If she had to pick one feature, just one feature that she had to pick out it was the lounge, in particular, the large transparisteel windows that stretched all the way up the back wall and up to the ceiling. They were transparent right now, an ocean of stars twinkling gently in the darkness of space making it feel like the ship was open to the void between the stars. To be honest, she'd lost count of the number of times she'd stumbled out of her cabin in the middle of the night, only to scare herself half to death walking into the room and just seeing open space. At times like this though, the view was amazing.

The girl felt a smile tugging up the corner of her lips, the grin spreading unashamedly across her face as she took a deep breath from the bowl clutched between her hands as she padded out from the galley to the couches, "You know, there really isn't much in the galaxy that can beat the smell of freshly cooked popcorn is there?" Without waiting for an answer, or really giving him much of a chance to react she dropped the bowl down in Caedyn's lap, dropping down on the couch next to him.

It really wasn't the break that she'd been hoping for, but in the aftermath of the battle that had raged across the surface of Commenor getting away for a real break wasn't really on the table. There was just too much to do putting the planet to rights and she didn't really want to drag Caedyn away from his family. But a trip into space, that wasn't so bad, and floating as they were with the bulk of the moon between then and the planet it was almost as if they were all alone up here. The girl shot a glance at the window as she reached for the blanket that had been covering them, her legs folding up beneath her body as she tugged the warm covering over her lap, her shoulder resting against Caedyn's side as she reached across his body for the popcorn, grabbing a handful as her blue eyes glanced over to the holo-screen playing the latest movie they'd grabbed off the holonet.

How long had it been since Caedyn had last been able to relax and breath easy for a change; Commenor was going to take a long time yet before it had recovered from the occupation of the Sith Empire, however with the World liberated and once more under the leadership of his Parents, a lot of the stress and pressure that had been weighing down on him had been lifted, at least for the time being.

He had promised Asaraa that they would go somewhere where there wasn't any trouble to be found, a place where they could relax and enjoy themselves, to simply be their young selves and not seem to be taking on the woes of the Galaxy. Caedyn wasn't King, nor did he wish to be. He'd spent a fair deal of time working alongside his Mother and learning the ropes of politics and governance over Commenor, yet it wasn't a life that he would choose for himself, nor did he intent on staying put once his home-world, his people and most importantly, his family was at peace again.

"I don't think I can remember when I last had Popcorn, to be honest..." Caedyn grinned a little sheepishly as he turned to looked up to Asaraa. His hands opened, catching the bowl just in time before it could land on him and possibly spill the popcorn everywhere. Lifting his head back to throw something of a sideways look back up at her, he quickly found the girl dropping down beside him with the blanket.

Truth be told, he also couldn't recall the last time he watched a holo-vid, or found himself in this kind of situation, if ever, really. The warmth of Asaraa's body leaning against his side was so very enticing, the pair of them had been through hell and back and she had stuck by him at ever violent and chaotic turn. Now in the privacy of her ship with little to distract them but the background sound of the movie, he leaned a little further against her, keeping himself upright, but doing just enough to push the boundaries of their proximity.

One eyebrow found it's way up as Asaraa stared at Caedyn in surprise, "you're kidding me right? I mean, eating popcorn's something that no-one should go without for too long." Putting actions to words the girl flicked a kernel of popcorn up into the air, tilting her head back to catch the falling treat before grinning at him. The smile stayed glued to her face as Asaraa leant forward, plucking up another kernel before offering it up to Caedyn, "Well, there's no time like the present to get reacquainted with the wonder of popcorn. Before you forget what it tastes like, and now that would be a tragedy."

This banter between them had been a casualty of the pressure on the planet, the stress and the uncertainty of the situation had made it hard to relax down there, to really get comfortable. She'd found she'd missed it, somewhere along the way since that first, well inauspicious meeting in the middle of a city that had had him leading her back to the palace Caedyn had become a pretty important part of her life. The pink-haired Jedi wasn't entirely sure when that had happened, but then she wasn't going to complain too much about it. It was...nice, relaxing almost, to be able to just relax like this with someone. Without thinking about it she let her head drop down, resting on his shoulder as she turned her gaze onto the holoscreen for a moment, idly reaching across for another piece of the popcorn. As people to relax with he really wasn't all that bad, the girl tilted her head back for a moment to stare at his profile as she let a soft smile tug up ger lips.

