It was far too cold for his liking, in fact Aristodemus inwardly declared to never visit such a planet. Ever. Again. If he could spare the energy to exasperate he would but Arist needed to keep himself bundled tightly as possible. He had very little warmth to spare to allow himself the release of bitterness and annoyance. His legs continued to push through the snow that reached below his knees but thankfully the structure wasn’t far ahead and it spurred him forward.
Ilum had many mine shafts created, through battles and wars these mines were often hot-spots for conflict and sabotage. In Arist’s mind the worst offender was the planet itself, large glaciers that shifted the surface and near constant snow storms. This particular structure was a partially collapsed mining entrance and Arist carefully maneuvered himself inside to escape the biting cold wind. His ears perked up as odd sounds echoed, a possible section of a mine coming under strain and simply waited for Arist to dare an attempt to find an Ilum Crystal.
Perhaps if it hadn’t been for the bitter cold that hardened his resolve to find any crystal, Arist might have translated those sounds as a warning instead of a challenge. Suitable for a lightsaber or not, the allure of simply posing one was too great. With narrowed eyes he began to explore deeper into the mine, not willing to accept defeat against the frozen planet. He did though spare a thought of possibly coming across others on this planet. It wasn't like there was some sort of blockade and who knew what assorted security systems had been left forgotten from previous wars. He began to tread even lighter on his feet.
