Kay-Larr
Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Ophelia knocked on the door of Kay's office before opening it and stepping inside. She was Kay's assistant and confidant, far more important to the Queen of Commenor than just a secretary. Ophelia knew most of her secrets, but not all. Yet the two shared a special bond. Kay didn't know her mother growing up, so the lady took on that role at times, guiding her wherever she could. It felt nice to be wanted and appreciated.
"There is a [member="Corey Brave"] on his way, my dear. It seems that Gyndine has chosen a Senator. Shall I bring him in here as soon as he arrives?"
Kay looked up from her reading, tea in hand. "Yes please. Hopefully he's a lot easier to get along with than Viktor."
"Easier or not, it doesn't matter. They aren't your choices, but the planets that they represent. You have to get along with all of them. Including [member="Viktor Alexander"] . It's better for the long run."
With a slight frown, Kay nodded her head. "Yes, Ophelia. He just...get's under my skin so much and it's like he's looking for some way to get me locked up. And I didn't even do anything to him."
Ophelia just shook her head. "It doesn't matter. And look, he's not even here and you're getting all flustered. Just put him out of your mind and focus on the new arrival."
As Kay nodded in agreement, Ophelia left to go and meet their guest at the Royal Palace's landing pad. The Sapir tea in Kay's hand was a common sight. She was addicted to her tea, more so as it gave her comfort in trying times. Plus she liked the taste too.
As she waited for Corey to arrive, she went over final decor decisions for the Senate Hall. Hopefully it suited all of the Senators' tastes.