He looked a lot more relaxed and calm than he had the entire time on the planet. That alone made this whole thing worthwhile, she honestly hadn't expected him to agree to this little excursion but was glad he did. At least this way there was absolutely no chance for someone to interrupt them like there might have been down on the planet's surface.

It was kinda funny, but down on the planet there always seemed to be someone was around, not in a malicious way, but in a they could never get away from all the people. She'd spent the weeks of inactivity wishing that there were other people around, that they could do something...but now? She'd found herself missing that quiet, and a chance to let down her hair as it were and just be, to let her mind catch up on everything that had happened in the past few weeks. Without thinking about it one of her hands reached up to her hair, pulling it out of it's ponytail, fingers running through the strands as she transferred her gaze back to the screen, watching the show without really seeing it.

Caedyn chuckled quietly under his breath as she teased him for being so out of the loop with snack foods, in this case, the popcorn for which she offered to him and he took the kernel from her fingers to his lips, grinning awkwardly with the little piece between his lips and soon to be eaten as he lifted his head away, ever so amused with himself. "We do seem to have nothing but time now, don't we" he agreed with a sigh of relief, leaning his head back to rest against the couch cushion; "Feels like we haven't had a chance to breath freely since the initial blockade..." He added in retrospect, wondering how long ago that was exactly, with how much had seemingly transpired and he feeling as though he had completely lost track of time.

Caedyn had jumped from place to place since his return to Commenor with the simple intention of spending time with his Parents. After learning that his Father had been accused of treason, eventually tried in court though never officially found guilty due to the proceedings being interrupted by a terrorist attack from overhead of Chasin City, things had become so complicated. His father then went into Exile, somehow with his Mom's consent and help, only to wind up on Gree and taken hostage by the Dark Lord of the Sith, next minute, Commenor was under siege and all hell was breaking loose across every aspect of Caedyn's life with the second disappearance of his Master [member="Asha Hex"], she of whom this time hadn't resurfaced and then the Silver Jedi Order for which he had been so attached and focused on things at home that he had neglected them completely...

Asaraa's movement shook him from his thoughts however as she leaned in against his shoulder, his gaze turning to look down over her and soon summoning the courage to shift his arm up around the back of her shoulders, that he could encourage her to keep close. She had become the calming, pleasant influence in a life so frenzied in concern. Somehow, despite their being on the verge of defeat during the siege, hunted there-after and only to return to law low right under the nose of the Sith Empire's occupational force, they had come to build upon a relationship and sense of trust that Caedyn had found meant more to him than any other ties to those outside of his Sister and his Parents; a relationship he didn't wish to let slip away from him.

It was weird, the feeling of Caedyn's arm settling around her shoulders drew the girl in, burrowing up against his side. Bundled up against the cold...not that a climate controlled starship could ever really be cold, the warmth of the blanket and of Caedyn's body against hers had a tempting relaxing effect. Asaraa could feel the stress of the past weeks flowing out of her body as she breathed in and out, calmer and calmer. It was such a little thing, so why? It was so relaxing so why did it feel like she was about to go into combat? She could feel the same slowing down of time that came when she went into combat. The girl blinked slowly, her hand reaching across Caedyn's lap to the popcorn again, "It really does, but then at the same time," a smile tugged up her lips, "we really have been going all out since the blockade began. Stopping and sitting still, it doesn't feel real does it?"

