The planet of Dhartag, AKA Necropolis. The planet Darth Nexion made his home, and where he went for some relaxation from the Diarchy. It was quiet, and a place he can gather more samples for his practise.

Today, however, there would be a change in the air. There his house was, a tomb he had cleared out years ago. He was relaxing outside of it, sipping on a glass of red wine. The ship he arrived in parked outside as well.

But then, his day was ruined. He overheard a ship arriving in the area. He sighed as he rose from his chair and peered out to the sky to spot it.

When he did, he saw that the ship was coming closer. He looked to his side and saw his own ship, realising they may be landing here because he was.

He made sure his lightsabers were clipped to his belt as he was ready to simply remove his incoming problem.

Kallous descended into the planet’s atmosphere. It was a tomb world. Barely any settlements on its surface, barely anyone in those settlements. It was a dead planet, and that made it perfect for his purposes. No one there to bother him.

Or so he thought.

He had identified a large mausoleum. A tomb building that would be useful for his solitary meditations as he tried to make sense of his tumultuous soul.

His ship flew overhead, not even spying the ship already parked amidst the graves and tombs. He would land his ship a distance away from where Darth Nexion had his parked. And he would disembark, making his way to the mausoleum he had spotted before. It would be a good, quiet place for him to sit down and commune with the force for guidance.

He had no clue that someone now approached him with weapons ready. His senses blinded by his roiling emotions, which held all of his attention.

As Nexion approached the now-parked ship, he kept the glass of wine in his hand, sipping it as he walked. As he got closer, he began to sense a presence in the force. His signature smirk began to grow as he believed he may have some entertainment on his holiday.

As he arrived, he noticed only one individual coming from the arrived ship. A young man, younger than his 'buddy' Darth Reign. Arriving at the ship, he took another sip of his wine before addressing the new individual.

"This isn't the place most people would come to of their own free will. Care to explain why you've currently parked yourself on my front garden?"

The sound of someone speaking from behind him made Kallous stop and turn to face the man who spoke. Seeing the tall man with a glass of wine in one hand and a lightsaber in the other. His eyes narrowed in suspicion.

“This looks like no garden I’ve ever seen.” He answered. “It looked no different than the rest of the planet. If this is your home then do excuse the intrusion. I can find some other place to enjoy solitude.”

Kallous made no overt signs of aggression. However he did turn to face him, and he remained ready to draw his own weapon should it prove necessary. He had no interest in a fight at the moment, despite his readiness to meet one.

Nexion tilted his head to the right, his smirk ever present. He eyed the man in front of him, noting his preparedness at drawing his own weapon. Nexion looked at him with his eyebrow raised in amusement.

"A Sith who seeks solitude and wishes to avoid a fight in its entirety is uncommon, I must say. Care to explain where your master is, Apprentice? You don't seem competent enough to not be acting on their orders."

Nexion took another sip of his wine, awaiting the response of the young man. Whatever it may be, he didn't care all that much.

“My Master is dead and rotting.” He answered simply noting the calm confidence of the man in front of him. How he seemed not to care much for the conversation they were having. He was used to such things from the Sith, he seemed to be a Sith himself or something close to it. If that was the case he needed to be prepared to meet his aggression with everything he had. He’d bested his own master but that man was far from the most powerful Sith in the order.

Darth Nexion Darth Nexion

"He must have been a pathetic excuse for a Sith if you beat him. I can tell just by looking at you that you lack the skill and experience inherent to true Sith. If someone of your level killed their master, then they must truly have been a pathetic excuse for a Master."

Nexion looked right into the young man's eyes, his own yellow-red ones seemingly piercing into the young man's very soul. Nexion drank the last of the wine in his glass before tossing it aside, it shattering in the distance.

"Now the, just who are you other then the poorly trained student, of a weak master?"

Kallous felt his blood begin to boil, but he would after a moment of consideration respond. “What does it matter to you?”

He had learned better than to be baited by petty insults. That had been a weakness in his late Master he’d exploited to the man’s demise. And he had come to learn that such flagrant use of them was indicative of a fragile ego. His was a little firmer than that, and he would trust his feelings that told him to be cautious. Ego was exploitable but he would rather not rely on it, not on someone he didn’t know.

"Simple. I wish to know who's body I'll have lying about, and it may give me some ideas as to what I'll make your resurrected corpse do once I bring it to life."

Neither Nexion's smirk, nor his gaze changed upon his words. He was being dead serious with the young man in front of him. He raised his left arm, with small streams of green mist leaving it.

"So, I'll ask once more nicely before I decide to simply slay you where you stand. Maybe I'll char your body, or have my surrounding army tear you to pieces... I'm getting off track. Once again, who are you?"

“Someone who isn’t intimidated by the petty threats of an old hermit.” He answered, slipping the lightsaber from his hilt in preparation for use. But he did not ignite the blade just yet. “I have told you my purpose. And I have no patience for some old coot looking to boost his ego. If you mean violence then cease posturing. If you bluff then all the better. I have better things to be doing with my time than exchanging words with a squatter in a graveyard.”

"Oh, you're quite the talker eh?"

Nexion slipped one of his own lightsabers from his belt.

"I find that good. It means you're confident. However, in your case, your words are overconfident. You have no idea who someone like me is, so you think that I'd fall for the very words I speak to others. Sorry to say, but I'm so not easily swayed."

