"I swear, I will rectify the sins I have committed on Yanibar."

Redemption, a path that Krayzen would continue to seek ever since he had renounced the Sith Code. Ever since the fateful duel on Coruscant, the Dark Knight had seen his mistakes; he had seen that what his family had followed for thousands of years was wrong. Among the Dratos lineage, he was the only one that had turned away from the Sith Code, yet in many ways, he still relied on the dark-side.

You see, during the duel, he had been fatefully injured. He had gone to a planet that he had been told of by his family, where he had rested, and recovered, albeit at a very slow rate. The planet's dangers had killed thousands of the troops loyal to him. He had faced insurrections, and attempted assassinations, while the planet's own dark-side nexus had ravaged the minds of many, as one time comrades had turned to kill each other. Only the most strong-willed, and loyalest of his troops had stood by him, and they had been able to save him on numerous times.

On their most notable occasion, they had contacted a rogue Night sister sect, who had done a ritual, using his own strength, and connection to the force to reave him of his own injuries. In exchange for becoming stronger physically, he would no longer use certain, but important aspects of the force, exchanging one thing for another.

And here he was, a loyal servant of his old collaegue, Isamu Baelor. When he returned, he had been given the rank of Major General, and had repaid Isamu with a Darr-Itah Battlecruiser that was once part of his command, and one of the 11 that still roamed through the galaxy. He had also returned, albeit secretly, to his own land of Yanibar, where he had faced his ancestors, all of them deciding to give him access of the family's secrets, in the hope that his own lineage would continue. Most importantly, he had promised himself the chance of returning to Yanibar, choosing his homeworld as the perfect place to rectify his sins, and to give in the galaxy a chance to start their lives again. That was some time ago. It was still a dream. Would it become a reality?

Current Time
Secret Location, Outer Rim Coalition Space

"She should be on her way then." Krayzen said, speaking to himself. He did not know who he was meeting. What he did know was that an individual he did not know had organized this meeting, a meeting that would hopefully bare fruit something to the dream, his dream for his homeworld, Yanibar.

As he sat there, the Anzat did not do anything, not carrying any weapons to symbolize the nature of the meeting. He did not come to engage in hostile actions. Krayzen had come peacefully, seeking only help on something he knew the Outer Rim Coalition were most certainly skilled at doing, helping people.

The Anzat had informed his superiors that he would leave for a period of time, not informing them of where he was going. He had safe guards in place to notify them if he did not return.

As he waited, he could only wonder as to who he would meet. Would it be an old enemy? Would it be an acquitance? He could only speculate.

The Outer Rim Coalition boasted no state of the art technology across the board, no uniform and beautiful ships, no clean clear-cut lines on anything. What they did have was the support of several companies, salvaged ships and weaponry modified to suit their needs and an underground way of doing things. They were a group of ragtag rebels, cobbled together from all different types all across the galaxy. Jedi, ex-Jedi, scoundrels, gunslingers, smugglers, and mercs alike all came together to keep the peace in the Outer Rim and pursue their individual goals provided they didn’t stray too far from the code.

Their moral code was shaky at best, but they didn’t live to bring war to others or harm innocents. Did they steal? Only from the right people, they’d say. When it came down to it, the Coalition preferred to free slaves rather than make them. A major proponent for abolition was Joza Perl, and she rarely turned down a slaver bust or a refugee mission.

The facility she’d chosen on Kal’Shebbol wasn’t the best, more of an empty building she planned to repurpose. Maybe a cantina, or a strip club when she got around to it. Most of the amenities were still intact, which was a good thing. She’d asked [member="Krayzen Dratos"] to meet her in the lower level, in a place that would pass as a conference room. “Pass” meaning it had an old wooden table with a handful of chairs scattered around it.

The man had already arrived when Joza entered the room, the Zeltron woman clad in business casual clothing which may seem a bit odd, given that she was representing a group of rebels. “Krayzen Dratos, is it?” She extended a hand toward the darkly clad man, giving him a polite but restrained smile. “Joza Perl. Thank you for meeting with me here today.”