As she spoke the pink-haired girl shifted around, poking a finger into Caedyn's ribs for a moment before she smiled beatifically up at him, "Nope, you seem pretty real to me now. So then it must all be over, and we actually get a chance to relax. Who would have believed it?" She certainly couldn't, that must be why her body was reacting like this, the tension of the conflict, that had to be it. Only...if that was it then why was she pressed in closer to the boy's side, letting the weight of his arm pull her in as she let her head rest on his shoulder like a cushion. The comedown from weeks of combat adrenaline didn't explain why she was enjoying the sensation of cuddling upto him like this. She...well back in the jedi temple growing up the padawans would sometimes huddle together when it was time to tell a story, the horror stories. But this was...something different, something more personal, this wasn't a situation she wanted anyone else to intrude in on. Rolling her head back the girl glanced up at his face, prodding him gently in the side again, "Credit for your thoughts?"

"Credit for your thoughts?"
Caedyn squirmed a little as she poked him in the side, hitting a rather ticklish spot and causing him to chuckle playfully; shifting to take her hand within his left, his right still around behind her shoulders, his gaze fell upon hers and his grin faded a little. "I guess....I'm thinking about us?" he replied with a rhetorical question, soon shrugging a little as if to make up for the awkward truth and seeking to elaborate a bit more so to explain himself.

"Pretty much, from the first day we met, there's been trouble..." Caedyn stated, his head lifting lightly and rolling his eyes, emphasizing the pain in the backside that life had been for them lately. Glancing back to Asaraa however, he hadn't finished; "You've hung around through all of it, even when I've given you chances to walk away, free of guilt...".

"It's not something I'm used to" He said with a small smile, not at all saying it was a bad thing, but rather very new in his life. Especially for someone who wasn't family, but even then, Caedyn hadn't ever really had a consistent presence in his life as he had moved away from Commenor at thirteen years old. His childhood was fine, but then he was still maturing and didn't really think about these things. "Even between my Master and I, we came and went in each others lives. Don't get me wrong, I love Asha like an older Sister....-But for the second time, I don't know where she is or what she's doing and I can't really consider her my Master anymore as my training seems to be left in my own hands...".

"I guess with you...-I feel like I've got more than I do with others. We've fought beside each other...-We've been through so much in such a quick amount of time but I know you've got my back and you know I've got yours..." but it was more than that and putting it all into words didn't come easily. Now that the fighting was over, he wondered what things would look like for them both, where their lives would take them and if they'd be forced to go down separate paths. "I don't want to let go of this" He concluded, his left hand tightening around hers in a gentle but affectionate squeeze, that sheepish smile crossing him once more as he locked his gaze with her own; "I don't know what we're gonna do after this but I don't want to stop seeing you...".

In the wake of Caedyn's admission, the slowing of time around the couple seemed to deepen for Asaraa, each second stretching out into a heartbeat as she felt the warmth of his body next to her, a pleasant comfortable feeling that had her leaning a little further against him, her leg brushing against his under the blanket as she tilted her head to the side. It was a little strange, in a nice way, to have Caedyn articulating her thoughts without having to say anything. He was right when it came down to it, the two of them hadn't known one another all that long, months really, but in that time they'd managed to survive a Sith invasion, sneaking back down into the middle of the planet and somehow avoiding the sith long enough to participate in the freeing of said planet. It was quite a lot to go through, but there was no-one that could deny that it had brought them closer together, spending weeks stuck in a safe house together had that effect on people.

The pink-haired Jedi returned Caedyn's smile, her fingers curling up around his as she gently ran her thumb along the back of his hand, fingers squeezing him back as she let a smile equal parts fond and playful. "Wait, you actually thought you've seen the last of me? I hate to break it to you Mr Arenais, but you can't get rid of me that easily, I'm like a bad cred, I always show up." The girl's voice softened, dropping to something quieter, more intimate, even though they were the only ones here. "Seriously Cae, after everything we've been through, I'm not planning on vanishing on you. I'll have to head back to Kashyyyk in a while, but it's not like we're all that far away and..." she let a wry smile pull at the corner of her lips, "there really isn't anyone else i'd wanna cuddle upto under a blanket with."

