40 oz to Freedom

Beyond taking her out it seemed as if he was willing to go dress shopping with her or at least take her anywhere she wished to go shopping. It would fun to get his reaction to what she tried on however Ana wanted to be her final choice to be a surprise. Oh, I have no doubt it would turn heads. I bet it would scare people as well worried that I was there on business after the bounty on their head." She laughed a little at the thought and shook her head. I'm sure Onderon will have something that I will love especially since it's the capital." If any place would have the most fashionable dresses it would be the capital after all, that was where the money was. Did you want to go dress shopping with me as well?" She was teasing him of course. Ana wasn't going to make him do that.

Picking up the next card she placed it next to her other card reviling a 9. This new addition gave her a grand total now of 13. Glancing down to her hand Ana knew she needed to play something or it was possible she would go bust next round. Pulling her -6 from her hand Ana placed it down in front of her before tapping the table to signify the end of her turn. This new addition brought her total down to a manageable 7. "Your turn," she smiled.

The objective of this game now in Ana's eyes was to have fun playing and chatting with him. If she didn't, it wasn't the end of the world by any stretch of the imagination. This game was less intense than the ones she played at him and she rather liked that aspect.

He chuckled slightly as she described how people would react. " That's a distinct possibility, but with the state of affairs in the galaxy these days, who's to say exactly what someone would do. I bet at least one person would get up and run, thinking you were after them" He was quite sure that Onderon would have something she would love to wear, and look amazing wearing it. The prospect of spending hours in a store while she tried on dress after dress didn't appeal to him at all, but the chance to spend more time with her sure did. She was an interesting mix of personalities, on one side she was the typical female and he loved that; but on the other she was a seasoned warrior, a survivor of countless battles, and that was to be respected and honored. " Ana, I would love to spend as much time with you as I possibly can, but I think i'll pass on the dress shopping. Besides if I see what you pick out, then you miss the chance to see my reaction the first time I see you in it." Flirting was a game he was well versed in, it was all of the things that came after flirting that he had always had problems with. Relationships never were my strong point, but then if ?I don't try then I'll never know when I find the right one.

He picked up the next card from the deck and shrugged as he placed it on the table, it was a 5 giving him a total of 11 on the table. He took a card from his hand , a -1 and put int down, lowering his total showing number to 10. He gave a coy smile and glanced back up at [member="Anastasia Rade"]. He wasn't sure how the game would end, but he was confident in the outcome. He was starting to get the feeling that no matter who won the hand, they would be seeing more of each other. That was an outcome he was more than happy to deal with.

He put his cards down on the table and leaned back in the chair, " You were talking about your brother earlier, have you two managed to stay close?" He was curious about her life, and he knew that to know her he would need to know about her relationship with her family. Mandolorians had a strong connection to family, and he knew it would only be a matter of time before he met hers, even if it was only for the promised tour she was going to take him on.

"Good point, I would hate to ruin the surprise. I promise you won't be disappointed," she smiled with a wink. Part of the fun of getting all dressed up was seeing his reaction and twirling about a few times for him before the date even begun. She was sure that she could find something to wear that would leave him speechless.

Years ago, before he was Manda'lor, Az had adopted Ana as his sister after rescuing her from the Graug slave pits. Ana had two biological brothers whom she had tried to connect with. It had gone horribly wrong so she let them be. "Yes, we are very close. Even though he is very busy we still make a point of it to stay in contact. When I'm at home he will actually block out time to have lunch with me every other week to just catch up." It was clear that even now the two were close. Ana's elder brother was very protective of her as he didn't want to see his sister hurt again. Azrael did scare potential suitors away which she knew was never the intention. He never would bring his Scythe and threaten someone on the first meeting. She knew her brother wanted nothing more than for Ana to find happiness and wouldn't get in the way of it.

Pulling a 5 off the deck she set it down in front of her which gave her a total of 14. Looking to her hand Ana shook her head as she saw that she had nothing that would actually help her. Tapping the table with her index finger she ended her turn in hopes for a low number next time.

Ana liked what she knew about him thus far. He was like the guys she hung out with now back home which she loved. It made him easy to talk to. Being in the Navy was a big plus as well it meant like her he had seen his fair share of wars. She wanted to get to know him better on a more personal level. "Have you always been in the Republic Navy? I remember you said you just got back in." She wondered what [member="Orick T'ane"] had been up to before the Navy. She doubted it was a sabbatical but she could be wrong which was why she asked. It sounded almost like he was there, had left and now was back again.