Yes, the room was different from what he had been used to. Then again, he had also come from humble beginnings, and that made him respect the Outer Rim Coalition even more for what they had accomplished. He did not know them, but he respected many among them, knowing full well that the Outer Rim & Wild Space were a harsh place to live in, the Anzat having lived in one of those places himself.

And here he was today, meeting an individual that he had not seen in many years. [member="Joza Perl"], Jedi Master, and a former enemy. The Anzat knew her name well, remembering her from when he had served the One Sith. He remembered seeing her in the cell that Darth Ax'no had placed her in. Memories of his time in the One Sith were accompanied by feelings of immense guilt, Krayzen however masking them well enough to maintain his composure. This was not the time for that. He would have time later. The least Krayzen could do however was apologize, even if it was long overdue.

"I'm sure you might remember me." he said, maintaining a nonchalant expression.

"I know it's long overdue but.... I'm sorry." Whether the Zeltron would accept it or not was up to her. He had at least apologized to his former enemies. That was all that, at this moment, mattered to him.

"I come baring a proposal that I have been wanting to do for many years. There is a certain planet known to a few, a planet that can serve as a home for some of the galaxy's refugees that have know where else to go. Are you interested in the project?"

The Zeltron had done her research before coming in. She knew of his past involvement with the One Sith, a point that had made her incredibly wary at first. But she’d worked with the Iron Empire before, mostly with the niece of the Emperor, Aster Baelor. Her contacts within there had assured her that the man had turned over a new leaf, seeking redemption for the wrong he’d done as a Sith.

Bur Joza did not recognize him. Not immediately. So when the apology came, her brows crinkled in confusion, face stern. Perhaps he’d been an enemy on the battlefield to her, one of the nameless Sith whose face had been lost in the recess of her mind. “I don’t.” She stated. “And I don’t know what you’re apologizing for.”

Her tone was steady, polite but not exactly friendly. She was here for a potential deal with a man who was once a part of the galaxy’s most fearsome Sith power—she had no idea he was referring to her enslavement to Darth Ax’no given that he’d been heavily armored at the time, complete with a voice modulator. He didn’t appear armed, and neither did she, though that mattered little given the blaster strapped to her inner thigh, the hold out bolter around her neck, the stun pearls in her pocket and the concealed blade in her purse. Standard precaution in the case that things turned violent.

“Your proposal.” She continued, retrieving a datpad from her bag and placing it on the table. “Tell me about this planet. What are its resources, technology level, population, etc.” She tapped at the device and the screen lit in activation. “And the refugees. Do you have them waiting to be moved, or is this venture one more of a…preventative nature?” Forward thinking was always appreciated. It would be a nightmare taking up hundreds of thousands of refugees with no place to put them, so it gave her cause to wonder if that was Krayzen’s aim.

To create such a place would be dangerous, but if it was done properly? Worth it.

[member="Krayzen Dratos"]

Krayzen was somewhat surprised, given her polite, but stern expression. Then again, he shouldn't have been surprised, knowing full well that the sins that he had committed, and help commit would hunt him for the rest of his life. He also noticed that she had a blaster, the Dark Knight wondering if perhaps it was a mistake to not carry his lightsaber. No.... it wasn't. If he needed to, he had at least one weapon in hand, although he preferred not using it.

When she removed her datapad, the Anzat removed his storage device, safeguarded by the usage of quantum cryptography, the fact that he had used such a security measure evincing how important the project is.

"This storage has everything about the planet that you need to do. It isn't in any standard map. Like I said, only few know about the planet. Personally, speaking, I think it's only at least five people, including myself, but I could be wrong."

He then moved closer to the datapad, while removing another device, one that would act as a key that would decrpyt the information that he had. "May I show it to you?" in your datapad, he politely asked, knowing full well that it was her datapad, and it could perhaps hold sensitive information, information she may not want to reveal.

If she allowed him, he would move forward, and insert both his storage key, and the other device to the datapad's ports, all the information the Anzat had about the planet being now revealed. It would explain how Yanibar was a desert planet, with no resources. A brief synopsis of the planet's history was also shown, with some reliable data on the weather patterns. The hyperspace route, as well as the space station that was at Yanibar's orbit was also shown.

