A Duel of fates

Sakon was headed down the star charts, flying his smuggler ship away from the outer rim and heading for the ilum system in the unknown regions of space. He had heard of an old jedi temple there long since forgotten and had decided to go exploring there...he also decided to check for any possible worth wile allys be it perminant or temporary to join up with him in an attack against the slaver industries...and possible a long line of attacks to follow it if everything worked out well. After 2 hours of hyperdrive powered flight he appeared in the Ilum system and after he flew down through the snowy clouds and blizzards which ripped at the land he landed on a solid patch of rocky ground...

The door opened and sakon walked out, dressed in white sith style robes, his lightgsaber ready to be drawn and his senses on high alert. He looked around calmly as he trudged from his ship out into the snowy blizzard

[Minna]

Ilum, the planet of lightsaber crystals. It had been a very long time since she'd last visited here, but this visit was not to go cave-exploring. Instead, she was here for the temples. In particular there was one temple of which she came for, merely to study it's remains and meditate on it for a while. Also, any scoundrels who might try and set up shop in the place would be caught by her, so she felt she was doing her part for the greater good. However, whilst examining the inside of the temple, she sensed someone had landed nearby. She couldn't tell who just yet, but it seemed they were heading for the temple, and there signature did not seem to be light-sided.

Preparing for the worst, she turned to the temple entrance and waited, rather eager to see who would turn up.

[member="Minna"] walking down the icy roads he stopped. He had picked upo on a sense...a strong sense which was heavy in the force. Light or dark? he didn't know...nore did he care...he walked a more grey line then anything anyways. He continued walking through the blizzards he reached a temple of crystles "interesting..." eh said as he walked in looking at all of the blue and green crystles. As he klooked around the sense became stronger...it was a more light sided force wielder. Turning around he spoke "i know your in here...dont bather hiding" he said out loud

"Who said anything about hiding?" Minna spoke alongside the sound of an igniting lightsaber, the pink light of which showed her standing in the darkened corner of the room. Stepping out from the corner, she held her blade low and examined the man. "What are you doing here?" Her voice wasn't particularly hostile, but it had an urgency to it, making it seem more of a demanding question. Although her blade was low for the time being, she constantly watched the man's movements, ready to defend herself if need be.

He ehard a familiar sound of an ignighting lightsaber and turned around seeing the pink haired jedi walk out of the dark "ahh...so its true...im not alone here" he said watching her as he pulled off his sith robes revealing his skin tight top and his outfit. he cracked his neck before speaking to her "well i dont know why you would be wondering....but i came here to explore the caves" he told her as he pulled his red light saber out and egnighted it just to be safe "and...because i'm searching for somebody" he told her in an emotionless cold voice

Noticing the red color of his blade, Minna frowned. "Sith? Or wannabe Sith?" Her lightsaber came up into a more defensive position, similar to what one could identify as a Djem So stance. "Either way, you aren't welcome here." She shifted her footing to something more stable, grounding herself in position in anticipation of an attack. Whilst she waited she tried to probe his mind and examine his feelings, but right now there seemed to be little to sense.

Neather" he responded to her as he watched her take a stance all to familiar to him. Djen so, his prefered fighting method as well. He took a stance as well watching her "I guess you could consider me a dark rogue...or maybe just a darker shade of grey jedi" he added as he felt her probing his mind. Wail most of his emotions and feelings remained cold and non existant there was a flicker of anger, determination...and spite in his heart but it wasnt directed towards her

 

[Minna]

With a spin of her lightsaber she charged in, aiming for a cut going up from his left thigh through to his right shoulder. Of course, she was expecting it to be blocked, and so if he did she would spin round for an attack starting on his right side. Continuing with strikes from the left and the right, she wanted to test the man's skill. He wasn't a Sith, and that made him a possible recruit, if he was strong enough.

He had a feeling that his was going to be the ending resault of the meet. He spun his saber abd blocked teh slash only to see her spin and aim for his right side. pulling his 2nd purple saber out he blocked the right hand shot, then the left and back flipped away from her to gain ground "alright....looks like this wont go easy" he said as he raced back skidding to a stop and aiming a slash to her neck, expecting it to be dodged or blocked he aimed a 2nd slash at her navel area diagonally wail keeping his 2nd purple saber ready to block any incoming strikes

 

[Minna]

"Two lightsabers, huh? Better even the odds." Minna smirked, as she came up to block the first incoming strike. As the second strike came in she ignited a shorter blue lightsaber, using that to bash his attacking blade aside. With two blades in operation, she began a barrage of rapid strikes straight on at Sakon, unrelenting and unbroken. "But who's more trained in Jar'Kai?" She asked mockingly, knowing the answer was most likely her.

A 2nd?" he said to himself as she began making rabid jabs and slashes at him in teh jar kai motions. He used both of his sabers blocking the strikes, narrowly missing getting burned by her blue saber. She was clearly better in jar kai then he was so he desided to resort to his core teachings of jem so and ataru. He put one of his blades away fast once he got some room between them and slammed into her with his own body, countering one of the jabs and after an attempt to get his arm under the hilt and around her wrest he would attempt to use a judo throw like move and fling her over his body in a counter strike which was quite unorthidox even in djen so

Sakon slammed into her, sending her off balance for a moment. As she tried to regain her footing, he was already throwing her over himself. Bringing the force towards her, she sent a blast of the force at him and also controlled her own trajectory, meaning she landed on balance with some distance between them. She noticed he was putting his second lightsaber away, and so she did the same, now standing only with her pink one. "Which form next, hmm? How about Makashi?" Her grip became looser, as she assumed an elegant Makashi stance. Shortly after she lunged in, sending a series of jabs and pokes towards Sakon's body, much like a fencer with a sword.

He felt the force blast him into the air but using his own dark force abilities he managed to slow the fall and levitate down to the floor "this is getting fun" eh said as he saw her take the form 2 makashi stance. He himself took the Djim so stance and began countering her jabs with his own slash like blocks befor pressing his own attack os slashes at her. Soon he jumped back and raising his hand made the sign to use force choke, if the attack was successful she would be feeling teh suffocating hold around her neck. After which he would lift her from the ground by it and attempt to slam her hard into the wall with it. There was no mistake that he could not take her lightly at all, if this kept up he would be forced to use his secret weapon though he preferred not to reveal that very often if he could avoid it

Minna swiftly and elegantly repelled Sakon's attacks, until he jumped backwards and began trying to force choke her. At first it worked, and she rose from the ground with a tight grip around her neck. However, with her spare hand she unleashed a powerful force push which would atleast send him off balance, breaking his force grip and allowing her to land back on the floor. She then spun her lightsaber in her hand, assuming her Djem So stance once again. An even-footed, side-facing position which gave her the upper-hand in defensive combat.
"You might aswell give up, I'll let you escape if you surrender."

surrender?" he repeated with a small bit of exited emotion in his voice "you'll never make me" he said as he said as he raised his hand and shot force lightning from his fingers and aimed it directly for her once he managed to regain his footing. He had somewhat predicted she would use the pushg on him so he had braced himself for it but the strength was quite unnatural for her in his own opinion. This was one of teh reasons he unleashed his lightning on her. an attempt to knock her back as well