He then activated his blade, his face illuminating in a red light.

He shrugged. “Then I won’t waste any more words on you.”

His own lightsaber hissed to life in his hand, he wasn’t altogether happy with this turn of events. He’d only just escaped a fight with a Sith Inquisitor that had tracked him down after his brief landing on Veridia. And that fight had done nothing to bring him clarity. If anything it had simply aggravated his confused feelings, making him wrestle with himself even more as the dark side had pushed him to fight her, and that increasingly annoying part told him to let it go and leave. He had somehow managed to want to kill her and want to not kill her at the same time.

Now it would seem a similar issue would arise, only this time he didn’t have a brief chance to parse through his thoughts like he had with the inquisitor. Now it was straight into the thick of it.

Darth Nexion Darth Nexion

"You feel... confused. Have you only just killed?"

Nexion's smirk widened as he assumed a Form VI stance upon seeing the young man's lightsaber activate. He crouched slightly, holding his blade straight against him, ready to either attack or defend.

"You don't seem like the type who has blood on his hands. Not a lot, anyway. How many have you killed? No, that's the wrong question for you... How many have you spared?"

Kallous’s eyes narrowed at the man. He’d suspected that he was dangerous the moment he showed his face. But the ability to see into one’s thoughts was one that immediately put Kallous on guard, more so than he’d already been.

The sudden reminder of his sparing the citizens he had found had caused him to hesitate briefly. But he knew better. He’d been goaded into this before by his Master in their duel. And he wasn’t about to let it be used against him again.

He refocused himself, his green eyes again turning the yellow the sith were known for. And he prepared to engage.

He himself used Form V, Djem So, and prepared to meet this stranger’s aggression with his own.

But true to his previous statement, he wasted no more words on this man in front of him, and Nexion’s question would go unanswered.

Darth Nexion Darth Nexion

Nexion let out a sigh as his question went verbally unanswered. The silence of the young man was all the Sith Lord needed to know the answer. He's spared too many.

"I see... I see now how you got such a pathetic master, you were a pathetic student. The two go hand-in-hand."

With that, Nexion wasted no time and rushed towards his 'opponent'. He slashed his lightsaber across from it's starting position, aiming directly to cut the young man opposing him in half. At the same time, he began to raise a nearby boulder behind his opposition silently.

The man rushed him as he thought he would. And as the motion began Kallous drew his second lightsaber, the one he’d taken from his Master, and thrust the hilt forward while his already prepared weapon met his opponent’s blade in a clash. He ignited the second blade with the intent to skewer his opponent’s midsection and either kill him or do him grievous injury in order to level the playing field. He knew that this man was better than him, but was arrogant. If he could bait him into overextending himself he could defeat this sith that had somehow found him this quickly.

He did not sense the lifting of the boulder just yet. Though how long that would last was uncertain, he had a tendency to notice things while in a fight.

Darth Nexion Darth Nexion

Nexion's confident smirk changed into a grin as he clashed blades with his 'opponent'. As the two sabers collided, he spotted him taking out a second hilt. Noticing the intention, he shifted his body to the right, narrowly avoiding the ignition of the second blade. He countered this by taking out his own second blade and igniting it. He swung it down so that it clash with the young man's second and held it there.

Locking eyes with his opposition, he then brought forth the boulder behind the young man to hit his back. Whether or not it was countered didn't matter, he simply needed to create openings. The more this fight went on, the easier a time the Sith Lord would have at understanding his 'opponent's' fighting style.

His gambit failed. But not spectacularly.

They clashed and they were now in a dual bind, but something in his gut told him to move. And without thinking he did just that, leaping upward and back, just barely clearing the boulder that passed him by. As he twisted in the air he let loose a burst of force energy into the back of the projectile boulder, giving it additional speed and redirecting it at the other man. He doubted it would do much, but it would be able to cover him as he rushed forward again to clash a second time. This time alternating his blades, one to strike and the other to deflect as their exchange began and he made to advance on his opponent, half expecting him to advance on him as well to try getting past his guard. In which case he had his a knee to punish him with.

Darth Nexion Darth Nexion

Nexion followed the young mma's movements as he leaped up and avoided the boulder. As it was then pushed faster towards himself, Nexion sliced his blade down and cut the boulder in half, the halves flying last him.

As he looked up, he spotted his 'opponent' rushing towards him, striking with one blade and holding the other in a defensive position.

Nexion then jumped into the air himself, going right over his 'opponent's' head and landing a dair distance back. As soon as he landed, he threw his left blade at the young man's back.

He had anticipated something like that. The boulder hadn’t been a true attempt to harm the Sith Lord in front of him but rather be threatening enough to force him to deal with it in some way or another, to give Kallous some space with which to counterattack. So ultimately that had been a successful maneuver.

He engaged again, and his opponent did something similar to what he had just done, leaping over his head to get behind him. Kallous swung his offhand weapon over his head in an attempt to cut at the leaping combatant.

And then the saber was thrown.

He never understood why anyone ever tried that. It was such a stupid thing to do. For a number of reasons. Not least of which was what he was about to demonstrate.

He watched the saber close the distance, and he swung both of his sabers to meet it. One to keep his body protected from the heated blade of the thrown weapon. But the other was intended to cut the hilt in half, and destroy the weapon so it could no longer be used. If his opponent didn’t recall his weapon quickly, he would find himself short one lightsaber.
