Kai'el Brat "Guardian of the Light"
Braze is at a point in his story where I’m especially looking for deep, intricate plots with gravity and consequence. I’m less interested in one-off encounters for their own sake, and more interested in stories where choices matter, relationships evolve, and the aftermath carries forward.
Right now, some of my main interests for him are building and restoration. He has an interest in dance, restoration work, and in developing meaningful spaces with purpose behind them. I’d love plots around constructing training facilities, specialized chambers, or vault-like trials and teaching spaces, the sort of focused environments meant to challenge growth, discipline, and self-knowledge. I’m also very interested in writing Braze as a teacher and mentor, especially in stories where he is guiding students, passing on what he has learned, and dealing with the complications that come with responsibility.
I’m looking to expand stories on Veridia in particular, especially the sanctuary he is building there, along with longer-term Jedi school or academy ideas for the future. That opens the door to all sorts of possibilities: local tension, political friction, trouble with government or regional authorities, disputes over land, oversight, influence, religion, security, or the presence of Force users establishing something lasting.
I’m also very interested in interpersonal plots and character-driven conflict. Friendships under pressure, strained alliances, mistrust, ideological disagreements, mentorship struggles, emotional complications, and the simple mess of people trying to stay close while carrying very different burdens all appeal to me a great deal. I want stories with weight, not just spectacle.
Beyond that, I would love more engagement with criminal elements, criminal machinery, and the systems that allow exploitation to thrive. Smugglers, spice runners, corrupt officials, syndicates, supply chains, laundering fronts, shell operations, hired intermediaries, and the quieter architecture of organized harm are all areas I’d love to explore. Braze’s attempts to interfere with or dismantle those structures, and the retaliation or fallout that follows, are especially welcome.
I enjoy meaningful plots with lasting consequences, both good and bad. Action, mystery, philosophy, politics, criminal intrigue, spiritual tension, mentorship, and messy interpersonal drama all fit very well here.
