A Date in the Stars (Mig/Tamar)

Alor of Clan Gred, Mando'ad'jetii
Mig smiled as [member="Tamar Fitz Kierke"] snuggled up and leaned against him. It was hard for him to imagine this night getting much better now, and it had really just begun. Tamar then said that if all they did was sit where they were, the night was worth it. Mig smiled, kissing her head again before leaning his head against hers.

"I feel the same way." Mig then thought a moment, remembering what his Buir had always called him mother. He then let out a relaxed sigh before saying "Ner Kar'ta (My Heart)." And then Dan came back with their food, and asked if they wanted a larger booth. Did this di'kut (idiot) not even realize the pair were on a date. Tamar's quick reaction got a chuckled out of Mig as he kept his arm around her and shook his head.

"I'm starting to think you've never seen anyone on a date before, have you?"

[member="Mig Gred"] was warm, his snuggled arm around her as comforting as she’d imagined. The kiss on her head felt like heaven. For a few precious minutes it was all working well. Mig was happy, Tamar was overjoyed, and the breadsticks were cheesy. It was all working out.

“Heart? Me? Never been one of those before.” Tamar nuzzled close. After all the adventures, to actually stop and enjoy a few hours alone was bliss.

Then Dan.

Freaking Dan came by.

“Oh for the…” Tamar whimpered, looking wide eye up at Mig. He answered Dan back, and Tamar clapped her hands in a slow clap.

“Well said, c’yare. We’re staying, Dan. We’re staying and we need more drinks and please leave us alone. For the love of all that’s holy.” Tamar pulled her plate over to herself, leaning over to get Mig’s before Dan moved them to the middle of the floor.

He blinked and looked between Tamar and Mig. “You… and you? You…….. and….. you…. huh. Thats… sure… guess if you want to… date at your age.”

“At my age!? Oh Dan, just go.” Tamar groaned and watched him shrug and walk off, before sighing deeply. “Shall we?”

Mig smiled as [member="Tamar Fitz Kierke"] came closer, saying that no one had ever called her a heart before. It felt like they couldn't get any closer physically without being attached, and honestly Mig was loving it.

"Really? Someone beautiful as you's never has someone say that?" This was grea... and here comes Dan again. Honestly, this man seemed about as dumb as a bantha, and that may have been an insult to banthas. And then he spoke up. Mig facepalmed before giving the waiter a slight glare.

"Dan.... Gah, Tamar put it best. Just get." He the picked up his drink to take a sip before here Tamar's question. He gave a nod, smiling. "Yeah. Let's."

“Beautiful!?” Tamar leaned away from [member="Mig Gred"] and looked him in the eyes, before peppering out in a delighted, but self-deprecating laugh. “Another first! I don’t think I mind being called beautiful, if you do it.”

Soaking in the warmth of his affection, Tamar shut her eyes and basked. There she was, years into her Mandalorian adventure and she’d found a man who valued and hugged her like a champion. She felt precious like she hadn’t previously, a part of some vast interconnected family, or love.

Dan shrugged and toddled off once more, leaving a shaker of dried cheese flakes for the couple. He mumbled to himself about dating in the elder years, then went back to stand behind the bar and piddle on his wristcomp.

Tamar grimaced. “I’m not that old. Gosh…” Shaking her head, she took her glass and raised it to chink against Mig’s. “To a spectacular date, and tiny booths.”

Mig smiled, patting [member="Tamar Fitz Kierke"] a bit as she grumbled about Dan. Really, he was the only hiccup of the night. Mig was just happy to be with his lovely lady. No fighting. No worrying about his clanmates. Just relaxing with Tamar. She then offered a toast, and clinked Mig's glass. He smiled, and quickly said "Amen for them." He then took a sip.