"In regards to your other question, it is more of the latter. I don't have any refugees. What I do have is a location that can store billions of refugees, provided if we have the resources to move such a large number. There aren't that much inhabitants. I have resources capable of building various ships, as well as other materials to support it, but if you choose to help me Ms.Perl, I believe it would be wise to contact other individuals. " he politely said.

[member="Joza Perl"]

She’d worked with former Sith before, hell she’d idolized one at a certain point. But Krux had been gone for a long time now. Not to mention there was a certain…rebellious phase involving a string of Sith lovers that had lasting consequences. Now she’d found her focus in her company and family.

Joza nodded once to indicate that she was alright with the device being attached to her datapad, sensing nothing nefarious around the man. She shifted to allow him the necessary room, eyes following his movements with passive curiosity. The screen lit up with lines of raw data, interpretations and images. It was a good summary of what they’d need to start mapping out structured, water supplies and potential bio-domes should she help him pursue this project.

“We’d need to account for the environment and how it’ll react with certain species as well. From the data you have,” She paused again, this time for a moment to scroll though it quickly. “It looks to be habitable by humans and most humanoids.”

Leaning back in her seat, the Zeltron let out a light grunt of approval. It was not the ideal planet for colonization, especially by refugees, but it would not be impossible. Rarely would you find a nice, temperate planet that wasn’t already populated at least, industrialized at the most.

“If its ships you need, I have frigates designed specifically for the transport of civilians. They were developed as a quick response to evacuate populations from hostile situations like natural disasters and war.” The events on Kaeshana and elsewhere had inspired this in part. Tapping at a few places on her datapad, she brought up a second window and then a holo-projection of the ship in question. A large, fast frigate that could hold up to several thousand passengers. “I also have several refugee stations that could work as an interim solution if there’s trouble with overcrowding on the planet.”

A pause before she continued. This time, the Zeltron leaned back all the way in her chair and fix Krayzen with an inquiring gaze. “What made you want to pursue something like this, if I might ask?”

[member="Krayzen Dratos"]

"We'll need to alter the planet's weather seasons. The planet is usually extremely hot, then it becomes extremely cold. That's why I'm hoping we can get other companies to help us." the Dark Knight replied, still maintaining his polite tone.

When he saw the frigates, the Anzat nodded, however he wondered if his company could help. They had the capability of producing ships of varying sizes, and the former Sith knew that he had a good chance of persuading the Iron Empire. More importantly however, Krayzen knew that if there were more ships, it means more refugees, although he didn't think that a company that had produced armor, and arms would be a good fitting.

Krayzen wasn't surprised by Joza's inquiry. He had expected sooner or later for someone to ask him a question like this. "Personal reasons." was the vague statement he would use to reply. It was, of course, more complicated than that. When he had been defeated by the GA Master on Coruscant, he had renounced the Sith Code. More importantly, his time on an unidentified planet had made him regret many of his actions. He of course, would not reveal that, as there were ways that it could compromise his own security, if someone were to look deep enough, although Krayzen knew that there were no traces of him, or anything else related to him on that planet.

"I can help you with producing refugee ships if you want. Same with the space stations." he replied, wondering if his former enemy would accept his help.
[member="Joza Perl"]

“Hm,” Joza’s lips pursed and twisted just slightly as she scrolled back to the data about weather patterns. “I don’t doubt that with the right approach, this project will gain the support of other companies.” Her gaze flickered up to Krayzen then back at the datapad. “Is this world inhospitable enough to warrant that? Altering weather patterns must be done carefully.” More of a corrective measure than anything she assumed, when a planet’s natural climate was knocked off balance by one problem or another. “A change in climate would affect the planet’s ecosystem in ways we might not be able to account and accommodate for. Perhaps we can come up with a less invasive solution.”

Up went the other brow at his vague answer, but she said nothing more on it. People had their reasons, and she’d be lying if she claimed not to be cryptic about her own.