He laughed slightly at her thinking he would ever be disappointed. He was quite sure that she would look stunning in anything she wore, but he was sitting across from her when she put effort into it. He was well aware of how breathtaking she could be. " I'm not worried, I am a soldier, much like you. I can see the beauty in most things."

He nodded as she began talking about her brother, they were obviously close, and while he wasn't very close with any of his family, he did know that her culture was very family-centric. That made him smile slightly, her family was important to her, and if they continued to see each other he would make sure they were important to him. " When you take me on your tour, I'm going to meet him, aren't I?" he asks playfully, " I'm going to have to fight him to prove my worth, that's how it goes, doesn't it?" He was smiling the entire time he asked, hoping that she would understand that he was teasing her.

He pulled the next card off of the deck and smiled brightly, the card was another low number and he knew that it played into his favor. The 1 joined the other cards on his side of the table, giving him a favorable total of 12. He sighed deeply as he thought about how to answer the question she asked, this was the part that worried him about her. Would she understand how he had lived his life for the last few years, would she think he was what just about everyone else had. " Well, I spent four years as a Republic marine, almost a decade ago. that was my first stink with the Republic forces. When my term was over I signed on with a small mercenary company for a couple of years after that. Those yahoo's were about as bad as you could expect from crazy eyed mercs." He stopped for a minute, seemingly lost in a memory. " I had saved enough up at that point and I bought the Ranger. I figured that at least I would have the freedom to make my own decisions, control my own future. I spent a few months doing the legal freight hauler thing, but it didn't pay well at all, and it wasn't long before I started to smuggle here and there. The pay was much better and as long as I knew who to avoid, it wasn't really that dangerous either."

He shrugged a bit as he stopped talking and looked up at [member="Anastasia Rade"], " I wish there was a glorious heroic story tucked in there, but it's mostly just waking up and surviving every day."

She knew he had been joking but she rather liked the idea of him meeting Az during his tour of Mandalore. It would be nice to see how they got along with each other and what each thought of the other. She could only giggle at his second question as she imagined him and Azrael fighting over her as if she was a prize to be won. Ana had no doubt that [member="Orick T'ane"] could hold his own in a fight against Azrael. "In order to prove your worthy of me, you have to fight me." She smiled totally joking of course as she knew he had been. "You actually might meet him on your trip but if not him other members of my clan." She had a feeling he would like it there with them and the Mando's would accept him.

Turning her attention back to the game for a brief moment Ana noticed that he was doing rather well while she was either going to bust or have to stay soon if she was even going to have a chance at beating him. Pulling the next card she placed the 3 down in front of her which gave her a 17. In her hand she had a plus 4 but that would put her over and pressing her luck this time probably wasn't a good idea. "I'll stay," she turned to look at the dealer for perhaps the first time all game. It was now up to him to get higher and stay or bust.

She hadn't lived that type of lifestyle herself but Ana could understand why he had. The freedom to be your own person and make your own choices was a wonderful thing. She doubted the military gave much room for any of that but yet he had come back probably because it was a stable living if nothing else. "Makes sense, you wanted to do your own thing and see what was out there. Be free of the military and all it's red tape. Freedom is a wonderful thing but not when you struggle just to survive. You aren't living than, just surviving." She was lucky to have been brought into a culture that allowed her the freedom to be her own person as long as she followed the Resol'Nare which was easy enough. It allowed her to explore if she wished or take on a bounty if that suited her fancy. "You did what you had to in order to survive, nobody would fault you for that. I certainly won't as it's what I did for many years. I wasn't always a Mandalorian." Ana sighed looking to her cards for a second before looking back up to him. "I was brought up in slavery until my brother rescued me. I chose to stay with the Mandalorians and join." Az had given her the choice of leaving but she had wanted to stay with those whom she called family now.

He pretended to be shocked at her joke of having to fight her, " You did say you won a flame thrower in a card game, didn't you?" He joked, a smile broadly across his face. He wasn't honestly worried about meeting her brother, whoever he was. He was laid back and not like anyone else he knew in the Republic military. Moat of them were worried about appearance and standards, he only really cared about getting things done with the least lives lost as possible. " I would like to meet him, but I understand that he has responsibilities, and I won't even think of taking him away from them just for a handshake."

