A Clockwork Galactic Response: Kuat
Speaker Pheron:
Space was full. Hard to do usually given it's vastness. But today was special. Today, everyone was here.

"...Commander on the Bridge!"

"Com Specialist!" Flint bellowed as he came roaring to the Holo-Screen, "Are we ready yet?"

"Aye sir! All of the Networks are ready to begin The Initiative!"

"Helmsman!" The Supreme Commander barked as he pulled his Helm over his face, "Are all the Guest Fleets assembled?"

"Aye sir! All of our visitors are here and accounted for! They are waiting for us to transmit The Initiative! Then the Secret Holo-Meeting can begin"

"Very well then. Transmit the Initiative to all of the Assembled Leadership waiting on their boats. It's time to start the meeting."

In tandem a thousand secure networks sprang to life across all of Kuat'y space. Firewalls went up and Diversions went out. It was down-right excessive in it's security protocals and quite literally breath-taking to behold. This meeting was not only secret. It was being cloaked by thousands of Hackers and Slicers planet-side. Indeed, the ECM present in this whole Sector was jarring,

"All green sir! The Leadership is linked in and we can begin the Holo-Meeting at your go!"

"Bring it up Specialist! It's time to say hello."

Instantly the Bridge of the Salvation Class Star Defender became bathed in blue light. Every single Ambassador and Leader from the other Factions was now present in Holographic Form. Flint raised his helmed chin and began,

"Ladies and Gentlemen the Meeting is Assembled. The Topic today is the Machine known as Omni. ...You are each here today because this is a Galaxy-spanning threat of Extinction. And I am here on behalf of the Republic to invite all of us, friends and enemies alike, to work together to destroy it."

"We proceed. Step forward and offer what you will."

Kodiak was on the bridge of his command ship. He was amazed that everyone was really here. The Sith. The Empire. Everyone.

As the Supreme Commander finished. Kodiak stepped forward. He was in his formal black suit. He had his short jet black hair clean and shaved. He smiled as he saw the other holograms. "Hello. I am Kodiak Mosthal. Leader of the New Rebel Alliance. My forces may be small but we are large in the number of spies we have. From the intelligence gathered so far the one called Omni is a super computer. His intelligence is that of the old Jedi master Luke Skywalker. Besides that we have been trying to pinpoint his location." Kodiak wait a moment before continuing. "We are also trying to figure out just what he seeks. Though at this point, however, it seems he wants nothing more then us all dead."

It was simply amazing how many people shown up. Vladimir was on his starship converted from Vyperion's final use while Gridiron and all of VyperTek's employees were on a dropship next to him. "Hello, my name is Vladimir Tedesky, Jedi Padawan and CEO of VyperTek Industries. While I did not fully intend to bring my entire business with me to this summit, I have due to lack of a personal ship for Gridiron, my bodyguard droid."
*My name is Gridiron, and I'll be glad to help with the protection of this summit.*

Trilan exited hyperspace just outside of Kuat's orbit seated in an agile two seated bomber. His old buddy Quanto Squanlight was sitting in the Pilot's seat with a fat cigar hanging off of his Bothan lips. Quanto also happened to be a retired naval pilot who'd managed to keep his bomber after he retired. When the Supreme Commander had asked for volunteers for a makeshift fleet Quanto had jumped at the chance. Quanto had needed a gunner and Trilan happily volunteered.

"Lieutenant Squanlight, Republic Navy, retired, and Trilan Tenthrad, swordsman. Requesting permission to join the battlegroup."

Quanto keyed to the largest nearby cruiser.

After a rather harrowing escape from Coruscant, Aurelia Saelari was in the safest place in the galaxy, Kuat. Though shaken by the experience, the Chancellor was nothing if not prepared. She stepped forward so all the leaders could see her, and so she stood beside @[member="Flint Pherson"].

"My friends, former enemies, beings from across the galaxy, I think you for your attendance. These past few days have been a severe and terrible shock to us all. Having witnessed first hand the barbarity of this onslaught I cam even more determined to put an end to it. This machine enemy 'Omni' is a threat to every single one of us. If Coruscant can be overrun, then so can anywhere, and in time we will all be overcome singly if we do not unite now. The situation is grim, but not hopeless. Through quick thinking by the Republic's brave Jedi and military forces, much of our war assets have escaped corruption or destruction. The enemy is vast, but we have some key advantages. So far we have seen no evidence of warships or transports created by Omni. Thus for now the threat is partially contained, though contained to our most important worlds admittedly. I therefore ask all of you to pledge your support in ships, soldiers, technology and anything else which might help us. We must also find a way to break the hold Omni has over sentients, which as we have seen can be spread with terrifying speed. However, I promise all of you that we shall prevail no matter the cost!"
She stepped back to indicate she was finished.