Leaning back in her chair, the Zeltron shifted her focus from the datapad and onto Krayzen for the time being. She took him in for a moment, studying him in a sort of idle silence. “The ships have already been built. They’re roomy and have decent defenses, but they lack offensive weaponry. Escorts would be appreciated.”

Who would want to blow up a ship of refugees? That list wasn’t long until you added in the spite factor. She’d seen people—Sith mostly—go through incredible lengths to exact vengeance for their bruised egos. Evacuating civilians during war time could be hairy.

"Trust me, I know the world inside and out. There is a reason why it's been isolated for so long." The Dark Knight had spent at least a century on the world, and he knew that it took special people to be able to survive such temperatures. If the project succeeded, he wanted the refugees to be as comfortable as possible.

"The planet doesn't have that much of an ecosystem to begin with. Only very rare animals, suited to the climate can survive there." he added. "There are also certain ways on the planet, such as creating structures that act as artificial environments for plants, and other things to grow." he countered. Of course, his information was limited, but the Dark Knight knew some structures built by the Zeison Sha still were there. He also knew that some people used them, at least the last time he was there.

"I'll be more than happy to build escorts." he ordered. "Troops, and security personnel could be provided. " he stated.

There was another question that he wished to ask. From what he knew, [member="Joza Perl"] was more of a neutral master, friends with people from various factions. Krayzen, being a former One Sith General, could not claim to have such relations. Additionally, she had a reputation for helping those in need, and her company, from his knowledge, wasn't exactly in the lucrative weapons, ships, etc markets.

"I was wondering if you could lead the negotiation of certain companies or factions, if you don't mind. I don't think someone like me will be the best profile to represent the project." he stated. The Dark Knight's statements was carefully crafted, Krayzen knowing full well that what he stated was true, but it also hide other true feelings. For instance, if he were to lead the entire negotiation processes, he would not allow the Galactic Alliance, or any company doing business with them to help. His hatred of his former enemies was to powerful, as well as the fact that a personal source he trusted had told him they had murdered humanitarian workers on a certain planet. Yes, he didn't have the proof, but he trusted this source very much.

Then there was the list of other factions that Krayzen was wary about, as well as other reasons. To put it simply, he would compromise the project with his own feelings, and that was not what was best for the refugees. It also wasn't good for him either.

“I am aware of artificial environments and environmental converters.” She glanced down at the datapad then back to Krayzen, brows crinkling for a moment before leveling out. Joza did not come to him with intent to disrespect, but she needed to put her uncertainties to rest before moving forward.

“Ecosystems are delicate, as I’m sure you’re well aware. Killing off one minor species—be it an ox, a weed or a fly can cause a chain reaction of damage.” A pause as she examined the man, his posture, the way he held himself, the cadence of his voice as it echoed in her mind. “I’m afraid that I can’t trust you on word alone. Why has this planet been in isolation?”

At the mention of escorts, she nodded in agreement. “Thank you. Heartbeat has its own security personnel, but it’s not a bad idea to add to it when needed. Troops will likely only be necessary if we’re evacuating civilians from zones of conflict.” Another pause. “Which is more likely than I think we’d both prefer.” The corners of her lips upturned in a mirthless smile, humor dry. No matter how many times the Sith and Jedi clashed (or any two major powers for that matter) it was always the civilians who lost. Every time.

The talk of negotiations caught her off guard, scarlet brows rising as she considered it. “Who else did you have in mind?” There were certain people and powers she would not work with—she assumed that the Sith groups were off of the table—and those whom she had ties to that may be interested in helping.

[member="Krayzen Dratos"]

The Anzat was about to reveal to [member="Joza Perl"] that he had grew up on the planet, but he decided not to, wishing to keep his past hidden, like it had always been. Even when he was in the One Sith, no one had known of where he grew up, the only information he had revealed stating that he had been on Nar Shadaa for many decades doing mercenary work, and that he was aware of his force sensitivity.
His past was his to know alone- at least, that was what he intended.

"The data I gave you has the complete package when it comes to the planet, it's history included." he said. "A basic summary is that an ancient force sensitives were looking for somewhere to stay, and they landed on Yanibar, the planet I'm talking about. They then founded a force order that kept the peace, and so forth. " he quickly replied.

