Darth Morbus Darth Morbus

Solara ducked her head, the smile on her face that caught the attention of others without trying to. "Come ON, Sol. Your trials were crazy good. I heard the Shadows were looking into you for recruitment. How sick would that be?" Kezra, her bestie, slung one of her pink twi'lek arms around Sol's shoulders. After all these years, she still didn't get it. Sol didn't like all that public attention and compliments.

She knew her friend meant well, though. Going through the Jedi Order together had taught her that. Since that first day they'd been little with their parents having dropped them off.

Sol was used to attention and pressure, having a parent as a senator and another as a high-up conglomerate. Didn't mean she craved the ordinary times, though.

Logan, her boyfriend, gave Kezra a look and gently said. "You aced your trials, too, Kez. You could do whatever you want."

Sol's pale eyes flickered to his face. A look of gratitude only he'd catch and know. A strum of thankfulness down their bond in the force. Logan offered her a brief, knowing grin.

Kezra unslung her arm from around Sol's shoulder and wandered ahead on the Balmorra Island. "I'm thinking of checking the Wardens out. Y'know? All that space adventure. Patrolling the borders and stuff." They were a far cry for the more industrial factories of Balmorra and the droids and tech the Galactic Alliance were pumping out. She, Kezra, Logan, and a handful of others from their class were investigating an influx of those Balmorran metal parasites. Not uncommon. Sol figured it was just a little trial mission to give the newly minted knights. Something to wet their feet on before bigger and more dangerous missions came along.

As Logan said when he'd read the brief and Kezra had rolled her eyes - always thirsting for something more, a mission of little consequence.

Sol tipped her face to the sun and paused, eyes closing. Then she cracked one open, after taking a deep breath. "Let's start with the villagers. Get their statement. Things could've changed since the briefing and see where this leads. Yeah?"

"Yeahyeah fine," Kezra smirked and waltzed ahead.