The smile she offered him was open, honesty writ across her face as she continued, "I don't really know my family, either of them, and a Jedi makes few friends as it is but...I know enough to know that I'd be an idiot not to appreciate having you around. Down on Commenor...even before that. I've seen forests burn and cities destroyed, I've seen the vagracies of cruel men force hardworking people out of their homes with little more than the clothes on their back." Asaraa swallowed, her gaze dropping down to her lap for a moment, fingers tightening around Caedyn's before she looked up. "The galaxy can be a pretty dark and cruel place, but...you're a bit of light in a swirling sea of darkness...and I think I'd like something nice and good...which is to say yes, I'd kinda like to keep seeing you too."

Asaraa's reaction probably shouldn't have surprised him given his choice of words used in expressing his feelings, yet he hadn't been thinking that they'd stop being friends or seeing each other after everything, but rather more along the lines of wanting more from her rather than just being friends. "That's not exactly what it meant to sound like" Caedyn piped in quickly, not wanting her to be offended in thinking that their time might mean so little as to assume such a thing.

"There really isn't anyone else i'd wanna cuddle up-to under a blanket with".
Her next remark left him easing up a little more, a grin exposing his relief as well as his pleasure in the thought of further times spent as they were now. "I sorta know what you mean and it ain't just the Jedi. Being a member of the Je'daii back on Tython and Svivren, I've done a lot of jumping across worlds, but you'd think with all the people that live on them, I'd have come away with a lot more friends than I have...", though it wasn't exactly like Caedyn to go actively searching for friends. Despite how he could be, there were times where he was less sure of himself and more prone to keeping to the background of things lest someone strike up a conversation with him first. His first visit to Kashyyyk with the Silver Jedi for example, and subequently why he probably struggled as much as he did to befriend others such as the Silver Jedi.

"...-But now that you've mentioned it, this isn't exactly something I do a lot either by the way" Caedyn admitted a little warily. Striking up the subject of girls and anything even close to his personal experience, or lack there of, could go one of three ways in his mind. She'd either laugh at him, somehow he might offend her, or she'd otherwise get what he was trying to say and not think much of it. "I've never had a Girlfriend before...-At-least, I don't think I have...-There was that girl you met back on Commenor, a Mandalorian girl, but nothing happened!" he seemed to want to assure her, suddenly a little nervous in the things he'd said; though Caedyn didn't like the idea of leaving out any details that Asaraa might not like finding out later on.

Well one of them was in trouble now, Asaraa just wasn’t sure which of them it was. The truth of the matter was Caedyn was just so cute when he got all flustered like that, talking about the blonde Mandalorian’s she’d met before..um Kat’s friend Beth. The girl offered him a small smile as she shifted slightly in her seat, snuggling herself in more securely underneath the arm draped over her shoulders. It was sweet how he was almost falling over himself to assure her that he hadn’t had a girlfriend before and that the Mandalorian…

All of a sudden the entirety of Asaraa’s mental processes came to a shuddering stop as if someone had slammed on the emergency brakes as her head slowly turned to stare up at the brown-haired boy, her eyes widening in something akin to shock. He..he had…he had just said girlfriend right? So he must have been talking about Beth, about their previous relationship…only why would he feel the need to tell her that unless… The pink-haired Jedi felt her cheeks redden as she realised the boy was talking about her. For the moment she was torn between the urge to hug him, and to bury her head in his shoulder, settling for a half turn, her cheek resting on the boy’s shoulder as she stared at the profile of his face.

“Well…that makes two of us, I’ve never had a girlfriend before either…well I’ve had girls who’re friend but…well…” she knew she was rambling now, taking her fullest effort to clamp her lips together, stilling her runaway mouth. “Well, I’ve never actually had a boyfriend together so, I guess it’s something we can figure out together. You know, as long as I don’t have to worry about you running off with a certain blonde you seem a little too defensive about.” She let her voice trail off as she shot a sharklike grin at him, Me think the man doth protest too much,” she pointed out leaning closer to the boy, no her boyfriend. “Are you sure that nothing happened? Absolutely sure?” Before Caedyn could answer her head darted forward, her lips pressing against his cheek for a moment. “Now, I’ve got nothing to worry about, after all, can’t say nothing happened right?”

