- 30 minute oxygen supply standard

The list of demands the Alliance presented to MandalMotors was long, but the result was a suit of combat armor that could adapt to nearly any situation. Wearers could keep in close contact with their squad using the inbuilt communications package and squad leaders could keep an extra close eye on their troops even in the midst of a frantic battle with assistance from the suit's AI support. A light shield generator can protect the wearer from glancing blows or soften the impact of more solid impacts. A full vacuum seal, air supply and magnetic boots allow the wearer to operate even on the hull of spacecraft.
Strengths:
- Extreme modularity.
- To allow fitting of modular plate sections, the gaps between the armor plates are slightly wider than normal, increasing the chance of a damaging strike hitting the underlayer directly as opposed to an armored plate.
- Damage to the power pack located in the small of the back will cut function to the armor's systems.
The Adaptable Combat Armor System was commissioned by the Galactic Alliance to provide a more modular armor system to meet the variable needs of it's special forces operators. In response to this challenge, Mandalmotors presented the first generation of the A.C.A.S., which was rejected by the GA amid claims of the initial Durasteel construction being too heavy. In response, Mandalmotors resigned the armor to utilize lighter weight materials, which lead to a noticeable price and production time difference. The GA however accepted this and ordered a limited production of the armor and distributed it to several small units for field testing.