"Yanibar has always been isolated. It's in Wild Space, which I'm sure you know has hundreds, and hundreds of isolated planets."

Krayzen then heard her reply to his request with a question. He then sighed. "It's a long list." he stated.

"Well, I think we can agree we won't be negotiating with the First Order, the Galactic Empire, the Sith Ascendancy, or the Resurgent Empire. In terms of the other factions, I was mainly talking about the Galactic Alliance, although I am wary about the Mando'ade, an I have yet to form an opinion on the Free Worlds Coalition. Furthermore, I also wouldn't want to converse with the Dominion as well." he replied, Krayzen being well aware of the fact that they harbored Sith.

"Will that be fine?" he said, waiting for a response.

Joza would have to look over the data thoroughly before any sort of finality—as much as she wanted to believe him, she had little to trust Krayzen on especially after revealing that he’d been a member of the One Sith.

“How do you plan to alter the ecosystem to make it more suitable for human life?” A simple question. Something told her that the Anzat knew more than he was letting on, but it was her responsibility to grill him for the important details before signing on.

“The Free Worlds Coalition seems a decent bunch. They prefer their neutrality as far as I can tell. I agree with your sentiments on the others.” She doubted that most of them would agree to help in this venture given what she knew. “I have ties in the Alliance. Once things are finalized and plans are drawn up, I can bring it to them. My pull is stronger in the Outer Rim Coalition, but we’re less formalized.”

She paused. “What about the Silver Jedi?”

[member="Krayzen Dratos"]

"By making it have a temperate climate. It's a balance between the two; not everyone can survive the climate systems on Yanibar. " he stated.

The Anzat could see that there was still a long way to go before trust could be established. He knew his servitude to the Sith was one of the reasons to blame. Even then, the Dark Knight knew he would also apply his own cautiousness to the situation. Krayzen believed Joza was perhaps the best person to deal with the situation, especially with his own history. The General however would continue to apply vagueness, and stand firm if need be, as he would not reveal his past.

When the Zeltron commented positively on the Free Worlds Coalition, he remembered what she had told him. “I’m afraid that I can’t trust you on word alone."
He would apply the same statement to her.

"I'm afraid I can't trust you on world alone Ms.Perl." he replied. "It is however good that we have a consensus on the Mandalorians. In regards to the Silver Jedi, I am more than happy to converse with them on the matter. " he said, believing that the Silver Jedi wouldn't mind, at least from his own meetings with them.

"In regards to the temperate climate, I'll admit my own fault at being vague. That was why I wanted to converse with other companies on the matter, who are more skilled, and knowledgeable with such tasks. " he said, as he awaited her response.

[member="Joza Perl"]

The Zeltron arched a brow as he repeated her earlier statement to her in reference to the Free Worlds Coalition. “I understand that. When you form your own opinion of the Free Worlds Coalition, we can discuss bringing them back onto the table. But I remind you that you did ask me here to help garner support from outside powers.”

It was clear that regardless of how polite they were being towards one another, there was still a measure of distrust between them. As it should be—two former enemies rarely got along right away without feeling each other out for intentions first. While Joza wanted to believe him because she salivated after projects like this, it would take time. Likely it would take time for him to place greater trust in her as well.

“I admit that I am wary of the Mandlaorians as well. I don’t think they would jump at the chance to volunteer for a humanitarian aid project—not unless they get paid.” The words weren’t spoken with ire, rather honesty. She couldn’t blame them, Mandalorians looked out for their own. Joza had her private opinions on them, some more emotionally fueled given that her father was a Warmarshal among them. He had said that the Mando blood in her veins would call to her someday, but she figured it to be far too diluted. “It looks like they may be on the cusp of infighting as well.”

When the topic shifted back to climate control, Joza nodded slowly as she followed along with his words. “We’ll have to reach out to environmental companies and start talking about what we need done. Going by the data you gave me,” She paused to scroll through the datapad briefly. “It doesn’t look like the two extremes are…that extreme. Doesn’t get as cold as Csilla, thank the Force.” She mumbled that last bit with a little laugh. “Until then, we could use environmental converters in any standing structures.”

