A Captains Paradise

RIP Carlyle Rausgeber

"It's all been bloody marvellous..."
He gently massaged her head tails, and noted her reaction with an amused smile. "No, unfortunately not. My father was a bureaucrat in Dosuun's media, and my mother was a mid level worker at the shipyards." he said, "I had a priviledged, and rather, well, spoilt upbringing." he admited, "I grew up, wishing for something to do, something to strive for. And when the First Order took over, I was overjoyed with something to do. Some greater goal to acheive."

"How did you-ah, frotz. I can't do this anymore", Zagara groaned as she stretched her head back a little and rolled her shoulders before looking at Carlyle with brows furrowed and hissing at him. "You know, if you really wanted it, all you had to do was ask." She then shook her head, getting his hands off her headtails before she sighed with a bowing of the head, and then looked back up at him. "You knew about the lekku, didn't you?", she snapped as she laughed and then punched him in the face with a right hook, knocking him down onto the pillows before getting up on top of him and sitting on him. Then grabbing his singlet, she pulled him upward as she leaned forward and downward a bit. "You know, I've still got my old slave's shock collar in my bag. I keep it so I never forget all the bad things I've been through, but I've got a few ideas for tonight.."

"It's all been bloody marvellous..."
Carlyle woke with an unfamilliar headache, what in the blazes had happened last night? There was a strange tangy sensation nawing away at his throat, which he gripped. Kark, that stung. He opened his eyes and immediately shut them. The bright light of mid morning burned. He shook his head, and rolled over in the bed till he felt something warm. He wrapped his arms around it, siddling up to it. It was then, he realized what was wrong. Who was this? He opened his eyes, and saw the firey red leeku, and tried not to wake her with his expression of surprise. There was a Twi'lek in his bed. What the Kark had happened? Carlyle searched the room, it was a mess. His fatigues were strewn all over the floor in a messy manner, and was being stained by a brown bottle, which slowly dribbled onto the plain grey trousers. That was probably the source of discomfort. Booze. And what had he done with her? He could feel himself begin to tense. What did he do? What could he say? He'd never been forced to deal with this before.

Zagara rolled around in bed a bit longer, before slowly coming to, albeit with a massive hangover. Ugh. She held her head as she turned around to face Carlyle, slowly opening her eyes and then grinning. "Well", she began, "I guess I shouldn't judge books by their covers, as the saying goes", she jested as she stuck her tongue out, letting her head rest on the naval officer's chest - still half asleep.

"I uh, I don't mean to be rude, but uh, I don't remember anything from last night." he said curtly, "Would you at all mind running me through what happened? Or will I have to deduct this?" he asked, gently running a hand down cheek, slowly and gently caressing it. Whatever they'd done must have been exhausting. He felt tired as hell.

She shook her head sleepily, her eyes barely open as she yawned and lazily replied, "Deduce all you want, Carlyle. You know what happened." And with a small giggle, she rolled off the side of the bed and got back on her feet, shamelessly standing bare-bodied in front of the human and almost taunting with her smug face. "Shame you won't remember it then, uncle. It was a privilege few have been blessed with." She stuck her tongue out, threw his trousers at him after picking it up from the floor and walked off to the shower.

"It's all been bloody marvellous..."
Carlyle pulled them on and looked at her, "So, where does this leave us?" he called "Is this one of those things where we never see each other again?" he asked, before turning and sliding into his singlet. The booze that had been left fermenting on his top left an ugly brown smear on his top. He groaned, this was the bane of any good, and or proper officer.

"Your call", she yelled from the shower. "I doubt you're going to be here forever though, right?"

Zagara then stepped out of the shower with her scoundrel's jacket turned inside out and wrapped around her torso. "Then again, neither will I", she continued as she approached him while patting her headtails down with a sponge. "This is unexpected, really. I was planning to go dark about a week from now. Plans of my own, you know?"

"Look, it doesn't feel right, just leaving you all on your lonesome like that," He said, sitting in one of the rooms armchairs, "Particularly after the nice, buzzed feeling you provided me. So, how about we meet again, later today. Maybe I take you out for dinner, lunch or something?" he asked, looking at his watch, it was eleven in the morning now. "How does that sound?"

Zagara chuckled as she started to put her clothes on again and wring her jacket to drain it of the water it soaked up from earlier. "So you do know how to treat a girl", she jested as she shook her head. "Dinner's good. I just have to sort out some business before it gets too late in the day."

"Word of advice though?", she added with a smile as she pulled her workman's tights up. "From a scoundrel to a drunk, don't get too attached." She then sighed and softly smiled.

"You're the only person in this place who I don't think would eat me." he said, "Plus, as I said earlier, cash to splash." he smiled, "Now, would you like me to pick you up from your place of work? Or shall we rendezvous somewhere else, because, to be perfectly frank. I don't really care either or." he said, stretching and letting out an uncharateristically loud yawn.
