A clean slate

With a kind of playful glare at Sabrina, I let the fires on me die down, and bared my fangs in another grin. My hand went out, and I fumbled with the buttons on the practice lightsaber until the blue blade finally activated.

"Whyever would I go easy on you? I'm unfamiliar with a lightsaber, too. But a weapon does not a fighter make. Hit me with your best shot."

Hakora swung his saber through the air a few times, still not understanding the weight and then he charged in. His movements were flawless and showed skill with a sword, but when he went in for a slash the weapon shot of his hand, missing the apprentice and going to a wall to stick in it. Hakora's eyes widened, but to not lose ground he dropped down into a powerful sweep Kim in hopes to take him by surprise.

She looked at both, they held there lightsaber wrong. She was going to have to teach them, stop she said a single word to make them stop. Stand side by side, and imagine in front of you a pyramid. The point of the saber, is the point of the pyramid. To block an incoming attack you must push the incoming attack, to edge of that pyramid thus it will pass your body. This is not full proof as, they may angle their attack. So to help with your reaction time, take a step back. She took a deep breath, and to attack look for easy open points, hands are good for this. She then sat back in her seat, and then waited for them to start again.

Hakora stopped his kick before connection. He sighed, he didn't understand this weapon and wasn't sure why someone who wasn't a jedi or sith and had no connection to the force needed a lightsaber. He walked over and ripped his lightsaber out of the wall and then he saw something out of the corner of his eye. It looked like a lightsaber with a much longer handle. He shut off his current one and grabbed the other one. It had two buttons so he ignited the saber and it had double blades. Unlike the single saber, this one had weight and felt like holding a wooden staff. Hakora smiled, maybe he could figure this one out. He windmilled it a bit to get familiar with it and smiled. "This will work nicely." He walked back over to the apprentice and held the front blade up like a pyramid. "Now, hopefully I don't kill myself with his one."

I looked, from Sabrina to the white-haired guy, and back to the lightsaber. I gritted my teeth with slightly unwonted venom at the glowing blade, and deactivated it. With a look around, I saw a weapon like the one my sparring partner had just picked up. Grinning, I called it to my hand, and only hit one of the two buttons that were on it. It was like handling a long-handled sword.

"Gotta admit, I'm worried I'll accidentally stab myself with the end that's off. But the other one was too short."

I held the weapon like a two-handed sword, and swung it up into a guard position.

"Fun."

Hakora's eyes narrowed as he brouth down his high guard and swung his right foot around and behind his body as it gained momentum and brought it back for a kick to the man's head with more speed than force. As he was spinning he had spun his light saber and used that added momentum to send a stab at the man's shoulder after the kick. Upon refelction, this was all quite out of character for the old Hakora Cinthra. He would never join the Pheonix if he had known he was really join Sith who wanted to purify the Sith instead of kill them off, but it seemed Hakora Rhapsodos was ether blind to serving the Sith or he didn't care. All that mattered now was this fight and figuring out how this weapon worked.

My head moved out of the way, as the kick whooshed past it. A toothy grin formed on my face as the combined weight of both my arms stopped the white-haired guy's weapon just before it would have burned me.

"Oh, you're enjoying this."

Pushing his blade away, I swept around to disengage it and try to catch him across the chest with the point of my weapon.

She sat back and watched them duel, she knew it would be soon time to knight mal. As soon as he learned to weild a lightsaber. She watched as they traded blows, and wonder if she should send for [member="Dux Pontus"], to truly show them how it was done. She wonder if she did, if they had enough bacta for them both.

Hakora was very impressed that none of his attacks hit, but was taken off gaurd and slashed acrossed the chest. Flash. Hakora's mind became a flood of knowledge, Juyo, coming from no where, when did he learn it? Hakora was confused, but the lightsaber now felt right and Juyo made sense. Hakora then began a quick figure 8 windmill that was lashing at Mal from the bottom to the top and top to the bottom over and over. Hakora then relented only to send another scorpian kick aimed at Mal's chest with more power this time. Hakora's chest was on fire, but something in his mind had cracked, would it continue?

Damn! Those practice sabers burned. Not a sensation I was used to. As my body worked overtime to heat and cauterize the slash mark, I leapt back, away from the white-haired guy's flashy staff technique.

"Frak. I'm glad you're not aiming to kill. These glow sticks are lighter than anything I can use."

When the kick came flying at me, I grabbed onto the leg, probably messing with a few of those tiny little bones in my wrist, and pulled. If it went right, the other trainee would literally come flying into my fist, and possibly the lightsaber clenched in it. No amount of sudden improvement could negate the fact that I was definitely bigger and physically stronger, here.

Hakora utilized the grabbing of his leg and before Mal could fully pull him Hakora rotated his body into a barrel roll using his grabbed leg as a pivot point and spun his other leg up and aimed at Mal's head. Hakora would fall and dodge the punch to land in a crouched position where he would use the lightsaber to slash at his legs in a sweeping motion. Hakora had no idea where this new found style of Juyo was coming from or why he could react so quickly as he had no memory of being Echani ether.

I grinned as the white-haired guy dropped towards my legs. The easiest way to give me an advantage. Leaping up, I avoided the lightsaber slash at my legs and put my hand on his shoulder. Almost casually, I flipped over his back, using him as leverage. The weight itself should have been enough to knock the guy on his face. I didn't need to attack again. That woul be overkill.

(Nope, you still ignored the first move and misread the second. In order this time:
1. You grabbed Hakora's right leg that was performing a side scorpian kick.
2. Hakora's left leg pushes Hakora into a barrel roll.
3. Hakora's left leg swings at Mal's head.
4. The momentum breaks your grip and Hakora spins to the ground.
5. Hakora spins to sweep kick you and is too low for you to grab his shoulder and flip over him.

On that, you both auto grabbed Hakora's foot and in that last post auto grabbed his shoulder. Auto moves are considered God mods and make people very angry. I suggest avoiding auto anything unless it is in direct things like using the force to grab a bolder and throwing it.)
