A Meeting (Ush + Fusion)

Ryloss woke up groggily, aware of the woman on his chest and the slightly used feeling he had. A grin spread across his features as he remembered the night before.
"Well, looks like this paid off..."
He looked down at the creature in his arms. She looked beautiful and peaceful in the light. Slowly, he began to pull himself away from her. He had to go make breakfast and make sure the ship was on the right course.
"Sorry, princess..."
He sat up and got out of the bed, reaching down for his pants.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
She yawned shortly after he left, stretching her arms and rolling out of the bed. The feeling of last night still hung over her nude form as she sat up, hurredly getting dressed. Her loyal subject was hers to talk to.

Re-garbed in the armor she wore, she stepped into the cockpit, taking the co-pilot seat next to her new guardian.

We were going to talk about something, remember?

He sipped his caf as he looked out to space.
"Yeah."
He sighed.
"I don't know, Lamia. I'm twenty two, some Zeltrons aren't even fully grown by then. As well as that, are we even genetically compatible?"

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
You're about as old as I am in Sith years. We typically live to ages of over three hundred, more with Sith sorcery. As for genetic compatibility: Sith magic can do wonders for merging two races together. Just ask my ancestors.

She sighed, her mind traversing to the thoughts of how the very first Dark Jedi had intermingled with and corrupted her species' ancient lineage.

"Three-hundred?"
Three hundred. Holy goddam shit.
"Well, I'm unlikely to make it to a hundred. So..."
He closed his eyes and rested his head against the chair.
"You're away from your kind for less than a day and you want to make these choices? Lamia, think about this. In a year, ask me these questions again. But I will not answer them now."
And that, to him, was final.
"You have yet to meet any other race. There are some that you have to encounter before making this decision. The Zabrak, for example. As well as that, you wanted to find Jedi and Sith to train with and against, correct?"

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Ryloss... She clung to him, her arms placed over his shoulders as she leaned on the chair. I've had the opportunity to get to know every single person on board the space station I call home. I KNOW that you are the man I want to spend my life with as a mate, even if it will take a little work to make us fully compatible with one another.

She leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Besides, you love what happened last evening, don't you?

Ryloss sank back even further into the chair.
"One year. Please."
It was all he needed. He didn't react to her kiss, but her words got through.
"Yes, of course. But I still won't marry or mate or whatever it is you want for a year."
He rested his hand on her face.
"Please."

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Can we at least go to the bedroom every once in a while?
If he said no, Lamia would be very saddened. He had made her feel superb.
You're amazing at what you do.

He laughed lightly.
"I mean a year of no long-term commitment, not a year of celibacy."
He pulled her head down to his and kissed her forehead.
"Whenever you need me, just call."

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Good...

She nuzzled his cheek before returning to her quarters. She would definitely be enjoying the pleasures her Zeltron partner would give her...

(I'd say, FIN)