He saw [member="Anastasia Rade"]'s play and smiled, he was very confident now that he would pull out a victory here. The cards in his hands wouldn't hurt him any, but he decided to take a chance either way. He grabbed a a card off of the deck and frowned, he placed the 10 down, taking his total to 22, With a smile on his face he took one of the cards from his hand, a -6 and put it down next to the others. His total was now a 16, one short of hers. " You know, I have been thinking, that perhaps we could just call this game a draw." He flipped between the two cards in his hand and places a +1 down, matching her total of 17 on the table. The only other card he had in his hand was a +3, and he was completely fine with her not knowing that he could have beaten her. He smiled and said. " I'm done."

He nodded and frowned a bit at her story ,there were so many storied like that in the galaxy, it was a sad state that the galaxy found itself in. " I did survive, and one day I woke up and realized it that was all I was doing. As hard as it is to admit, Admiral Tyven showed me that. She may not have realized it but she asked me to help her, and after that I knew that I couldn't go back to just smuggling. " He sat back and wept his arms wide, " And here I am"

"I am glad that you did decide to stay, from the little bit I do know of you, the Mandolorians gained as much as you did when they rescued you, and I wouldn't have met you." He let the words stand as they were, wondering what was going on behind her eyes as he watched her.

She knew that if she asked Azrael to meet him that he would clear his schedule for such a meeting. Her brother always made time for what was important and that was family. If you didn't have someone to come home to what was all the fighting and wars worth? Ana fought for her home and to keep those she cared for safe. Even as the Manda'lor he always takes time out for family. I know he would want to meet you."

Ana watched as he played his last cards and the game ended in a draw which mean nobody won? "Does this mean we both win?" She smiled with a wink realizing that if that was the case she wouldn't need to ask him out on a date. He would have won that right via their original bet which she was more than happy to pay up on. It wasn't as if she hadn't been dreaming of said date the entire game and how it would all turn out. Ana could imagine them laughing and having a great time in each others company as they danced the night away. She was sure that sooner or later she would see him all dressed up in his uniform so as for her bet Ana wasn't too worried about it.

Nodding slightly listening intently as he spoke. They were both survivors in their own way but having done was was needed to survive. Even after she gained freedom Ana had struggled with this freedom.Until she woke up, smelled the coffee and decided she wanted more from her life. She wanted to find someone to love and perhaps even settle down with sure she had the clan but it wasn't the same. "Very true and I'm really happy to have met you." Had Ana never been a slave she wouldn't be the young woman she was today. Everything happened for a reason, even the bad things.

"Now that you don't have to live just to survive what do you want out of life?"Ana questioned as she turned slightly to look into his beautiful blue eyes her focus entirely on him. According to some book that she read eyes were the window to the soul. This question was probably best left to when they had left the dealers table but Ana had kind of had put him out of her mind.

[member="Orick T'ane"]

He smiled at the look on her face, she saw the draw and he couldn't help but feel that it was by far the best outcome for both of them. When she mentioned that her brother was Manda'lor though, that threw him for a loop. " Wait, you just said Malda'lor, as in the leader of all of the Mandolorians? The guy that fought off anyone that challenged him to leadership?" He was suddenly feeling a whole lot happier about not having to fight him. It made sense though to his rational mind. She wasn't the highest ranking member of their military that they could have sent, but who better to trust but your sister to have your best intentions in mind when meeting others. He shrugged and met her eyes, "What title he holds doesn't matter as much as him being your brother does."

He chuckled a bit, " Yes that means we both win. You get to see me all dressed to impress in my uniform and I get to take you on an evening of dinner and dancing. That is if you would still say yes." He could tell by the look in her eyes that she would gladly say yes to his offer of a date, but he wasn't the type of person to just assume that it was what she wanted. If she said no, then he would honor it and he would have to think of another way to get her to go out with him. He thought he heard the dealer short at his last statement, as if the Mon Cal was privy to her thoughts and was amused at how Orick was acting.