Asaraa shifted a little, soon seeking to cuddle into Caedyn's side a little more and lifting her gaze to look at him while his was elsewhere, listening to what she had to respond with, an ever present smile upon his face. Happy, yet also a little nervous perhaps.

When she announced that she had never had a partner either, Girl nor Boy in her life, Caedyn was honestly a little relieved to hear it. That fact that he wasn't the only one here that would probably be stumbling into adapting to this kind of relationship, it at-least gave him the assurance that they'd both be in the same position together, and one not look any sillier than the other if things did go pear-shaped.

Quite frankly, he was also a little surprised too, now that he thought about it. Asaraa wasn't at all hard on the eyes where appearances were concerned, and she as a person was a great person to share the day (or night) with. The pair of them got along really well, there was certainly no denying that. The experience's they had shared together weren't exactly what you'd call a fun time out, but they had faced some harsh realities of their Galaxy and come out of it stronger and closer on the other side.

He wasn't entirely sure when he had made the decision, but he had decided some weeks back from the present, that he would fight to keep her safe and happy if that's what it took.

"Not defensive, nah" Caedyn glanced back at her with a half smirk and a swift exhale of air in a silent chuckle, "Just figured it's best for you to hear it from me before someone like Uncle Darlyn or Uncle Kaine goes teasing us...-Darlyn especially, he loves to tease. Not to mention Lori..." He grinned furthermore, knowing that his Sister would likely be the first one to throw some sort of joke or prank in his face the first chance she had.

The gentle and warm touch of her lips to his cheek caused him to pause, both in motion and apparently brain function as he lost himself in the moment. He hadn't expected that and he didn't quite know what to say. He was tempted to thank her but that immediately sounded silly in his head so he simply stared at her a little lost for words...

"I uh...." He started, though had to focus on what he was going to say before she had kissed him, "...You don't have to worry about me running off with anyone. The only other Girl I talk to these days is my Sister Lori" he shifted a little, pulling his arm a little tighter around her, so that he could enjoy the feeling having Asaraa within his embrace.

She could feel Caedyn's arms tightening around her shoulder, a comforting gesture that had the added benefit of pulling her in tighter against him. Unconsciously Asaraa shifted her position, turning herself ever so slightly so that her knees weren't pressing into up but rather her legs ran down next to his as she draped one hand across his lap.

In its own way, it was weird and somewhat unusual, she couldn't quite put her finger on the moment that this feeling had appeared, this level of comfort. Since the day they'd met the two of them had been close, and the time they'd spent had led to more time and more time until they'd ended up stuck in a safe house on Commenor hiding from the Sith patrols. Perhaps that was it, the closeness wrought by their time cooped up in a house together like that. It was impossible not to end up on one end of the spectrum, either you end up hating one another or well, she glanced up at her boyfriend, unable to stop the smile pulling at her lips. Or you ended up dating them apparently. Who would have guessed? Not that she had any complaints about it, he did make a pretty nice warm body to snuggle up to after all.

"Ah yeah, you realise I don't actually think I've met your sister yet," She knew that Loreena had been around on the Resolute at that first meeting in space, but everything then had been so frenetic that she'd barely had a chance to meet everyone else. Then before she knew it they'd been blasting off into space to head to Commenor where they'd spent the last few weeks. "So, aside from the mysterious sister, and you're...slightly crazy uncle, are there any other family members I need to look out for around?" She'd never say it aloud, but she did think that the size and closeness of Caedyn's family was nice, no matter where they were it was a support structure that you knew would always be there for you. She knew the Jedi would have her back, but this was something different. As much as she loved them, she didn't really think that curling up with some of them would be appropriate, or the whole kissing thing although, she would love to see some of the master's faces if she'd tried.

"Yeah, I know the feeling. We dance all over the galaxy doing all sorts of things but, you never really get to know the people, or really talk to them much." The girl's free hand wiggled over till it found Caedyn's hand, fingers entwining with his as she tilted her head to look back at him, a smile wreathing her lips. "You know, I don't think I ever told you how glad I am that you stopped to help me that day in Chasin."

