A Meeting of Small Powers

Yurb
Edsert
Embassy

Above Yurb, her twenty-four Glasser Stations quietly orbited, taking in freighters, passenger vessels, and some Yurbian craft as they came to and from the system. The Storm-Bringer sat near Glasser Alpha, prepared to showoff to some guests that would come soon. Deathseeds and Y-TIEs darted around on patrols, or guiding vessels in that needed assistance. It was the first time in a long time that the Yurbian Republic was even going anything diplomatic, and they hoped they were ready.

Gadron and Leda looked out to the sky, wondering when the first foreign ambassadors in ages would come to the isolated world of Yurb. The pair soon walked back in, seeing Ura waiting there. The Force around Gadron showed his happiness at seeing the young female, and soon spoke up in the Lervon's ghostly, whispering language.

"Well. I wasn't expecting to see you here child." Leda nodded, and looked at he young Lervon.

"Me either. When did you get here?" The padawan chuckled a bit to herself, then looked at the pair.

"Just now actually. I see you two still stay mixed together most of the time." The couple looked down at themselves, their sand like bodies mixed together. Leda just chuckled.

"Yes. We're going to split once our guests from the Fel Empire arrive, though I find is odd that any sort of democratic state would call itself an empire."

"Probably history in part. They are also still lead by a royal. I'm more worried about them going through Glasser Alpha." Ura just shook her head.

"It will be fine, Gadron. Now you better get ready."

The whims of the assembly could send you across the galaxy like a leaf carried on the wind, visiting planets everyone knew about or you could find yourself visiting a planet, a temple or anomaly you had never heard of. It was one of those things that kept life so interesting, well at least in a way, the flip-side of the situation was that you could never truly prepare yourself for what you might find, which was probably why the Jedi taught a policy of preparedness and a general education. At least it was something that Asaraa could fall back on now, being asked to provide an escort for one of the Order's padawans upon their return home to Yurb, one of those planets she'd never heard about before.

Still, as planets went it wasn't too bad, the defences in orbit of the planet had taken her by surprise, significantly more than she'd thought to see on a planet outside of the core worlds, but then that maybe was part of the reason why Yurb hadn't come up before in her search of hte archives. A small smile touched her lips as she let her gaze drop to the reunion as she hooked her fingers through her belt, taking a step back to let them have the moment. She might not be able to understand them, but hte emotion spilling of the three in the force was all she needed to know that it was a happy reunion that was playing out in front of her.

Rocho wore his usual blue uniform, though it was a bit more impressive then that of an officer. He was an Imperial Knight. And while, in the past, Rocho had done almost no politics. He'd had quite a lot of interactions in the matter. And had met and spent time around royalty and during interplanetary matters before, so his presence wasn't totally unusual.

He came in in his usual Freighter, an old thing, but a good enough one for him. He had his Beast deactivated and in hand, as a result it looked a lot more like an unusual cane. Otherwise the only weapon he carried was the scattershot at his side and the ammunition he kept on him. To be fair, he had grown more and more gifted in his force abilities, and even without them or his weapons was a dangerous enough combatant. So he wasn't too concerned. Besides this was a diplomatic mission, combat wasn't expected.

He would call in requesting to dock as one from the Fel Empire and follow directions accordingly. He could sense force wielders ahead again. Such an interesting feeling, one he still wasn't totally over.

Ura was happy to see the pair after so long. She then remembered that she had a guest with her. The Padawan quickly turned to [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] , pointing her out to the seemingly attached pair of Lervon. She then nodded and motioned for Asaraa to approach.

"Minister, Adviser, this is Jedi Knight Asaraa Vaashe. Vaashe, this is the Minister of Yurb, Gadron Borin, and his wife and Adviser, Leda Borin." The pair smiled, both nodding to the Jedi Knight and seeming happy. They walked over, looking like they only had a single pair of legs between them.

"Hello, Jedi. Welcome to Yurb."