He blinked for a second, composing his thoughts and trying to figure out the right way to answer her question. " Honestly, the last time I was asked that, I said that I wanted a small house in the middle of nowhere; and someone who I could share ti with that I knew,without a doubt wasn't going to betray me for money." He held on to the card in his hand and tapped it aimlessly on the table as he continued. " but that was before I was who I am now, and that's made the answer much more complex. " I was born on Corellia, but I spent most of my life in space. I was never close to my parents and when they died i can't say that i knew them enough to even miss them. The idea of finding a place in the middle of nowhere is neat, but it's not real. I still want to fine the person that could lay next to me and love me for me, even when I get that odd whim to do something stupid." He tilted his head and returned her stare, " It's a bit sappy, but everyone has a dream."

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

She nodded and smiled at his question. Ana knew Mandalorians that would walk away when they heard that. They hadn't the guts to face her brother and tell him they wished to date his sister. Ana never paid much attention to them as she wouldn't want someone whom was a coward like that anyway. It didn't seem though that [member="Orick T'ane"] really minded all that much and thought much how she felt about the title. Az was her brother simple as that. Orick got brownie points for not being that phased by that not that he needed them as he did just fine on his own.

He didn't need to ask her if she was still interested but it was nice that he had. "Yes, I would love to go out with you for a night of dinner and dancing. It all sounds quite nice." It was all rather exciting, nobody had taken her out on a date like this before. She was looking forward to that and seeing him all dressed up in his uniform.

Ana's attention did not wavier from him as he spoke about what he wanted. It seemed to be what she was hoping to find as well. "I don't think your dream is sappy," she smiled pausing for a moment as she reached her hand over to gently take his. "I have always dreamed of finding my prince charming whom would whisk me off my feet. Someone whom would love me always no matter how hard things got. We would always have each other." She finished her eyes not leaving his and the noises made by the dealer ignored. All of her attention was placed on Orick. Ana kind of forgot they were still at the table not that it mattered anyway.

Her parents died when she was three so she never really knew them but from the Mandalorians she had seen love. The way her brother looked at his mate was something she hoped to find for herself. A nice little house in the middle of nowhere sounded nice too.

He sat there in silence for a few moments, she had just agreed to go out with him on a proper date, even though this was beginning to feel a bit like one the longer they were together. It had been a long time since he had felt this comfortable around anyone, his lifestyle over the last few years hadn't left much time to just stop and enjoy life. She was the sister of one of the most powerful beings alive, and while that was a terrifying prospect to think about, the longer he spent with her the less it mattered. Sometimes it's worth the risk, because the payoff is the kind that only comes along once in a lifetime.

He shifted his hand a bit so that her hand was able to take his fully, suddenly the idea of a little house in the middle of nowhere was all he could think of. She wanted to be whisked off of her feet and right now, in this one moment, that's all he wanted to do. He stood up and held out his arm for her, " I am sorry to say that I'm not a prince, and dancing isn't exactly whisking, but perhaps you will allow me to give it my best shot?" He smiled brightly and looked down at her.

She was the type of woman that he could very well see himself with, she was smart and funny and she had depth. Her years as a warrior had taught her things you can only learn when you were on the front lines. But she was also a skilled diplomat and one hell of a card player, add in a great sense of humor and stunning looks and you get the kind of woman that men go to war over.

[member="Anastasia Rade"]

The whole reason that she had come here had seemly faded away. It was just them enjoying each others company and having a good time. It was true, he was no real prince but that didn't mean he couldn't be her prince. She could see herself with him already in a little cottage in the middle of nowhere and they hadn't even kissed yet. Standing up she straightened her dress a little before taking his arm. Your doing a fine job of it alright," she smiled turning her head to look at him. It seemed thought that Ana wouldn't have to wait to dance the night away with him.

After leaving the dealer table the two would weave their way through other tables and machines to the stairs. These stairs would lead them up to the restaurant and the ballroom. As they turned to enter the ballroom they would find people paired off either on the side chatting or on the dance floor swaying to the music. Ana had never actually gone dancing before like this so it was both exciting and terrifying. The last thing she wanted to do was mess up and end up stepping on his toes which would be very embarrassing. A silly fear that she wouldn't let put a damper on this lovely evening. There was no way Ana but she would't miss the chance to dance with [member="Orick T'ane"] .

"Care to dance?" She turned to him with a smile. Ana doubted that he would say no but she didn't want to assume.

