A Jedi, A Medic And A Whole Karking Lot Of Tusken Raiders Walked Into A Bar....

"Blasted Tuskens"

Those simple words escaped DragonsFlame's lips as he sat in the medical bay in Mos Eisley on Tatooine. Tusken Raiders had been causing problems on the city's borders for the last month, and the Jedi had been asked to handle it as a favor. Out of the kindness of his heart despite it not being his problem, the Weaponmaster agreed on their behalf.

He had joined up with a small civilian militia who had formed to be rid of the tuskens and headed out on a speeder. It seemed easy enough, clear them out and go home. Problem solved.

Sadly, they hadn't been counting on the tuskens being smarter then they seemed. As the speeder came by, the trap had been set. The tuskens had somehow gotten their hands on mines of all things, that exploded under the speeder and blown it up almost instantly. Josh and his allies had gone flying, and anyone else in the militia who had survived the explosion were suddenly picked off by an ambush from the Tusken Raiders.

Being too late to save any of them, an injured DragonsFlame, who had taken a throwing spear to the leg, managed to hobble out of sight when he confirmed that his entire militia was dead, he was injured and on his own, and there were at least 20 - 30 tuskens. Even being one of the best in terms of lightsaber skills, Josh knew he wouldn't survive if he didn't flee.

And that he did. Managing to use the force to speed his progress, he had gotten out of sight before limping, bleeding, back to the city where he had gotten aid from a young woman who had found him bleeding out.

After musing everything over for a moment, the Jedi lifted his head to look at the face of the woman who was patching him up. (Sorry if that seems controlling at all, feel free to change it if you like, just seemed like the best way to start us off! I can edit if needed)

Black hair, blue eyes. She was an attractive sort, sure. But any thoughts on her looks were dashed by gratefulness. Most people he met on Tatooine would rather stick a fork in his eye then help treat his wounds.

Volunteering her services was something she had been doing for quite some times, though it was only in places where poverty was a issue, and it wasn't for long periods of time. She had wanted to stay in certain places for too long, her life of travel was constant. She had been working with the locals, treating their injuries, providing food for them; it was something she had a passion for. Besides it gave her plenty of opportunity to hone her talents, or maybe she was seeking redemption for certain things. No one really knew why she had decided to help.

With the sudden organizations of a band of tusken raiders attacking the civilian population, her aid was definitely needed, and put to the test. Handling the attack herself, and providing the necessary aid to the wounded, and sick wasn't an option at this point. She decided helping from behind the scenes was better, at least until some type of aid was sent. Eventually there was talk of a Jedi lending aid to the now small civilian militia. She had some sort of hope, but also a urge to get out of there.

Knowing that the milita accompanied by the Jedi had moved out to handle the current situation she would have never though that tragedy would strike. She was certainly shakened by the site of a wounded man now with her arms, obviously the Jedi she wanted to avoid contact with, and without any sign of the civilians that had left with him. She noticed him lift his head, clearly to see something, most likely her. She and a few others pulled him into a nearby home where she began the healing process.

She began removing the spear, quickly bandaging it up after to stop the bleeding. She cut the rest of his clothes off to do further examinations. He was gonna survive this one. He had only some minor cuts and burns. His only major injury was his leg, she began to use the force to aid in the healing process, after putting a wet towel over his forehead.

Josh breathed as he closed his eyes, clenching his teeth in pain. His wounds hurt, but his heart hurt more. Those civilians had trusted him to help protect them... And he failed.

There wasn't a thing he could have done about it... The firing had began as soon as the explosion had hit. He didn't care that his wounds burned like a molton moon.... He cared only of the lives he had lost in that ambush. And with that, he didn't say a word as he hung his head in shame...

More lives he just couldn't save...

She began bandaging up his body after applying a salve she created to his many cuts, bruises, and burns. His jedi durability was stronger than that of a semi-trained cilivian, that probably played a role in his survival. She had prepared a concoction that would also aid in the healing process, the light blue liquid she laid on the table near him.

She could not only feel, but see the clenching if the muscles in her patient; when he clenched his teeth. "I know your hurting right now, not only physically, but your spirit is crushed as well. There's no way to go back in time and save the lives of the now fallen. Believe me I know." She said calmly to the man while placing her hand on the side of his cheek.

"Now, drink this. This will help you gain your strength back." She said sternly but in a calm, motherly way. She placed her hand behind his head and helped him lift up. She held the potion in her free hand, as she stared at him, she spoke once more. "You need not sit here and be ashamed, you have to get up so you can help these people, now drink" she said placing the potion to his mouth so he could take small sips.
