A Forgotten Past

Raising his head, Xaryus exhaled slowly and spoke.
"Then we begin." Said the Zabrak warrior taking off his cloak to reveal a bulky physique,
Every muscle sinew moving as he took off his gloves
"The force can only protect you to an extent.." Said Xaryus as he started to walk calmly towards that which
Was to be dubbed 'an experiment' by the Sith. Soon he came to be standing right infront of Korogum.
"So are you ready?" Snarled the Zabrak, a faint smirk was playing on his lips.

Xhinx looked at Korogum, attempting to size him up, sense his abilities. "I will give you that trial. Come forth. This trial, may prove you, or deny you. That is up to you to decide. First, I ask you, meditate with me, meditate on the Dark Side." After asking this, Xhinx stood still standing straight up, in a stationary position. With a dark aura encircling himself. With this Xhinx attempting to sneak inside his mind, to see first hand his prowess, and thought process. Hoping to find anything that can prove Xhinx's 'hunch.'

Korogum looked between the two warriors, unsure of how to proceed between their individual requests. Korogum simply decided to fold his arms and declare to the two of them,

"Perhaps I will make up my mind if you two can decide what it is I should be doing here."

Xaryus looked up a bit angry
"Is it not obvious?! We fight!" Said the warrior refusing to put his robes back on
And crossing his arms similar to that of which Korogum was doing "...I remember a time we killed those who turned down a duel.." Said Xaryus remenesing in an almost depressed tone.

Etheriud watched on silently as the men began going back and forth deciding how the trials would commence. He sighed and looked on with a disappointed look. Etheriud began to run through how this could be handled better, and soon came up with multiple solutions. Etheriud began to think about how the academy should first be cleaned up and the group should train before the trials should commence and pulled his lightsaber off of his belt. Etheriud began to smirk at the thought of how he had so little knowledge on how to use such a powerful and elegant weapon. Etheriud also knew that Xaryus and Korogum more than likely had little training in both the ways of the lightsaber and the ways of the dark side.

“Look, I realize you’re all eager to begin these trials. However, none of us are ready for this. Xaryus, Korogum, and I have no knowledge on the dark side or on lightsaber techniques. I propose, or more so demand, that we first clean this place up a bit more and begin training before the trials can begin. We need to ready ourselves for the hardships that these trials will include. If you don’t agree with me, you’re a fool. Simple as that. For what I speak is the truth. Xaryus, you’re right, duels are truly an ancient and respected tradition that should be kept. Xhinx, you are right too, we will need to delve into the mind of Korogum. However, this should all happen after we have completed our trainings and developed our order.”

Etheriud finished his tirade by activating his lightsaber and holding it by his side, showcasing how he had limited knowledge on how to wield the weapon.

Korogum broke his gaze from the Red-skinned Zabrak, his bitterness melting away as he turned to Etheriud as he stated his thoughts. Korogum looked around as he spoke, realizing his desire to refurbish the building was well based. Realizing that most of the clutter and mess was his own fault, Korogum began to speak.

"I agree with Etheriud, as much as I dislike admitting it, I wouldn't even know how to wield a weapon in battle, let alone use this, Dark side, to help me win a fight with one. What say you, Warrior?" Korogum asked, turning again to the Zabrak.

Xhinx, standing up in complete agreement, revealed his long dark blade looking hilt to the others. Xhinx then began to show everyone the basics of the tool, including the ignition switch, and saber adjusters. "Proper use of the actual tool involves ignition through a switch or button. In order to adjust the length and power of the saber to you liking, you turn these dials accordingly." Xhinx then began to show proper holding form, involving a firm grip, with either one hand, or both, to your preference. " The most vital part of your light saber, is the crystal, most Sith alchemically craft red colored crystals, though the crystals can be in any color or variation. Xhinx began to ignite his own saber, emitting a pure black beam, almost of if the light saber was absorbing light around them.

"There are also seven light saber forms, I have books you all may read, to accustom your current form, or adopt a new one. We may practice them all together. I rarely rely on my light saber, so I am no where near an expert on this field, so I will be learning with you. The following are the forms: Shii-Cho, the Way of the Sarlacc. Makashi, the Way of the Ysalamiri. Soresu, the Way of the Mynock. Atarum the Way of the Hawk-Bat. Shien/Djem So, the Way of the Krayt Dragon. Niman, the Way of the Rancor. Juyo/Vaapad, the Way of the Vornskr."

