormy world of Kamino was a new experience for her, worlds that were primarily water didn't really peak any interest out of the Mirialn so visiting them were never a priority. Though seeing as this was the capital of the new Galactic Empire living here for the tie being was a given, so she might as well get use to it. Despite this her mood was slightly up in the air, as of today she was assigned to be the partner of a more experienced inquisitor. True it may temporary potion until they fully recovered form their wounds but the fact she could learn first hand from an inquisitor or a Sith more knowledgeable then herself was a opportunity that one could not pass up so freely.

The room of destination approached and soon she was standing at the door of man in question, from what rumors circulated among the troopers the inquisitor was also a Mirilian too. For a brief moment she hesitated, the sudden thoughts of how to properly greet him rushed though the initiate inquisitors mind. Giving a quick shake of the head any doubts were removed, the higher ups wouldn't grant this position unless they were certain it would work out. Taking a straight posture and stance she firmly put polity knocked on the door, awaiting their answer, excitement welling up inside her a slightly new feeling to experience.

Bombings, disappearances, and assassinations. All manner of terrorist, rebellious, and traitorous acts were thrown over Krieg's desk for analysis. Though he had access to several open cases he had no orders to act on any of them, the Galactic Empire was merely using him as an analyst. Ever since the man's surgery he had been tasked with mundane assignments, least favorable of them all was Instruction. There was no one who could deny the man had an exceptional grasp on the life of an Inquisitor, yet it seemed that higher command felt it was too soon to release him back on the galaxy in full.

To some extent Krieg understood the worry shown by his superiors. His command over the Force was still fragile, shattered by the damage done to his body, yet he remained ready to do the will of the Empire.

There was a firm knock at the Inquisitor's door that caused him to set down the datapad he had been looking over.

The man reached out with the force, attempting to draw the identity of the person behind his door. His senses were still too dulled, forcing him to abandon the effort as he called out. "What?"

As he called out, he raised his hand, tapping into the nether of the Force once again. This time he was able to push the button on the side of the threshold, pulling the door open into it's host. Krieg glanced down at his hand, finding some satisfaction with his ability to still command the Force in reserved amounts. His optics gave a soft click as they examined the woman who stood outside of his door. By her trappings she was another Inquisitor, and he took notice of her green skin.

"Was brauchst du?" He asked in his native tongue. He stood from his place behind his desk, clasping his hands behind his back as the black eye slots of his helmet fell upon the woman.

The waiting seemed to take forever, she had heard the man yell out a response, though it was sightly muffled by the door, though it seemed to be one of annoyance, hopefully she didn't interpret anything important. A tingle in the force indicated the person on the other side attempting to harness its capabilities, but it was weak. From other rumors and detail obtained about the inquisitor, they had recently come out of surgery, tough not having personal experience physical wound did impede ones used of the force, perhaps her position was also to be a care of sort, for some reason that made the assignment seem less exciting.

Finally the door opened, a man wearing dark black clothing, resembling and officer uniform sat down, obviously having used the force to open the entrance for her. They air around the man was menacing, the marks didn't rally help things either, she gulped slightly awaiting a response form the inquisitor, which was to be one of surprise.

The sound of her native language struck home, it was something she had not heard in a long time, and cause a small amount of joy in her heart. "Mein Name ist es Iturizu Yuvie", "Ich bin dir zugewiesen worden". SHhe gave a slight bow as she introduced herself, before walking into the room, "I did not know you were a Mirilian too".

"My name is Iturizu Yuvie, I have been assigned to you"

"You have to follow your own path."
The Inquisitor curled his hands over his desk, soaking in the mother tongue of Mirial. Even for this man, who had been raised on a nomadic convoy traveling the galaxy, there was a sense of relief in hearing one's true language. The woman introduced herself and gave a respectful bow, yet the only sense of return was when Krieg reached into the Force once again, commanding his door closed behind her.

"You did not know because it was of no importance." He explained, removing the officer's cap that sat on top of his helmet. "Make no mistake, the blood shared by us will do you no good under my command, only your skills are of interest to me. I assumed you brought your file?" He asked, tapping the desk softly as he asked.

"My name is Inquisitor Krieg Merriden, and under my command you will learn the Empire's regulation as if it is life. Am I understood?" He said, his tone as cold as the halls of Kamino.

The way [member="Krieg Merriden"] soaked in the word from her mouth seemed a bit strange, then again the man probably had not heard someone talk in their native language for a while, their were not many Mirilians in the Empire from what she knew. "Of course, I only need to know what is required", he slowly removed his cap before continuing, "yes here it is, she handed over her file, most of it detailing what the empire knew of her early life as well as the exploits on Rishi Aurek.

"Jawohl, Kommandant" She gave a salute while watching him flick through her files, hopefully he would not be disappointed, serving under another Mirilian was something she could only have dreamed of, and such a chance was to good to spoil.

