A meeting between two queens

A message had arrived to star, unlike most it came through her messengers within her palace, those she had hired to help out with recieving different messages and concerns. The message was from the queen of kesh asking if star wish to discuss about trade and various other things.

Stardust joyfully replied herself

it would be a great honor to discuss trade with you, if I may have the honor of having you at my palace on zeltros

With that stardust sent it off and immediately had her servants start cleaning the place up just a little. That and stardust decided to do a bit of reading up on kesh as stardust shamefully knew little of the planet

Zesiro was wanting to spread her wings again and the opportunity presented itself when she reached out to various leaders of planets near to where she currently was. Being a queen herself, she hoped to open a few doors and meet new people. Stardust was the first to respond to her and invited her to visit her on Zeltros.

She arrived when they agreed and hoped this meeting would go well. At one point in her life, she would have taken part in the parties that went on here, but that wasn't her way anymore. Age, marriage and duty had brought a change with her, but she could appreciate what happened here.

Still not fully trained in the Force, she had a difficult time controlling herself as the pheromones hit her senses. Even at the spaceport, people were open about their affections and she focused on the path in front of her. She was not immune to it all though and as she exited the spaceport, her walk had started to take on one she had shed years ago. It felt natural to her, but she wanted to pay attention to her purpose here and not pursue other entertainment.

A speeder was waiting for her and she gratefully climbed in. Taking her to where Stardust was going to meet her, she sat back in the seat and just breathed for a few minutes. Arriving in one piece and unmolested, she got out when the door was opened for her and nodded to the driver in thanks. Turning to look at the woman she was meeting, they were both queens and she nodded her head in respect.

"Thank you for inviting me here. I am Zesiro Charr of Kesh."

Stardust had it all arranged, speeder would pick up the guest and bring them here where star waited with a smile on her face. Taking a deep breath she watched the speeder approach slowly and stop letting her guest of honor out. She approached she bowed low to zesiro

a pleasure to meet you queen charr, welcome to zeltros I do hope the pheromones arent overpowering, if you need some nose filters I can have some brought for you

She said with a smile waiting to see if she needed one before continuing

The bow was unexpected and she almost felt like she needed to return it. So far she had only nodded in respect, treating Stardust as an equal in standing. She was offered nose filters and she nodded.

"It would probably be best if I had something. Thank you, your highness."

If bowing was no longer an option, then properly addressing her would be.

"Please, just call me Zesiro. I never got used to the formalities of titles and such when things are private."

Lifting her eyebrows as she spoke, there was an honesty about her that would show.

She nodded, a servant cane over and gave her thr nose filters as stardust looked to the woman and visibly relaxed...she still was never for the formalities and at the words that such wasnt needed she smiled

well, call me stardust then, seems we both have that in common about formalities, please please leta go and get inside weve a lot to discuss no doubt

With that she turned ans started leading her inaide the palace

Accepting the filters, Zesiro actually felt slightly odd placing them up her nose. Hoping she didn't look like too much of an idiot, she followed Stardust into the palace. Neither one of them might be much for many formalities in private and she was thankful for that small blessing. If things were different in her life, Zesiro might actually have been able to enjoy the darker aspects of this party world. That wasn't her these days and she was not at all regretful of the choices she had made.

Figuring it would be wise to wait until they were someplace more private, she held her questions and followed along next to Stardust down the halls of the palace.

Stardust would smile leading zesiro through the halls off the palace, people moved about discussing different events and things going on both within the galaxy and planet wise. They'd arrive soon to a small room with a table good enough for the two to discuss

here we are, please have a seat, do you need any refreshments? Maybe some wine or food by chance?

She offered while smiling standing beside her chair

Their two worlds were very different, yet there was no mistake this was a palace. The amount of people moving about performing their jobs was sign enough on its own. She looked around as she followed Stardust and took a seat when it was offered. Shaking her head, she was silent for a moment.

"No, I don't think that will be needed just yet. Besides with my nose plugged up, I wouldn't be able to properly taste anything. How does one become immune to the effects the air around here?"

Noticing the twi'lek didn't sit herself, Zesiro assumed it was because she wanted to indicate she was the one in charge here even if that wasn't the case.

She bowed her head, after zesiro sat down stardust sat herself. To her you had to make sure your guest was settled before you sat down yourself, smiling she scooted in as she settled and looked across the table

well, I'll admit my first days here before I was queen it was very difficult but I think my body has grown immune to the pheromones. Now then shall we start this little meeting? I'm eager to hear what you have and eager to tell

Zesiro didn't plan to spend very much on Zeltros so she expected to have to need the nose plugs most of the time. Eating or drinking might prove interesting, but if that happened, she would consider removing them so she could taste the food.

