APPEARANCE:

4ND-R0 outwardly resembles an old architect droid that were prominent in the Old Republic Era. His once shiny, chromium plating has since been worn from years of expeditions into the elements. He stands around 1.86 meters high, and yellow-orange optics that seem to have a sort of wisdom behind them.

BIOGRAPHY:

4ND-R0 began life as a Cybot Galactica 3PO model protocol droid, being built over sixty years ago. He was purchased by an archaeology professor from Naboo's Royal House of Learning, with the intent of becoming the professor's assistant. However, it became readily apparent that the droid's original, 3PO body was rather clumsy and ineffecient for the Professor's purposes. Using the vast resources at hand, the professor transferred the protocol droid's programming into the body of a replica architect droid, similar to the famous Professor Huyang of the Jedi Order. IN addition to a new body, the droid's owner had colleagues in the field of droid programming upgrade his robotic assistant's own capacity to store knowledge.

For many years, Four-En was the professor's faithful assistant, often going out into the field and evaluating their finds for scientific reasearch. However, humans do not have the life span of their droid counterparts. The professor eventually became old, frail, and without heirs. In his final will and testament, the droid's master left what possessions he had to Four-En and gave the droid manumission. That is to say, freedom. With the professor's passing, the droid kept up the love of archaeology and science. He now travels across the galaxy, testing his hypotheses and appraising relics for others.