"You have to follow your own path."
A gloved hand received Ithurizu's file, setting the manila envelope on the table before opening it to Krieg's attention. His optics stared down at the file as he briefed himself on the woman's early life as well as her recent missions with the Empire. Nothing of note stood out to the man so he silently closed the folder, his gaze moving to meet the woman's once more. After tucking the file into a drawer in his desk he pushed back from the piece of furniture, standing to his full height.

"Serh gut." He said simply, clasping his arms at the small of his back in a military manner.

The Inquisitor had been given a student already, to be assigned another to his command was both good and bad. It would allow the man to get the work done to secure his next position, but it also meant he would have to devote time to watching over the two.

Krieg move around his desk, passing the young Mirilian as he made his way to the door. He placed one of his metallic fingers over the touch pad to allow the door to flow open. "Come, Inquisitor." He gestured out of the office as he made his ways into the hall of the Inquisitorial headquarters. He continued down the hall, making no attempt to wait or see if the woman was following him. "We will see the extent of your skills." He said.

She was nervous about his reaction, most of her life just involved traveling and odd assignments in the freelancing business, besides the station incident her time as an inquisitor was fairly short, a slight jolt went through her body as Merriden stood to full high, adopting a stance used a lot by the Imperial officer. he milled around for a bit before beckoning her to follow, he was extremely formal and strict, but didn't seem harsh, just militaristic, she liked that.

Quickly after leaving the room she hurried to his side, making sure to stick close as the two walked through the halls, still not to familiar with them," Na sicher". Her skills mainly entailed form 2 light-sabre combat and electronics, both with hacking and other data extraction methods, good for digging up dirt on people. Continuing down the hall way she could only assume they were headed towards the training center for inquisitors.

"Of coruse"

"You have to follow your own path."
Krieg maintained a steady pace as they traveled through the Inquisitorious headquarters.

The soft whirring that erupted from under his helmet never ceasing as it supplied fresh bacta to his lungs. The bacta was soothing to the Inquisitor, and most importantly it was bringing him through a slow healing process that would hopefully return him to some semblance of his former self. Krieg could not wait for the day where he could abandon the mask, the mechanical contraptions that had become a part of him, and serve the Empire as a man, not a droid.

They found themselves staring at the threshold that led into the training wing. Krieg stepped forward, producing a small metallic cylinder from the breast pocket of his trench coat. He inserted the code cylinder, listening to the soft click the lock gave off before the door was opened to the duo. Returning the cylinder to it's proper place he led the way inside of the training center. What had been a large hall now turned into a series of corridor's, each leading to a different destination.

Having traversed the confusing pathways of the Inquisitorious for years Krieg had long since memorized the route to each training field, obstacle course, and testing range. The hallways were dark, far darker than one would expert of a simple training hall, however these halls held much more than what could be seen. "An Inquisitor must always be prepared to engage in battle, and defeat his enemy."

Finally they arrived in a room, seemingly created for sparring matches. The outskirts of the room held all manner of practice and stun weapons for dueling. It even hosted a table with various types of lightsabers, Krieg approached the table, taking something from the edge of it before walking towards the center of the room.

"You will learn to operate in every theater, under every condition. Am I understood?" He said, drawing his arms from the back of his spine.

He showed the woman a small remote in his hands, after tapping a button the remote caused the door to the room to be sealed behind the two. "This is your first test Inquisitor. You must get this remote from me without damaging it. You may use any weapon in this room to do such, however you will be absent one thing."

Another tap of the remote and darkness enveloped the room. Krieg's hands went to a small button on his gauntlets, disabling the functions of his healing apparatus. Total silence over took the room until finally Krieg spoke, his voice seeming to echo around the large chamber. "You have ten minutes."

The two continued in silence in the direction of the training wing, some parts of the complex seemed familiar but most of the hall ways seemed new, it was amazing the Inquisitor was able to remember the direct path to the room in question. They eventually came to a door, and waited patiently for Merriden to open it, the familiar look and sound of the door being opened into a darker tan usual training hall, some might have been put off by such a room but she relished the challenge of fighting in such a location.

"I understand" she looked over the array of weapons, many harmful other for incapacitating the enemy, though not being use to a huge range of tool, Yuvie knew how to handle most swords based weapons, though not blasters. "Jawohl". Looking over the weapons she decided to pick up an electro whips and small riot shield, and turned her attention back to Merriden. Soon the room was dark and dead the echoing walls playing minds on her hearing, a fight of attrition would be out of the question with only 10 minutes.

'Track engage, no point in waiting any longer than necessary', Taking the acquired weapons she started to stalk in the last seen direction of Merriden, she dark clothing merging with the darkness, she wasn't sure how hard the inquisitor would make this test, but she automatically assumed it would be hard. she slowed her feet down as much as possible trying her hardest not to make a sound.