Caedyn blinked for a moment in surprise, not having realized Asaraa hadn't yet met [member="Loreena Arenais"]; she was his Twin in almost every sense. Perhaps not physically but in a sense of personality and many character traits that they shared. He'd grown up beside Lori, and they'd only had each other in their younger days before he went off to study under Asha and the Je'daii Order, and she to the Mandalorian Empire and their Mother's extended family. "Yeah...-We're gonna have to change that I think. You're bound to see her when Mom organizes the celebration down on Commenor, after all we've been through" Caedyn smiled, pleased to be able to say such a thing. There was a good long time where he didn't think they'd ever get this far in terms of his home-worlds freedom.

"I guess I got a pretty large Family really..." It wasn't often something he thought about, probably to easily taking it for granted, yet for someone like Asaraa who didn't really seem to have one outside of the Silver Jedi Order, that might have seemed a little strange. "Mom's got a brother somewhere in the Mandalorian Empire...Gray, of Clan Raxis. Apparently she's part of the Clan too, though she doesn't talk ever talk about being Mandalorian...-Lori went off to train with our Aunt [member="Yasha Cadera"] and Uncle [member="Kaine Australis"]. It's a little hard to explain, they're not our blood but they're still Family", as far as he could remember that was all there was for extended Family...-"You've already met [member="Darlyn Excron"]" he remembered quickly, before moving on. Grife, it was like his life story was coming out, feeling as though he was rambling now. "[member="Bradshaw Ku"] and [member="Rae-Anna Ku"] are mine and Loreena's older Brother and Sister. They're adopted but no one talks about it or treats them any different. You already know our folks...".

Caedyn turned a little, his fingers lacing with Asaraa's own, looking back at her with a bit of a sheepish smile, soon to widen a little as she talked about their meeting on Commenor that first day. He hadn't exactly been looking out for someone to bump into, but fate would have it that they came across one another. Right place and time, sorta thing. "Considering how it all turned out, I'd probably be feeling a little ripped off if I were you" he joked a little, that humor of his coming out to lighten an otherwise awkward moment where he found a great deal more intimacy between them, then and there, than he was used to feeling. It was exhilarating, and nerve wracking at the same time.

Asaraa could only sit in openmouthed amazement as Caedyn started reeling off names and relations like it was nothing. And there weren't just average names, these were the names of some of the more influential people in the calendar that he was reeling off as his family. The girl groaned softly and buried her head in Caedyn's shoulder, "Ok ok, so just promised me one thing, I'm not gonna have to meet them all at once, please? I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to remember all the names and then I'll just end up calling people by the wrong name and then I won't ever be able to show my face on Commenor again, and that would totally suck." Turning her head to the side the girl rested her cheek on Caedyn shoulder, a smile playing across her lips as she watched him talk. He seemed, happy talking about them. From the smile on his face to his posture, Caedyn's whole face seemed to light up when he spoke about his extended family.

"You really love your family huh?" Asaraa's thumb ran slowly across the back of Caedyn's hand, tracing a path over his knuckles as she smirked up at him. "Hopefully they're not all as...exciting as you," the girl's smile took any sting out of her words, revealing the teasing in them as she started counting. "I mean who wouldn't enjoy getting lost, getting caught in the middle of a Sith invasion, wandering around back on the same planet that we just barely escaped from while the sith were doing their thing...hey yeah, now you mention it, do you think it's too late for me to get my money back on this boyfriend deal? I get the feeling that I've got the model that's gonna end up giving me grey hair before I''m 30!" She was grinning now, her smile almost wide enough to split her entire face as she lifted her head away from Caedyn's shoulder, tilting it to the side as she gave him a calculating look before leaning forward to kiss his cheek. "On the other hand, I guess the positives outweigh the negatives, so I guess I'll keep you. No getting out of this that easily." She sagged down to rest her head back on his shoulder, "Although, next time we decide to get away, lets do better than sneaking a few hours on a ship somewhere," a teasing smile touched her lips, "What will your family say about us sneaking off like this."