Orick was as happy as he had been in a long time, Ana had turned out to be so much more than just a casual conversation in a cantina. She was an amazing woman that had this charm about her that just blindsided him. The walk up to the second floor was a great experience for him, she was at his side and every one in the casino was watching her as she moved. " I do clean up pretty well, don't I?" He replied with a smile on his face. She had told him about how hard her life was and here she was now, hardly the same person that had been a slave. He could only imagine the inner strength needed to not only survive that experience but to come out of it stronger. He wanted to meet her brother just so he could shake his hand for that in itself.

He turned fully towards her and matched her smile with one of his own, " I would be honored to" he said as he took her right hand into his, and helped her get into the right positions for their dance, placing her left hand on his left shoulder. He moved his left hand behind her and placed it gently on her upper back, just below her shoulder blades. The material of the dress leaving just a small spot for his fingers to touch her bare skin. With a smile and a small nod he guides her back a bit, " Just follow my lead, it's really easy. Back then right, the forward the left." he was making sure he gave her the directions based on her front and back so it would be easier for her to follow. " And that's it. The rest is just enjoying the fact that we are here." He wasn't even paying attention to what music was being played, he just wanted to dance with her.

He was happy just gliding across the floor with [member="Anastasia Rade"] in his arms, everything seemed to fade away but the moment, one he knew he would remember for quite a while.

Back, right, forward, left. She repeated in her mind as she began moving following his lead. Instead of looking to her feet to ensure that she was perfect Ana's gaze was focused on him as they moved across the dance floor. It wasn't about being perfect in her steps even though they were easy. It was about them enjoying the evening together. This was not a night she would ever forget, there was something special about him. She wanted to make this night last as she was having the time of her life.

"I think I'm getting the hang of it," she smiled at him she continued the steps that he taught her. Ana's focus was on him so if she was swaying to the rhythm of the music or not she didn't know. All that she knew was that she was enjoying his touch and being in his arms. This night couldn't get any better than it was right now.

She had almost not come on this tour of the Republic due to some miscommunications. Ana was glad that things had cleared up and she had gotten the chance to come here not to meet with the politicians but to meet him. She was very much enjoying her time here and at the Republic. Ana definitely was going to have to take a return trip to the Republic to see [member="Orick T'ane"] . She didn't want this to be the last night she saw him. She could tell by the way he was looking back into her eyes that he too would want to see more of her. "I'm really enjoying my time here at the Republic," she smiled lightly as the song ended and the next one one began not that the young woman even noticed.

They flowed in their little space for what seemed like forever, the casino may have been gone, but they were there, lost in the simple dance together. he felt more than saw her improving in her motions, " Think of it like learning footwork for a fighting style., before you know it, your feet just go where they are supposed to go and your body follows." He chuckled at the idea of teaching her to dance while using martial arts training as a reference point, but if it made it easier for her then that's all that mattered.

He decided to change things up on her a bit as they continued to dance, " OK now just follow me and move where I move" he kept eye contact with [member="Anastasia Rade"] as he moved back and instead of moving right he went back again, and then again. Taking them back several steps before pulling her slightly towards him, forward for her, three full step, their bodies flowing across the dance floor as he guided them along, taking random steps to the left and the right. He held her firm as he turned and guided her along into a long looping turn across the dance floor, other couples moving slightly to avoid them as they moved. He wasn't worried about her ability to be perfect in her movements, and he almost swore that he held her up the one time she slipped a bit, but all he was hoping for was the continued look of excitement in her eyes.

He pulled back from her for a second, allowing his left hand to leave her back as he held her at arms length , her right hand firmly in his. The smile on his face was almost as bright as the lights of the casino as he stared at her, her hair was flowing behind her as she moved, the dress swaying slightly on her body, her face a picture of beauty. He pulled her back towards him quickly and grabbed her around the waist, pushing her towards the floor, and lowering her gently in his arms, once she was down just above waist height, he leaned over her, " I'm glad that you are, I'm looking forward to my time on Mandolore.....with you" He leaned in close allowing his lips to gently caress hers, before pulling her back up, a huge smile on his face.

The dancing she found was becoming easier she found the longer she did it. Ana had to agree with him that it was like a fighting style but more elegant and less violent. Dare she say she preferred dancing across the ballroom floor with him than being on the battlefield. As he changed up the moves Ana did her best to follow his free flowing style as he guided them across the floor. There were a few missteps and Ana had even almost fell once but it didn't seem to faze [member="Orick T'ane"] at all. He had instead just went with it and held her close as if protecting her from falling. She had no quarrels at all about being held tighter by him on the contrary she rather liked it. By the excitement that had never left her eyes it was clear that she was enjoying this freestyle dancing.

