The Admiralty
Officially, Jared Ovmar didn’t have any connections to neither Baktoid, nor Neuro-Saav Corporation. An obscure Count of Serenno managed to assume direct control over Baktoid, and his apprentice Xiangu was his contact person for Neuro-Saav - but to an, admittedly small, company it was known that Ovmar had more than one finger in the proverbial pie.
It came to his attention that the Protectorate had seized assets of Baktoid during the aftermath of the Druckenwell incident, to be more specific: Corellia, Duros and Druckenwell. Ovmar himself wasn’t a prolific or staunch supporter of crashing shipyards into planets, it seemed such a waste of… resources and credits, it would take years - hundreds of ‘em - before the planet was restored to its former glory.
So Baktoid was outlawed, at least it had been until Alli Wren signed over the company to the Count and then stepped back from the entity entirely. With that only one question remained, the question about the fate of the facilities.
Ovmar was here today as an old associate to the Count, he himself was called away to other important endeavours and it was left to the former Sith Lord to negotiate a deal with the Lord Protector that would satisfy all parties.
When his appointment was finally about to start Ovmar was led into the room by one of Cater’s secretaries, he gave him a nod and extended his hand for a shake.
‘Lord Protector Cater, long time since we last spoke. I hope you are well?’
