There were plenty of desert worlds out there in the Galaxy, though Kalyn couldn't quite recall which one it was she'd landed on. No matter, she'd found a village all the same and was currently pawning off a few things she'd salvaged along the way. The workshop ship she'd purchased had certainly come in handy when it came to such things, she could repurpose items at a much faster rate, and break junk down into their core components.
What could be better than that?
Well, not having sand in her boots for one. But no matter.
Currently she was standing at one of the stalls which made up the shaded outdoor market. Fabric was stretched overtop to stave off the burning sun, so for once she wasn't forced to squint. "C'mon, 15UCks is nothin', you always try to rob people blind?"
The Wroonian merchant rolled her eyes. "30 is too rich for these parts. You're not gonna find anyone willing to buy it for that much. 15 or nothing..."
Kalyn groaned in response.

Once He Entered The Village He Searched For Anyone Selling Parts, He Then Notices The Wroonian Selling Plenty Of Tech.

"um, Excuse Me But I'm Interested In Buying Some Of Those Parts..."

"Okay, okay, meet me half way."
Kalyn had never had to hustle quite so hard in order to sell such universally needed parts. Transistors and capacitors, heck she even had some power cells the woman had passed up. Power cells! Surely on a place like this they needed all the basics they could get their hands on.
But nope.
"Twenty."
The blue-skinned Wroonian pinched the bridge of her nose, before finally tossing out twenty UCks. In response, Kalyn set down the goods and tipped her head into a brief nod of thanks. "And you're sure you ain't in need'a these modules..?" The woman's face said it all. "Alright, alright," stepping back, she began to vacate the stall and immediately found the spot filled by a kid with puffy eyes and red cheeks. The telltale signs of someone who'd been crying.
Her stomach grumbled, wanting nothing more than to spent those UCks at the local cantina. Chances of them having her beloved Shili Cheese Dogs were admittedly slim, but there'd be something to eat no doubt. Still, she couldn't help but be intrigued by the kid's plight.
So she lingered, while the merchant dealt with him.
"What are you looking for, kid?" the Wroonian inquired, thoughts of Kalyn long since gone from her mind, "You got the UCks to pay, right?"

Kustas Looked At All The Parts On Sale And Thought About What He Had Lost In The Crash Landing. "Yes..., Now I Just Need An Astromech Socket, An Acellarator And a Lateral Stabilizer"

"Ah," the Wroonian cooed, lifting a hand to rub against the underside of her chin in thought. "You're after ship parts. You'd be better off with ole Vushnek's stall. That squid-head's been salvaging crash sites longer than most've been here."
She gestured toward the east.
"He's just beyond the cantina. Can't miss him, he's the only Quarren crazy enough to set up shop on a waterless world."
For her part, Kalyn was somewhat intrigued herself. There were a few upgrades that might be worth perusing for Hangry... If Vushnek had any of them? Well... If nothing else, maybe he'd buy some of her junk too.
After all, the Wroonian hadn't been very eager to bite.
She began to head in the direction of the cantina, leaving the Wroonian's stall entirely. Maybe the kid would follow, maybe he wouldn't.

Kalyn glanced over her shoulder, discovering that the boy was indeed following after her. He was lucky she was headed in the same direction, she supposed, and not to some random other spot on the world. Still it wasn't the first time she'd willingly helped another, much less someone who was young and in turmoil.
"What happened to you?" she inquired, slowing to lessen the gap between them. "Looks like you've been through the ringer."
Tears, streaks of soot, he smelled like burning fuel. Crashed? The list he'd given had all been ship parts, after all.
Soon enough they were passing by the cantina on their way to the Quarren. "You hungry?" she nodded her head in the direction of the building, "Or are you in a rush to get those parts? Looks like you could use a minute to breathe, kid."

"I Need Those Parts Soon But, Stopping To Eat Would Be Fine," Kustas Says In A Rushed Hoarse voice

The kid was admittedly a little strange, and his quiet unintelligible muttering earned him a side glance or two from the woman. Still, he really was just a kid. She wasn't going to underestimate him, count him out as a threat, but until he gave her cause for concern?
Well, why not extend an olive branch.
"Here, c'mon then. Lunch is on me. Are you injured at all..?"
She pushed open the door to the cantina, and held it for him. Once he crossed inside, she waved over a server and slid into one of the booths closest to the door. Just in case... You never knew with these backwater worlds.
