A Girl, A Duck, And A Casino (Miss Blonde)

Amberlie looked around a little. It was pretty red in here. There were a lot of people playing games and spending credits, too. Maybe the people with weapons should've been threatening to her. Maybe she should've asked permission before climbing up onto one of the large dragon statues to get a nicer view. And maybe she shouldn't have brought the sleeping little duckling that she was currently cradling in one hand.
But there was one thing that people failed to realize: Amberlie didn't care. So, as she lounged atop the massive statue's snout, letting one leg dangle while she blew bubbles with her thumb and index finger, she paid no attention to the onlookers and the guards demanding that she climb down.

When Miss Blonde wasn't occupied with her other life, she was making the rounds at her syndicates properties. One of them of course being the infamous Dragon Palace Casino that had enough history of blood and violence to make Al Capone look like a Nancy. But despite all its bloodshed and criminal past, people flocked to it to spend their money and gamble the night away. It was just nice seeing the routine of everything again, but most importantly it was nice making a healthy chunk of change as well.

Though on occasions you had the crazies come in and want to do stupid stuff from take selfies on the dragons or try and get frisky with the cocktail girls. Thankfully it wasn't the latter this time or else there'd be another grave dug somewhere in the underworld for some scum bag who got a little to handsy. For now it was just some kid who was a bit too young to be here up on one of the dragons- blowing bubbles and holding a duck? Huh, alright then.

The gas masked covered woman looked up at the kid and shooed her guards back to deal with the situation herself. Ah hell, she was no older than her eldest daughter by the looks of her.

"Hey! Hey kid! You want a chair!?" she shouted from down bellow.

Amberlie smiled happily as another bubble flew lazily from her fingers. She shifted a little, her head hanging upside down to look at the masked lady below her.
"Chairs? Nah. I prefer pillows. Did you know that Krayt Dragons don't have wings? Really sad."
The little duck snuggled closer into her. She pet it a little and continued looking down at the lady.

Well it was clear that the girl was off her rocker, which was not a good thing. Sometimes if you didn't know what exactly was going on up there people could get hurt, even killed. So while Miss Blonde was on the safe side of sanity she decides that it was best to go along with the girl and try to just talk to her until she could decide if she was a threat or not.

"I don't think so, if they had wings they'd be even closer to those blazing hot suns. I think they got it right the first time hiding in those caves." Blonde chuckled afterwards when she spoke back to the child.

All she had to do was keep the girl calm and happy, she was clearly a force user by the looks of her and while she wasn't sending anything too dangerous in terms of power levels it was better safe than sorry.

"Hm. Never thought of it that way... How do you feel about galoshes? Is that mask a fashion statement? Blue would look better."
Amberlie crossed her legs. Though the blood was rushing to her head, she seemed entirely unaffected. Her pin-balling thoughts seemed to have no trouble being voiced. As to what her actual agenda was? That was anyone's guess.

Miss Blonde chuckled a bit at the kid's words, she was pretty funny. She liked that. But as funny as someone was, Blonde had not completely ruled out dangerous. So she'd have to keep it up until whatever was going on with her slowed itself to where they could get tangible information of why exactly she was up there and in here.

"I feel like they have their uses, but like this mask its godly unfashionable. It's more of a precaution than anything else. Besides it makes me look a little cool doesn't it?" She said with a chuckle then pause.

"But then again if it was blue I'd have to go from Miss Blonde to Miss Blue. But now that you know mine, what's yours?" she asked with a smile beneath her mask.

Amberlie suddenly seemed to throw herself from the statue's head. She arched her back and angled her legs, making a full flip before landing on her feet in front of Miss Blonde. Her glossy black horns gleamed under the lights as her big blue eyes looked at the woman through the mask. She held out her free hand.
"Amberlie. I like bubbles. This is Quackers."
She held up the little sleeping duckling with her other hand.