Caedyn beamed a grin as he listened to Asaraa Vaashe; he wasn't entirely sure whether it was the fact that she was calling herself his Girlfriend and he her Boyfriend, or the share fact that she was openly enjoying herself with her musing comments at his expense in sarcastic yet light-hearted play. "Well last time I heard, Yasha and Kaine were off doing Mando-stuff so I doubt you'll see them any time soon, the whole deal with Commenor kinda mixed things up there because apparently they were on terms with the Emperor...-Mom hasn't said much about it since, I'm not sure how she feels about things at the moment" he shrugged a little, replying with the facts though Caedyn didn't seem overly bothered at the same time. "I've never really had a lot to do with the political stuff...-I helped Mom out for a while when Dad was off being all weird and tragic, but my heart's always been with the Je'daii and we're not meant to take sides between this sort of thing" the Order that he knew and loved had more or less kept to the background of the Galaxies often warring political front for that exact reason, they weren't warriors or politicians but students and followers of the Force, quite different from the Jedi too.

"But yeah of course I do, they're my Family ya' kno-..." Caedyn turned back to his girlfriend only to find Asaraa coming in to kiss his cheek. It was a critical moment, an opportunity to do something unexpected and avoid thinking too much about what his heart and body were goading him into doing. She missed his cheek entirely and instead found his lips as Caedyn leaned into her, his left hand reaching over to sit upon her side while his right remained behind her shoulders. Her lips felt warm, soft and wet; the feel and taste of the exchange causing his heart to feel as though it skipped a couple beats, for he'd never done something so forward like this in his life.

Grinning to himself, his smile broke the kiss and he pulled his head back a little to gauge her response; "We won't be missed, they know I have my own life...-And some very important people in it" he whispered quietly to her.

Well that was...not what she'd expected to happen. The girl's eyes widened, her entire body seeming to stiffen for a moment as she felt the press of Caedyn's lips against hers. The boy's lips were softer than she'd thought they would be, warm and inviting as they pressed against her's. The shock, the surprise coursing through her system lasted only lasting a second before she seemed to melt against him. The tightness in the girl's shoulders seeming to flow out of her along with her breath as her eyes slowly closed. She could feel her heart beating in her chest, almost dancing a jig as a swarm of butterflies exploded out of her stomach, travelling up her body in an instant. She hadn't know before that it was possible to feel excited, nervous, ecstatic, shocked and scared at the same time. Yet, that was exactly how she felt, she could dance a jig, wanted to faint, wanted to scream but mostly didn't want to move. How was it possible that such a small thing, a simple touch could do that to her.

Only, it wasn't really a simple touch, was it? A kiss might just be a kiss, but this was so much more. This was the culmination of weeks of hiding, of tension, of watching her friend...her boyfriend under pressure. This was seeing in him a core that she found pulled her in, like a moth to a flame, a planet in orbit around a sun. The more time they'd spent together, the more she'd found herself caring, the tighter the attraction seemed to be. She'd just never thought that it might be reciprocated, never imagined that, well, he might feel the same way. He felt the same way...if her lips weren't otherwise occupied Asaraa just knew that a wide, goofy grin would be pasted over her face. As it was, that one thought seemed to expand in her mind, pushing out all the other thoughts and worries. 'He likes me back'. Her lips parted slightly as she leaned into the kiss eagerly, her own hand coming up the slip around the boy's shoulders.

When he did break the kiss, there it was the smile she'd known was waiting, her eyes sparkling with a happy light as she brought her forehead forward, resting it against his as a voice barely above a whisper slipped from her lips, she was afraid anything louder would break the spell that had been thrown up around them. "Well that's good, cause I don't think you're gonna be getting back to them anytime soon Mr Arenais...I'm afraid I'm going have to keep you here a little longer," her head tilted to the side, lips pressing forward against his again. "I'm gonna need you to show me just how important I am again, a few times just to make sure I get it."