Xhinx them de-ignited his light saber, and sheathed it, allowed the group to speak.

"That sounds sensible." Said the tattooed warrior. He looked at Etheriud, Korogum and Xhinx then to his actual lightsaber, It was a fairly handsome design, dark steel with silver etchings around the emiter and the base along with several ocult designs carved into the metal. As he looked at this he emitted a sigh, the metal work was beautiful compared to the rough crimson crystal whos refracted light made the actual blade.

Etheriud looked at the group and nodded, Xhinx’s words staying within his head as Etheriud began to memorize the first few names of the lightsaber forms. Etheriud had heard a little of the first form during his brief study of the ways of the Sith in preparation for the trip to Alzoc. Shii-Cho, as Xhinx had called it, seemed the most logical form to start with when the group would begin their training. Etheriud placed his lightsaber back on his belt and faced the other three men, his voice echoing through the halls.

“Alright. Now that we’re all in agreement, we should begin working on the tenets of our order as our first action. Then, regulate our training regimen to work with the doctrine. After this, we’ll release our words to the public, but we should begin recruitment as soon as possible. If we’re all in agreement, we can set out to attend to these matters immediately. Additionally, I think we should also map out this academy and begin assigning rooms and wings for different purposes, and find our own offices. Perhaps use the native Talz to begin constructing new sectors as well.”

Etheriud stood firmly, his arms crossed. He was ready to begin work on this new idea that would hopefully bring the change this group so desired.

Korogum looked around himself, to the others, standing with him in the rubble of the ruined academy building, he wondered just how old the building actually was. Realizing that the architecture and feeling of the building was far too ancient for it to have been made by any cult within recent years, he suddenly felt a new meaning to Etheriud's words arise, now wanting to restore the desecrated halls of the structure. With this realization, Korogum could only wonder who could have created such a place, and for what purpose. Snapping back to reality, Korogum listened to Etheriud further, and upon hearing of the Talz, he offered,

"I have lived here since my birth, I have met quite a few Talz, perhaps I can enlist their services." After he gave his offer, Korogum was distracted by a sensation he began to feel in the back of his head, like he was being watched. Turning around, all that greeted him was the closest side of the hallway. Turning from the others as they continued discussing plans, Korogum walked to the wall, and studied it carefully. He saw that there were inscriptions, but they were covered in a thick dust. Reaching his hand up to brush it away, upon touching the glyphs, abstract images flashed through Korogum's mind, dozens of events and sensations racing through his eyes in an instant. Jolting backwards, Korogum became confused as to what had just transpired. Breathing heavily, he turned back to the others in a frantic manner and questioned them,

"Did any of you just see that? What just happened? I saw red-skinned beings, in robes, bowing before something, a King? No, not a king." Korogum looked down to at the ground, his mind trying to piece together what had just occured. "I saw this place, but, pristine, like it had just been made. There were people in black cloaks everywhere, but they weren't like the cultists. No, they looked like the two of you." He said pointing at Xaryus and Xhinx. "They felt like you two do, ominous and dark, but there was something else. It didn't feel like a person, it wasn't alive. But, I can find it here." Korogum could feel his sanity being tested by the sensations he received from the images. "It's, down that way, a book!" He said, pointing down the hallway and stumbling in the direction. "A book about him, their Leader." He mumbled, more to himself then to the others. Turning a corner, Korogum saw an opening to a room and moved towards it. Upon entering the threshold of the room, Korogum braced himself against the doorway, and upon doing so, received a single intense sensation blasting through his mind. "It's here. It's in here somewhere." He stammered. His mind burning with the intensity of the sensation, Korogum hoped that finding what he was looking for would stop whatever was assaulting his mind. Looking around, he saw he was in a large chamber, with rows of what appeared to be seating arrangements lined up against both walls. In front of him sat a lectern looking fixture, facing away from him.

Stumbling up the small set of stairs to the lectern, Korogum saw what lay on it: a single, black book, with golden trimming. Moving to the book, Korogum feared laying his hand on it, dreading another flash of sensations to further wrack his mind into pieces. However, upon laying his hand upon the books leathery surface, his mind suddenly cleared, with a single feeling dominating his mind. The feeling manifested into a word he didn't understand, but felt was somehow relevant to the book, and the images he saw. The word he saw was in the odd language he had encountered earlier, which was as Xhinx stated, Sith. He could only see: Jen'Tevas