"Agreed. Let's get started. Here are some of the more well known items Kesh is known for."

Handing Stardust a list of things, she waited as it was looked over. Something might be of interest and if needed Zesiro could make sure more was made. The tides of trade wasn't something she was that interested in, but this venture was new territory for her and she was curious where it would go.

Stardust took the datapad and looked it over, she sat back relaxed and nodded her head...yeah this really was her husband's thing. Chuckling she sat up and nodded her head passing her own to zesiro

hahah I'm not gonna lie zesiro. Trade isnt my forte it's my husband's hes been in that business for awhile has his own store and everything...however to my eyes I can say this looks pretty good and I'd be interested in a lot of it

Accepting the offered datapad, she also looked over the more known items Zeltros was known for. Some of the items surprised her, most did not though.

"For a world that is known for its party style, I'm surprised there aren't more underworld items on the list."

She had done some research on this world, but really did not have all the information to be had.

"Even my husband isn't too involved in the day to day business of things. Just not an interest of his, I guess. So I help in ways I can and here I am trying to learn about trade."

Stardust relaxed and carefree nature took a change, she grew serious and sat forward looking zesiro in the eyes

because I've nearly wiped out most of the underworld...slavers, drug dealers dealing put deadly drugs, thugs and all that...I fixed this planet by eliminating the slavery and all the dangerous drugs...so a few will be there eparty drugs of course but that's it

After that she relaxed and chuckled with a smile on her face

same here, I've been trying to actually slow down and get out of everything else

"Ah I see. This isn't an issue we have had to deal with on Kesh. Maybe some small time stuff, but nothing like what you've had to deal with I'm sure."

She hadn't known there was slavery here, but was glad it had been taken care of. Along with everything else Star had been able to accomplish.

"Getting out of everything else and dabbling into opening up trade?"

it's been quiet here as of late, sure small time crime otherwise the planet is flourishing in the years I've been queen

Stardust sat back, she looked down remembering everything shes done and likely would keep doing for awhile...

I'm not your normal queen, I dont sit around often. In fact I take up bounties and mercenary contracts or I help on the front with the silver jedi

"How long have you been queen here? My daughter is eight so I've been queen on Kesh for nine now."

Time seemed to have just flown by for her. Zesiro was in the prime of her life right now and felt wonderful. She was a queen and mother and now looked to spread the world of Kesh beyond its borders and get out into the galaxy. It also worked for her that she was involved with the CIC in the Core and could come and go as she wanted.

Her husband didn't really approve of some choices she made, but nobody's life was perfect.

"I help out with law enforcement when I can. Maybe it's a bit similar, but I don't see myself as being a mercenary at all."

Stardust looked down...been awhile it seemed...chuckling she looked to zesiro with a warm smile on her face

well I never stopped to actually think about that really...13 years of I'm right actually my daughter was born but a year after I was crowned

Years had gone by..now thinking on it stardust hadnt noticed them at all, chuckling to herself to sat back

it's a life that's hard to get out of, but one I've had for most of my life

"We both have daughters. That is so great. If they were closer in age, they might have been good friends. What is her name? My daughter is Hannah."

What was supposed to be a meeting about trade had turned into something more social and Zesiro was having an better time. Stuffy board rooms and meetings were nice, but being able to talk about life, her daughter and life was much more fun. It also seemed Star enjoyed it more as well.

"What life is that?"

brigh, shes off right not with schooling and a little bit of training within the force. Her and my adopted daughter are the pride and Joy's of my life one of themselves off in her father's footsteps hahaha trade ans all

She pondered on that thought, renla was likely quite far from zeltros out there working with some government. A smile formed on her face as she took a deep breath and looked down to the table

life of war, I've known it since I was around 12 or 13....been with me my entire life

"Hannah is also my pride and joy. She's with her father while I came here to speak with you. There are time when he doean't agree with some of the things I've done with my life, but as a mother and queen, we agree on things."

The life of war seemed to strike something within Zesiro. Nodding, it was something she understood.

"I've seen that as well. Not that young though. Been in a few wars as an adult though. Got beat up by some Mandalorian and then almost blown up by the Confederacy. My home is peaceful though and I go there to retreat and have that."
