Description: The A’den, which translates as wrath or rage, are vessels based on the design of the ancient Kyramud-type battleship of the old Mandalorian Empire. Unlike its antiquated relative, the A’den are built using all of the latest technology. The emphasis of this craft was the armor and it was built to withstand a beating.
The ship’s purpose is as a defensive measure, to be the shield in an assault or retreat, taking the beating that other ships might not handle as well. Its systems are built a redundantly so as to make failure more difficult and less likely to occur. The shields have been overlapped so as to create a generally more powerful barrier. The armor has been made particularly thick to make even a failure of shields less dangerous. They are intended to come between enemy vessels and friendly ones in order to create a buffer or to protect from enemy fire. It is further intended to be able to turn to allow a captain to keep a strongly shielded side towards the enemy at most times, however it not very fast because of this.