Kodiak looked at all the other leaders, seeing how no one would respond, he spoke. "I don't know about anyone else but I think Coruscant is our main priority. Seeing how it is the heart of the galaxy." He turned his attention towards Flint Pherson, "Have you thought of any plans to counter strike?"

COMPACT SPEAKER:

He walked into the meeting with a small retinue of Echani guards. These were the ones he'd rescued from Coruscant after his rescue attempt for Hanna. It was already in progress, he saw, but he'd been in a holo meeting with the Council on Eshan. As it seemed, the Compact had launched its forces to nearby Ord Mantell where Clockwork forces had been detected. Preemptive strike was appropriate.

"Don't consider it as contained as you think, Chancellor. I just spoke with the Echani Council and it seems that droids have risen up on Ord Mantell. They've become infected despite a true Omni presence. This can spread quickly. We aren't sure how, but the Compact is striking preemptively to cut it off at the head. I am to receive updates as they come in."

He stopped and looked around the room. This was going to be interesting.

Far from the planet Kuat, a Dalek-class Imperial Assault Frigate dropped out of hyperspace on the opposite side of Rasapan from Kuat. Shielded by the gas giant in the Kuat system, this Imperial ship would have been impossible to visually identify from Kuat - where most ships gathered. However, the ship displayed the codes necessary to identify the vessel as one invited to the summit.

Due to being deep within enemy territory, the Dalek-class frigate maintained a communication line with something outside the system. Depending on how savvy the slicers were for the Republic and how good their equipment was, they might have noticed the connection though would not have been able to hack into it. While it would have helped the Empire to gain the assistance of the rest of the galaxy against Omni, there was still an underlining sense of distrust over whether or not this secret invitation was a trap.

On the Dalek-class Frigate, there was a conference room usually for important strategic meetings among the ship's officers. Darth Apparatus sat at the head of the conference table. Multiple hologram projectors circled around. When the summit began, the appearance of each ambassador given permission to speak lit up the darkened conference room.

To the other ambassadors, Darth Apparatus would have appeared as a dark-blue, hooded figure. His identity would not have been able to be discerned by the ambassadors as his face was hidden by shadows. Those that were highly attuned to the Force might have sensed something strange about Darth Apparatus.

For the time being, the Sith Lord had audio from the Dalek-class Frigate's conference room muted. This allowed other Sith that journeyed with him, which were hidden from the view of other ambassadors, to speak their opinion without being heard or seen by the other delegates, at least for now.

As the Chancellor and other ambassadors spoke, Darth Apparatus silently listened. He quietly evaluated what each member said during this summit, trying to gauge what they were all thinking and what they truly wanted.

Kodiak wasn't sure if what he said was true but if it was they needed to act. "How long did it take to fall? Maybe finding out these small details can help us find some kind of weakness."

Flint ignored all questions asked of him and simply looked down at the console before him. Then he cut off the signal to the one: Vladimir Tedesky and his bodyguard. No longer would the simple Padawan be allowed to contribute to the meeting.

"The representative Vladimir Tedesky has been removed from this meeting. Please continue."

Valik

Professor of Alchemy
Valik waited patiently in the Conference Room of the Dalek Class Imperial Frigate. It was cleverly hidden in a gas giant of the Kuat System, just close enough to make contact with the Empire and just far enough from Kuat to where they could read and give signals, but not be detected visually or with sensors due to the Gas Giant's interference. He was invited to this meeting not because of talent with the Force, but because of his mind.

Valik felt a lot of pressure because of this. The nanite design of Omni's droids heavily lowered the efficiency of Sith Lightning. The labs on Dromund Kaas were compromised. He was being looked upon by the more knowledgeable of the Sith to create an effective weapon to exterminate the threat. He had to deal with limited resources and an enemy unlike any the Galaxy had ever seen before. The nanites were so adaptable, the infection so spreadable, that it their army seemed to number in the trillions, and was always growing. They could be fighting half of galaxy and all it's droids if they didn't hurry.

And Darth Apparatus knew all of this, and the other summit leaders likely did too. Whatever consensus the summit reached, they would have to act quick. Eager to see what 'solutions' the other parties came up with, he turned his attention to the Holoscreen and began recording the event's audio on his datapad.

Moff Sergio Hammerstein stood to the right behind Lord Apparatus, his cane held out before him as he leaned back against the cool durasteel wall behind him for support. He didn't like this, coming to a summit where the Republic's leaders and that of the other galactic factions would be as well. It didn't sit right in his gut, but maybe that was just his uneasiness about being so close to enemy territory while his sector that he was supposed to be governing was in the hands of the droids. He flipped his hair over to the right of his head to get it out of his face as he glanced at all of the holographic leaders at the summit and sighed. He supposed that this was the best course of action for everyone, including the Sith Empire. "I don't like this, my Lord. Working with our sworn enemies, doesn't sit right in my gut..."

