A Missed Flight

The humans had emerged from the wreck and began wondering over to the array of huts that made up the small tribe. Before they could approached any close, dozens of male Lapanguis dived out from the bushed. They quickly surrounded the three and pointed their sharpened metal spears and swords in their direction. Even though the enemies were outnumbered 5:1, the Lapanguis didn't attack. Instead they stood a few metres away growling and spitting, waiting for their tribe leader.

Pyrrhus jumped a bit in surprise as the group of.. Well, beasts. lunged into the open. He raised his blaster to shoulder level, took aim at one of the things, and waited. "Well sir? What now..." He said, not moving his eyes from the creatures. He flicked his sights up on the rifle, knelt down, and pulled back the bolt on nhis weapon. If they wanted a fight, they'd get one.

The reptile looking beasts made Alask worry for a second until he saw their weapons. "Don't ask me, you're the translator. But keep an eye on where they shove those." he said holding Sarah a little tighter. He could always set her down and draw his weapon but he felt it was unnecessary.

Sarah wasn't being that helpful, but due to her slim figure and bodymass, she wasn't that hard to carry and hold. "Nn.. mm... Daddy...c-come back... " She had softly spoken. She might be having a plesent dream, maybe not. Who knows. All she knows is that she is sleeping, truely unaware of what is going on in the outside world.

Eventhough one man had a blaster drawn, still no Lapanguis attacked or neared them. A parting began to form between the armed soldiers as a larger and more decorate tribe member approached. Unlike the others, he was not armed but he did continue walking beyond the point of the others.

When he was within a meter of the 3 humans, he began to talk the native language of his people. Guis. To the untrained it would be nothing apart from strange unfamiliar noises, to some it could be understood. When he was finished talking he looked towards the intruders waiting for a response.

((Translation: "Why do you wish to disturb our peaceful land?"))

(I watched American Sniper.)

Pyrrhus lowered his blaster a bit, but kept it out. "We do not wish to disturb you, we never intended to interrupt you. We are simply here for research." He said, looking at the one who had stepped closer. They wouldn't understand.. No... Pyrrhus set his rifle on the ground and motioned to the crashed ship, then to Alask and Sarah, and finally to their wounds. He hoped the Lapanguis would understand; the ship had crashed, not landed.

Pyrrhus raised his hands and stood up, leaving his rifle on the ground beside him.

As Pyrrhus communicated with the reptile looking beasts, he kept an eye on Sarah to make sure she wasn't bleeding out or anything. He really couldn't do anything at the moment except let things unfold. Or let Pyrrhus unfold things. Alask noticed the translator putting his weapon on the ground. He was confused but remembered he was trying to talk with the reptiles.

Sarah grunted abit, and openned her eyes. "Nn. . .Wha-. . ." She slowly looked around, blinking at the tribesmen and what the translator is doing. ". . .Where. . .Oh!...well... this is soberating..." She grunted aibt, and groans in pain. "Ugh. . .. why does my head hurt. . ."

When he was analyzing the leader of the reptile group, Sarah moved. That's when he looked at her. "You're awake." he said surprised. "We crashed on Alc and you got pretty messed up. But don't worry, we patched you up."

"Ah. . ." She blinked, still feeling abit numb from the pain and such. "Ca. . .Can yuo still carry me. . .I. . .I don't remember what happened to be honest. . ."

"You're a better fighter rested, right?" he joked instead of saying yes. "If you can, if things go bad, grab my blaster in my holster."

Trying to understand what the now unarmed man was doing, the tribe leader, Tungsten, made a hand gesture for his soldiers to lower their weapons. Immediatley, all the sharpened metal was pointed upwards or dug into the ground. Tungsten the approached the group, now he was withing a meter from them. He inspected the rifle that lay on the ground before stomping it into the dirt, trying to break it. His weight allowed the stock to snap off, but other than that there was little damage.

He then moved to the man carrying the unconscious girl and began to talk again. The two infront of him wouldn't undertsand, hopefully the translator would.

Translation: "What has happened to the girl?"

Alask didn't trust these beasts, especially the leader of the group. He backed up a little not knowing what it just said or what it was planning to do. "Tell it its a minor injury, nothing of its concern." he said to Pyrrhus suspecting it was asking a question about Sarah.

Sarah, now noting of the current situation, just decides to go back to being still. She would then close her eyes, and pretend to be asleep.

"Aye, I'm afraid I cannot speak with the beasts. Only listen." Pyrrhus said, though, he would give it a try. After a moment of fiddling, He brought out a knife and slashed the back of his hand with it, only bearly drawing blood. He pointed to Sarah and back to thee minor injury he had inflicted on himself.

From what the man was gesturing, Tungsten guessed some sort of injury had happened. Eventhough they didn't seem fit to fight, they were still hostile and therefore dangerous. Turning around, he spoke something to his other tribe members. After he had finished, he began to walk back towards the camp as the soldiers moved over to the intruders. The perimeters that was made around them shrunk and shrunk until there was no space between the Lapanguis and the humans.

The tribe members would aim to grab the three people before taking them back to the camp where Tungsten would decide their fate.

"I think I've got a plan. Can you hold Sarah for a moment Pyrrhus?" he asked but wasn't really expecting him to decide given the situation. He would put her in his arms and say, "This is the best I can do." Alask would begin lifting up Pyrrhus and Sarah with the force. A little hard to do when tons of beasts were closing in and making noises but he would manage to get them out of the huddle. They were getting too close to jump out. What he was about to do might cause real bad trouble but capture isn't his thing. Focusing with the force, Alask let out a force push in one direction and some lightning at the same time. It wasn't normal to see a padawan performing that kind of a move most likely but he didn't care. He began running through the narrow gap of reptiles. He would grab his saber off his belt in case they wanted to fight.
