So I'm here to help with the admin and design stages of this, but I won't have time to actively run or push the event along. Which is probably what you guys want to hear anyway.

So feel free to bring in whichever staff or members you need whenever you need them.

I only ask that you consult me with what changes you need on the board itself.

Now, the main purpose of this thread is a caution based on experience.

I learned a lot of things from Omega, and the best one was people generally have a really short attention span!
Therefore I simply offer this advice and then I'll leave you to it:

• Keep the story easily understood - too many of our previous efforts have put great efforts into backstories and settings at the cost of confusing the members.
• Give something for people to do outside of the big threads. Some people won't join the big ones because they get left behind. Work on getting unofficial threads involved better than I did perhaps.
• If you're going to have fleeting, pvp etc, split them into different threads. Having them submerged in a giant thread will make it harder to keep up.
• Get reliable people to help you, and try and ensure they stick.
• Don't over extend yourselves. Be careful you don't sign up for doing things you can't follow through on. Don't promise map updates or daily posts if you can't do it.

It's a big job, but I'm sure you guys will do great.