[member="Krayzen Dratos"]

As she spoke, Krayzen sighed. He hated to admit it, but Joza was right. Krayzen had asked her for help with dealing with the other factions. What he had done was a childish reaction, one not befitting someone like him. The Anzat realized that he had to apply what he called "a cautious amount of trust" toward Joza. After all, it would be better for them to trust each other, for the project.

"Look. I'm sorry Ms. Perl. What I did was a childish reaction, nor was it mature. Your right. I did ask for your help, and opinion in regards to the other factions. Personally, I'm not sure if there is anyone who fits the profile." he quickly replied. His tone showed that he did mean it, and at that instance alone, Krayzen would have a vulnerable tone.

"I am wary about the Mandalorians, although I do hope that if possible, they can help. There are rumors of course of some of them supporting the Sith however, and that is something I am worried about." he said. He also had a personal source tell him that the Manda'lor himself was connected to the Sith, and the Dark Knight trusted this source.

"I fully agree with you on that notion. Environmental converters would be sufficient for now." he replied.

While he had spoken, the Broken General had wondered to himself if he should reveal to Joza a small part of the truth. Perhaps it would better their cooperation, or remove the distrust that was between them. Truthfully speaking, the Anzat did know, but he would give her a small part of his past.

"I served the largest empire that we have seen ever since we came out of the Plague, yet the empire killed billions, and affected trillions with their dictatorship rule. I wish to attempt to at least rectify my mistakes, even though I will have to carry the burden of my sins for the rest of my life. That is why I came to you [member="Joza Perl"]: it is because of redemption that I wanted outside help." Krayzen said, clearing his voice.

"In regards to the other factions, specifically the Galactic Alliance, I will be honest. Yes, I acknowledge I was their enemy, so there is a justified belief that I have bias towards them. More importantly however, in my opinion, I look at them the same way I look at my former brethren, the Sith: I see them as an enemy, and I also believe some of the actions they have taken could be compared, in some aspects, to the same maliciousness I sore in the One Sith. That is why I will not seek for their help Ms.Perl." Krayzen said. He didn't care if his opinion made it's way back to the Iron Empire. Krayzen had openly opposed his superiors' move for diplomatic relations with the Galactic Alliance. They knew what he thought, and he knew he wasn't the only one.

"I don't intend for this to be a political discussion. I just wished to clear the air on some matters. I came to you asking for help. You should be aware of my motives." he said.

Of course, he didn't reveal his most important reason for despising the GA, because it would compromise him, but Krayzen would be quiet about it: at least, for now.

Joza gave Krayzen her full attention as he spoke, letting him speak before nodding in understanding. She got the gist that he was being genuine from a mix of her own empathy and skill in reading people, and truthfully she hadn’t thought he’d come here with ill intent—but she’d dealt with Sith and their conniving ways to a point that made her wary.

“I understand. Thank you for taking the time to think this through, but I ask for your understanding. It is difficult for me to comfortably grant too much trust in a man I’ve only ever interacted with as a Sith.” She paused. “From what I’ve been told.”

But she was still here and still continued on with the discussion, an act that spoke to her interest in his proposition and what measure of trust she had in him. “It may be best that we hold off on the Mandalorians until we know more. For now, we can contact the Outer Rim and the Silver Jedi. As far as the Free World’s Coalition goes, we can reach out to them at the point if and when you feel comfortable.” There would be no sense in contacting a power that they could not agree on, which she was fine with.

“The Alliance can be extreme in some circumstances.” It was no secret that Joza had allied with them recently, though he interest shifted more towards protecting the Outer Rim and helping to curb the First Order threat. “I understand if you do not feel comfortable contracting with the Alliance. As for your redemption venture…” She trailed, trying to find the right words for what she wanted to say. “It’s not the easiest path to walk I’m told, but I’ve known Sith who cast off that title and pursued more humanitarian projects. It can be done.” Emerald gaze shifted over Krayzen, mouth set in a firm line though it was not judgmental—rather, encouraging.