CEO's Chamber - KDY Council Sector

Sitting at the head of a large circular table surrounding a the holoprojected image of the meeting, the Kuati Sovereign sat quietly listening to the proceedings. This new threat to the galaxy, Omni, had taken them all by surprise and even despite major advances in technology this seemingly ancient intelligence had thwarted it all. Given the vast display of media coverage of Omni's effect on not only electronic awareness, but sentient as well, it was cause for great concern. Even for an incognito Sith Master.

Still, she couldn't afford to play cards or take sides in this all-encompassing battle against the greater evil. She had to save face and remain the person most needed - Lady Lorelei, CEO of the Kuati Drive Yards.

"Commander Pherson, if you please," Lorelei sat forward, "I am Lady Lorelei Shamalain, CEO of the Kuati Drive Yards and Sovereign of the Kuati Council. I'm still receiving intell on the recorded incidents and I am troubled, nigh baffled at the severity of how quickly the influence of Omni has spread. You have asked for support and I fully intend to offer as much as I can, but I must raise my concern as to how effective ships and technology will be against an entity that can, conceivably, dominate everything that it comes in contact with. I ask anyone that has already made direct contact to offer any sort of advice on what we can do to arm ourselves against the pull of Omni. I have at my disposal brilliant minds and the means to craft and create, so please give them something to work with."

Upon Sergio's comment, Darth Apparatus turned his head slightly back to the Moff. Not even the Darth's own mask could been seen through the shadow that his hood placed over his head.

"T̶hen͞ do ̢n͞o̡t speak̶," commanded Darth Apparatus, dissatisfied by Sergio, "I̸ ̛h̛av̛e utílized҉ my ̢o̴wn̛ ȩn̕émies͟ f̨oŕ f͏ar l̢o͝nger thąn͠ y͠o̷u̴ ͟h̷av̵e ̕l̷i͝ved."

For the ambassadors on the other line of the hologram, they would have just seen Darth Apparatus turn toward something hidden from view during Lorelai's speech. Due to his obscured faced and the muted audio, they would not have heard anything or have been able to guess what was said.

The Jedi Order

Bridge of The Teferi

Standing on top of the holopad in the center of the Bridge of the Antarian-Class Frigate, the Jedi GrandMaster waited for his cue to activate it. Fitted in his standard wear for missions, the well built human stood at parade rest. His head staring at the floor and at his boots, his senses feverishly working to get a feel for the mass of life around him. He had chanced a few glances out of the viewports earlier and had been absolutely shocked at the sheer size and scope of this fleet. The threat that Omni posed seem to be felt by all groups and factions within the galaxy. The GrandMaster's field of responsibility extended outwards and he felt life everywhere. The eternal emotions of love, hate, desperation, and fear permeated the Force, but so did hope and that made Darron smile to himself.

Yet as he pushed his senses further, he could even feel those touched by the darkside. The Sith have come as well? What about Ashin? Darron pushed further, but to no avail he couldn't find her Force signature in the sea of them surrounding the Jedi Frigate. Where are you? A galactic threat has presented itself and you aren't here at the War Council to discuss this? Questions buzzed through his mind as he pulled his focus back to the bridge and he nodded to all the Jedi who were attentively standing around, waiting for the holo-conference to start. The tension was building in the room as all were clearly waiting impatiently, all except Darron. He understood all the security checks that needed to be passed, most on the bridge had made it off world before the full wrath of Omni had come. The GrandMaster was one of the last off world, and he had Teferi Efreet's holocron, if anyone knew this threat it was Master Wraith.
A thumbs up was registered as more than a dozen figures materialized around the bridge around the GrandMaster.

After waiting a while as a good bit of the leaders present spoke, Darron cleared his throat and raised his head to make his face visible.

"As GrandMaster of the Jedi, I pledge my Order will go hand and hand with the Republic in this crisis. Our number one priority is the protection of all sentient life, and everyone under our banner will fight to rid the galaxy of Omni. From the lowest Padawan, to myself, we will defend all sentient life and gladly lay our lives down to help stop this threat. We failed in being a shield for the Republic in losing Coruscant, but I promise we can be the tip of the spear, and we will work hand and hand with the Sith to stop this threat. I will drop all philosophical differences for this threat."

The gasps on the bridge were quite audible as he brushed some of his golden locks out of his face.

