Private A Fresh Start on Jakku

"Right. That's the last bag..." Lily huffed as the server brought the tenth luggage case with him to the Jedi Enclave.

He looked over to Lily with a nod of his head and a grateful glint in his eye that he did not have to carry any more bags with him. Lily smirked as she knew it was a lot of hard work and she hadn't really helped with the carrying of her luggage, it felt strange and there was still a bit of nobility and snobbery that Lily would never dare care her own luggage and work up a sweat doing so. Not when there were people that could assist in that matter.

Lily wandered into the Jakku Enclave, it was the beginning of a new direction in her life. Her Master had moved to Jakku and Lily was following her in this regard, as a way to continue her training but also to take steps to step back from the New Jedi Order and find where she was meant to be as a Jedi. Lily had seen once close friends rise to knighthood and they were near strangers to her now, with new directions in life and new relationships as well as achievements that Lily had no idea about. It informed her that she needed to find herself as a person and achieve her own goals in life.

There was so much that she wanted to do and plenty that she could do.

Looking around the entrance of Jakku, the temple was impressive and it was a pleasant, inviting area. Lily was seeking out Briana so she knew what to expect from those at the enclave and what would be expected from Lily as she began her training here now, instead of training on Coruscant. She could feel the nerves in her stomach flutter once again.

Briana wasn't far off as Lily unloaded, watching from a shady alcove where the harsh desert sun wouldn't get the chance to crisp her up.

It was something of a surprise to see her Padawan toting such an extensive array of personal effects with her, watching with a measure of bemusement at the unfolding procession as bag after bag was unloaded, each seeming to herald the end until yet another one appeared.

Given that the rooms certainly weren't designed to accommodate such a grand arsenal of belongings, Lily would either have to reconcile with an existence as a mollusk crammed into its shell, or be prepared to part with some of her hoard.

The proverbial credit chit could land either way, on that toss.

Briana knew from experience that coming from a life of affluence to one of austerity was a jarring transition, especially when making the change to Jakku, where they lived an existence that was even more simplistic than the life Lily had known within the Jedi Temple of Coruscant.

Compared to that life, the Enclave was a hovel. Still, Briana hoped that over time Lily would come to appreciate being able to shed those worldly comforts and come into her own, just as Briana had all those years ago.

Seeing Lily head inside, Briana kicked off the wall and followed suit, coming up from behind the young woman to clasp her shoulder. "You made it!" She pulled Lily in for a brief side hug, knowing she'd probably hate it. "And I see you've come prepared for every eventuality, did you bring the whole temple with you?" She teased, giving Lily a good natured grin before stepping back and giving her a sweeping once over. "Come on, I'll give you the grand tour and show you to your room."

Lily beamed over to her Master as she wandered over, looking back at the items she had, Lily shrugged. "I only brought the essentials. I did send some things back to Eshan because I assumed it would be a little smaller here." How much smaller, Lily was going to face a rude awakening but for now, Lily lived in ignorance and assumed she would have a large luxurious room like she brought on Coruscant. "Did I bring too much? I swore it was only the essentials that I needed on Coruscant that I brought here as well... I messed up already..." Lily groaned, she feared that she was demonstrating her wealth without meaning to again. Lily was constantly in fear that she was going to mess things up or make herself look like a fool.

Looking around the temple, it differed significantly to the Coruscant temple but it was still very distinctly a Jedi temple. "A tour sounds great! Would be helpful to know where the training facilities are and a few other things." It was obvious that Lily was keen to jump straight into training. She was happy to be closer to Briana in hopes of training and ensuring that her skills grew further. Her hands sliding behind her as she stepped towards her Master and waited for Briana to lead the way.

"Is the Jakku Enclave a significant, ancient temple and enclave in a similar vein to Coruscant or Tython?" Lily asked, curious about the history of the enclave and what was the importance of establishing an enclave on a desert world like Jakku. She knew there was some history of galactic importance that Jakku held but Lily didn't know too much. She hadn't seen anything that was Jedi specific when she was reading rough historic records of the Jedi Order.
