Thea watched as they approached the base, catching a brief glimpse of her own ship sitting docked outside. The purple-hued skies of Teth had welcomed her well, the sight of the planet's peaks sticking up through the clouds would probably stick with her for some time to come. She sat with hands folded in her lap as Cassius brought the A-wing back into the hangar bay.
“That's pretty likely,” She nodded. Perhaps Leif was there near the Core, he was never very far from the action.
The fighter touched down nimbly, and the canopy slid open. Thea lifted the helmet off her head, and shifted in her seat to fix Cassius in a sidelong glance. A smile appeared on her face, and she gave the hull an affectionate pat.
“You know, I think so.” She answered with a sure nod. “It'd be fun to get out in one of these again, just don't tell the Stargazer that I liked it so much.” Thea reached up and ruffled her hair. “It almost makes me feel bad!” She said with a laugh, trying to push aside the silly feeling of cheating on her ship.
“So, what now?” She asked, tapping lightly on the helmet that now sat in her lap. “I guess this will be home for a spell.” Her eyes widened slightly.
Thea hadn't really had a home since she left Tanaab.
“Well, I mean... if the invitation is open and all.” She added, grinning sheepishly.
