"I'd lost myself in the Abyss of some-one else's Tyranny... Again." - Cassandra Giovanni.
Orphen had been lost in the ever deepening caverns of his work for some time of late, he had been holed up in a public droid facility owned by his master, attempting to create the ultimate combat droid under her careful and stalwart gaze. In the last few weeks Orphen had been working with some of the grandest minds Aurora industries had to muster in the creation of the Droid's engine, engineered from star-ship hyper-matter engines, it alone would be required to power the machine due to the weaponry they had intended to assemble with the automaton. Though, there had been a pain beating in tandem with the rhythm of the young Jedi's heart, a love that he hadn't seen in some time... something wasn't right about her absence. She hadn't said word, and there had been no mention of her on holonet. The young Epicanthix had highly doubted that he and Kitty were over, but, as the days grew on, he could only picture the mysterious figure of her father Darth Ferus looming over her fragile frame... The Ache would not desist.
The Fear Embedded....
...The Anxiety ingrained in his mind.
The halls were calming down, the machinery and experimental technology was powering down as the hours of the day went on, Orphen was alert, but focused on his work, the facility was within a small town where it provided a lot of work for the people and the community. The Jedi wore his usual raiment, looking more like a mercenary than a Jedi knight. He wore his basic scientific data visor and a long red coat, six Pyraemon discs on the interior up his spine. Cross belted holsters hung on his hips with a light ray shield as a buckle, each of them holding a single holster for his Valor pistols, while his S-5's were strapped to the outside of his thighs. His unique light-sabers, which looked more like sword hilts, lay behind him on the small of his back. Not to mention the DCD on his arm, lending him the aid of Alpha for his scientific purposes. Icons of the rest of his equipment he had made like the Leo, the Erebus Platform and his Aethim gauntlet were scattered around his work-space.
The Jedi wasn't prepared for a fight, but, he wasn't unarmed... a Jedi always had to be ready... to some extent. Though the workings were therapeutic and meditative.
he could never have known the darkness which was coming towards him from the shadows...
What would come next...
would be hell...