Something in her wanted to see him succeed.

[member="Krayzen Dratos"]

Krayzen sighed as he listened to Joza. He had done similar tricks before during his time as a mercenary, before the Sith or anyone else arrived. The Anzat didn't blame her, knowing full well that she most certainly had suffered from the Sith in some form. Hopefully however, he could earn Joza trust. Until then, all he had to do was prove himself.

"More than you realize, I understand what you mean Ms. Perl. " he replied, before getting back. At least he had, based on his own observation, seemed to have gotten her interest though.

"Thank you for that, in regards to the Galactic Alliance." he stated. "In regards to the Alliance's extreme measures, I believe it is more often, but nevertheless, I do appreciate you being fine with the reservations in regards to the Alliance." he stated, showing a very small sign of happiness, before returning to his usual demenaour.

"I would be happy with working with the Outer Rim Coalition, and the Silver Jedi on the matter. In regards to the Iron Empire, I believe that I could get their cooperation as well."

Then there was the most important statement Joza had made in their latest round of a discussion, the one in regards to Krayzen's path towards redemption. "I can never redeem myself for the billions of lives I have affected in my capacity as one of the former top generals in the One Sith. My actions will follow me for the rest of the centuries that I roam the galaxy." he stated. "If one life however is changed, I will be eternally grateful."

The Anzat however had noticed Joza's encouraging tone, despite it's subtly. She didn't know it, but she was the first one to have encouraged him.

The Anzat would always remember that statement for the rest of his life.

[member="Joza Perl"]

Things slowly settled between the two as they seemed to meet each other halfway on potions of contention. For this, Joza was glad. She had no idea how long he’d been a Sith for, but knew that some of them had issues with patience and anger. Thankfully Krayzen seemed more level in that aspect, though she knew very little of what he was like before. Some Darksiders were explosive and violent, while some were cunning and quiet with many falling somewhere on the spectrum. The same went with Jedi, with Rogues, with anyone really. Having the Force didn’t exclude you from having certain personality traits.

The discussion seemed to be winding down, so Joza reached for her data pad to power it down and store it back in her purse. But Krayzen’s words gave her pause—fingers resting on the metallic edge of the device as she gave him a long look.

He had been clear in that this was a redemption quest, the act not unheard of when bad guys turn good. Or try to—she’d seen some succeed, some fail, some fall the opposite way. In no manner had she seen all of what the galaxy and the Force had to offer, and would likely pass away before she could ever reach that theoretical point. To her though, that point didn’t really exist.

Her gaze lingered, unabashedly boring into him as if she were trying to see something that wasn’t on the surface. Part of her wondered if he legitimately wondered if he truly cared about aiding the unfortunate or if this was some sort of ego quest, a sponge of redemption he could use to soak up his bad deeds. Maybe that was the paranoia setting in. He’d even acknowledged that he knew he wouldn’t be able to take back what he’d done.

“Are you doing this for you—or for them? The unfortunate, I mean.” The words were not accusatory or angry, but they held a sincere weight to them.

Krayzen wasn't surprised by the question. It had been one that he had asked himself on numerous occassions as he had continued to think about the idea that he had. The Anzat had thought of creating a long response to justify why he was doing it for them, but he decided not to, only choosing to be vague, as he had been on other instances.

"Them. I am doing it for them." he replied, the Dark Knight having a neutral tone. His actions had already demonstrated he was doing it for the refugees, but the Anzat knew he would have to do more to convince the Zeltron Master.

"When, and where do you want to set up the next meeting?" he wondered.

Joza gave him a long look before slowly rising, settling her datapad back into her purse.

The answer had been satisfactory, so she didn’t need to say anything else on the subject. If Krayzen was weaving some sort of deception, it was absolutely masterful—but that wasn’t her concern anymore.

“I don’t know yet.” She responded honestly while settling her purse back over her shoulder. “We’ll be in contact. I have a few things to sort out.” Joza nodded once in Krayzen’s direction. “I’ll see you again soon, Krayzen Dratos. Take care.”

With that, the Zeltron turned to take her exit.
