Waterfall Of Light
Tython, Deep Core
There is life, and there is death.
There is Light, and there is Dark.
Connor Harrison mused as he sat on the edge of a cliff opposite an old style Jedi Temple. He popped the last of his sandwich into his mouth and let his feet dangle as he watched the gorgeous waterfall cascade down through crevices and walkways of rock into the ground below.
Tython reminded him of Voss in many ways, which annoyed him. But it also reminded him of Corvus. She’d been on his mind recently more than usual, probably with the emergence of Darth Vitium coercing young Aria Vale into playing with his head unknowingly.
If Corvus was here, maybe he would have finally found his place in the galaxy. Maybe he’d be the Grandmaster of the Silver Jedi, or the Republic Order, standing by her and hopefully showing what a beacon of light he was.
The raging water washed away his daydream. In reality, he was on the edge of stepping into a world he once tried to destroy, and turning his back on those who now showed him little respect, little regard and great ignorance. He had nothing and he had nobody.
Memories of the past couldn’t save anyone, no matter how much they wanted to believe it.
Returning from the captivating Doctor Irajah Ven on Dosuun, and before that the mind games of the Rusted Queen and Matsu Xiangu on Coruscant, Connor was on the way back to Silver space, but not before this little detour. He had nothing to run back to – he couldn’t care less. He wanted to be alone to put the next pieces of his plan into action, and to focus on getting his new claim; Aria Vale. Such a strong, powerful and assertive Jedi wasted with them, he wasn’t going to stop until she was his and she could become something truly wonderful.
Jedi and Sith culture of old and new clashed here on this Core planet, and Connor was enjoying the view without a care in the world as he munched away, not feeling guilt or any burden for once.