"Yes. Welcome. I hope us being so... close isn't an issue." Ura just chuckled a bit, finding it funny to watch her good friends interact with the Jedi. It was definitely a sight to see.

Meanwhile, in orbit, the station commander of Glasser Alpha soon responded to [member="Rocho"] 's request.

"This is Glasser Alpha. You are cleared to land in civilian hanger two, and proceed to civilian hanger five for transport to the surface."

"Response confirmed. Heading into civilian hangar two now." he responded setting course and heading his freighter in. He'd leave his droid here and head on on his own, as he usually did. He was a Trandoshan, so he was already intimidating enough as it was. No need to bring a battle droid with him, he really didn't want to intimidate anyone. Not here at least. He didn't mind it as much in other places. And was rather amused by the existing fear people sometimes had when confronted by a Trandoshan.

He would move swiftly to go accordingly to the civilian hangar five in order to head down to the surface and follow whatever guidance necessary to go to where he was told.

As [member="Rocho"] went to the hanger, he would be checked by some officers, ensuring that he had no anti-Force technology. He may notice that none of these people were Lervon. Once they were finished, he was led to civilian hanger five, where an updated Lambda-class shuttle sat, waiting to leave. Once he was on board, the shuttle took off, and began to make its way to the surface.

An interesting choice, that to prevent anti-force user technology from entering, but not stop every weapon from going in. But it was fine. He didn't carry any on him anyway so it was not really any issue for him. The Scattershot could arguably be an anti lightsaber weapon, but certainly wouldn't stop any force user from using their abilities.

As he made his way to the surface Rocha hummed to himself his clawed finger running along his own arm in passive thought before he took it away to avoid possibly damaging the clothing. Switching to humming again and tapping his fingers against Beast as they went down. Again Rocho would follow necessary instructions in order to arrive where he was needed. He had no reason to agitate, nor be impatient.

It was almost meditative, the quiet, the calmness of the others in the room, it really almost made Asaraa feel like closing her eyes, dropping back into the force, only that really wasn't why they were here now was it? The young Jedi knight took a deep breath, taking a step to the side as she inclined her head to the side, nodding at the minister and his...wife?

"Not at all, it's nice to see two sentients who are obviously so close and wrapped up in one another," she replied with a smile, her eyes flicking back towards the door for a brief moment. Her strength was in the living force, not the unifying force that gave people so many views towards the future...but even she could sense something, someone coming. The girl straightened, one hand dropping to her waist as she took a step backwards from the doorway, "I hope the negotiations go well today." She's heard abotu the Fel Empire, but had never actually met them or a representative...well another representative apart from Jairdain and she had to admit, she was quite looking forward to this.

The pair seemed to get be pretty happy with [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] 's response, at least judging by their eyes and the Force. Leda then spoke up, monotone, but seeming happy.

"Thank you for saying that, Jedi. Many outsiders find us, strange. Even compared to most Lervon." Before anything else could be said, another Lervon opened the door, looking at everyone.

"The Fel representative is almost here. Best get ready Minister."

"Yes. Thank you." The couple then looked to each other before shifting into two separate bodies, and walking out towards the door. Ura, meanwhile, looked at Asaraa.

"So, how are you enjoying Yurb so far?"

The shuttle carrying [member="Rocho"] landed near the embassy, and a Rodian seemed to be waiting for him.

"You must be the Fel Empire's ambassador. Welcome to Yurb. If you'll follow me, I will lead you to the meeting place."

(ooc: I apologize for taking so long I was not anywhere near home and had about zero time)

As Rocho continued he found a Rodian waiting for him, who greeted him as a Fel Empire Ambassador. The Trandoshan nodded his head, "One yes, thank you." he responded before trailing the Rodian. It sure did take some time to get where he needed to be for some reason. Oh well, he'd learned patience, quite a lot actually. After all hunting sometimes meant holding still, and being a soldier had the same problems.

Still, he continued as he would, attentive, and patient, but ready to move things forwards.