"I have perused Teferri Efreet's holocron, my predecessor, for those who don't know. He fought this threat centuries ago and stopped it, and I stayed behind on Coruscant to see my Order and all those I could protect to safety. I'm not here to argue, or bring up old conflicts. The threat we face is that of extinction, I think old differences can be tabled until Omni is shut down." Blue eyes scanned the images of all those in attendance before he continued. "No hacking attack, will work. EMP strikes will do us as much damage to us as it will to the A.I. I humbly suggest strikes on servers once we can locate them, and unconventional tactics. This machine has had access to all of our records for centuries, it knows us better than ourselves."

Pausing more to catch his breath than for drama, Darron finished.

"It's time to stop thinking with conventional wisdom, and try some unorthodox strategies."

At the mention of Teferi Efreet, Darth Apparatus sharply turned his shadow of a head toward Darron Wraith's holoprojection. It seemed as if Darron managed to get useful information from the dead Grandmaster. Darth Apparatus knew, though, that he should have expected his former nemesis's name to be dropped during this summit.

A hand hovered over the button to unmute the Sith Lord, as if he had something on the top of his mind to say. Yet, after a couple seconds, the Darth rested his hand on the armrest without saying anything - allowing the other delegates more time to give their opinions.

Rosa slipped onto the bridge silently, a datapad in her hand and great shadows under her eyes. None of them had really managed to sleep. Ever since abandoning Coruscant they had all been working constantly to gether as much information as she could. Teferi's holocron had at least given them some insight to Omni but it wasn't enough. Not to combat them with. This required so much more than what he had given. She stood behind Darron, out of the holo projector's range listening to the meeting, pride swelling at how Darron conducted himself.

The decision to merge with the sith did not surprise her. It made sense to do so. So many of the Sith were of a age that they could have knowledge of Omni. While they were constantly at war, this was a galactic threat. Personal differences could be put aside for the survival of the galaxy, failure to unite would result in their destruction. She pondered the Kuati woman's words, she was right, technology was perhaps not the best way forward, but then there were ships in this galaxy that were not technological, a race who believed technology was an abomination.

You would have thought, of all people the Vong would have shown their faces. We could use their ships against Omni. she mused to Darron before looking down at the datapad in her hand once more and taking a deep breath. If Darron was going to allow this mission he would need to let her go without him, his presence was needed here.

We need more intelligence on Omni before we can come up with a combat response. The only race I know that is likely to have any records of such a monstrosity is the rakatan's. Someone could go to Rakata Prime and scout their ruined temples for records....or memories. Lehon will have something.

Mandalorian Flagship Cruiser

Verz had been observing the other delegates, helmet off, holding his tongue. He had been appointed by the Mandalore to speak at this counsel, since Emberli was busy on Mandalore. He knew that the other delegates would want something besides direct combat as a solution. Non Mandos always did. But this was a new threat. New tactics would be needed. He looked at the flickering forms of the others, considering what to say.

"I believe the best course of action is as simple as it is systematic. We first locate the droid foundries with stealth ships. We invade those worlds that have foundries producing Omni's droids, and destroy them with orbital bombardment. As we do this, less resistance will be offered up by the next world, as they will have no reinforcements. We continue this until only the handful of worlds without foundries remain. Then we launch a full scale invasion of occupied worlds. Quick, efficient, and deadly."

Valik

Professor of Alchemy
Valik shrugged at the Mandalorian's suggestion. The man was obviously a warrior and not a scientist. How 'quick and efficient' did he think conducting a blind search for droid factories would be? Valik doubted there even was a 'factory', at least none in the sense most people thought. They weren't dealing with an army of droids, they were dealing with an army of microdroids, able to pair up or split up to take any form or function they desired. And, judging by how the other droids and the Grand Vizier acted, could also infect any other droid, sentient, and probably beast/semi-sentient they wanted. Tatooine could be dealing with Krayt Dragons, Onderon Drexl's, Korriban Terantateks, Hoth Wampas, and that was only the tip of all of the deadly beasts in the galaxy. Staying silent and focusing his mind, Valik began to send a message to the Sith Representative @[member="Darth Apparatus"] so as to maintain his image of solitude.

"My Lord, that won't work. We're dealing with billions of trillions of microdroids who can control droids and organic beings. Even if we take out every 'factory' they could still wage war by controlling every organic they found." Appartatus might have already known that, and probably did as he seemed to have some prior knowledge of Omni, but Valik couldn't let such foolish ideas influence the direction of the Empire

Flint remained behind his helmet. Unmoving. A statue.

It appeared people wanted different things. This was puzzling. And so far nobody had offered anything about Omni. Just his minions. That wasn't good. Now. It appeared Teferi had killed it once? But not for good. So Flint now had to consider the fact that if Teferi couldn't kill it? ...Maybe he couldn't kill it either. Maybe, you don't kill it. You just put it back to sleep. Hmm. Intel was sparse. This was looking rough.

The Hutts hadn't spoken yet. The Shadows seemed to want the last word. So Flint remained a statue. It wasn't time yet.