As he spun her out Ana lifted their hands up a little so that she could twirl around a few times. Her dress slightly lifting up away from her body as it spun along with her. Before he pulled her in Ana managed to get in three little twirls which had the crowds looking at her but all she could see was him. The blonde hair that had managed to fly into her face while she was turning fell behind her as she was dipped.

The kiss left Ana breathless and as he brought her back up words failed her as she looked back up in his eyes. His lips on her's had sent her heart all a flutter and it was as if fireworks had gone off. She had never felt like this before after a kiss. His simple quick kiss left her longing for more. Letting go of his hand Ana wrapped both her arms around his waist as she pulled him in closer for a longer more passionate kiss. Since she couldn't express verbally how he made her feel Ana decided to show him. Words couldn't properly describe how she felt at this moment.

He pulled her up and stepped back, his breath heavy from all of the dancing. she had looked like she had a wonderful time of it, and she seemed lost for words after the kiss. He smiled slightly from that, he wasn't sure he was going to kiss her at all during that dance, it had just been an impulse, once he was glad he had listened to. She may not have been a dancer but she had an innate grace to her that had made the trip around the ball room elegant and fun, his mind was racing at the idea of doing that again.

Her hands around his waist was a pleasant feeling and she had little trouble pulling him forward for the kiss, which he didn't expect at all. With her heels on she was only a bit shorter than he was, which he liked, and the fact that she wanted another kiss and decided to get one he liked also. She wasn't afraid to go after the things she wanted, which was refreshing, she was confident and comfortable with herself, all of which made her even more attractive. He wrapped his arms around her, his hands gently placed on her back. He felt her passion through the kiss, there were so many things going through his mind, most of them revolved around the idea that he was now the luckiest person he knew.

Their kiss was passion personified, two people unable to express through words the feelings that had blossomed in them. He could smell whatever she had used to clean her hair, he could feel her soft skin on his hands. She's in battle armor most of her day and she can still come out and look like a hovovid actress. their tongues touched and it set off another round of passion, the casino didn't exist, Alderaan didn't exist, nothing was real in that moment but [member="Anastasia Rade"], and he didn't want it to end.

Her head was spinning and Ana was completely wrapped up in this moment here with him. All her cares seemed far away and nothing else in the Galaxy mattered but him. There was nothing else in this galaxy but the two of them wrapped up in each other's loving embrace. It was all she wanted and Ana cared not that this was all taking place in the middle of the dance floor. People could go around them.

The kisses, as they continued, became more passionate after ever break. The breaks were short only long enough for each to catch their breath. Ana didn't want this feeling of pure bliss with him to end and it was clear neither did he. She wanted all of it here with him to last. The thought of having to go back crossed her mind once but she pushed it back not wanting to think about it. She at this very moment just wished to be with him. Ana wanted to be his.

As their lips parted once again Ana sighed happily leaning her head against his shoulder. Words were still failing her for the moment so instead of saying anything she lightly kissed his neck. "Your amazing," she softly stated kissing his neck again. Ana wanted to see more of him not just when he came to Mandalore. It didn't matter to her that they were worlds apart. She wanted this to be more than just a fairytale evening she fondly remembered. She wanted him.

"I want more than just tonight with you," she lightly smiled as she picked her head up to look back into his beautiful blue eyes. Ana believed and hoped that he wanted more too.

[member="Orick T'ane"]

He smiled down at her as the kiss finally broke, the look in her eyes was priceless. Her head rested on his shoulder and he chuckled at the soft kisses on his neck. He kept his hands on her back running his fingers along her bare skin, the soft skin and the closeness of her body making him wish for nothing else in the galaxy.

He smiled down at her as she old him how she felt about him. He couldn't help but be stunned. He was just a guy that had wandered into a cantina for a drink and found the most amazing woman he had ever encountered. and here she was calling him amazing, he really hoped he could live up to that.

He smiled down at [member="Anastasia Rade"] as she looked up at him. He gently placed a small kiss on her forehead as she spoke, " What kind of prince would I be if I didn't give you what you wanted." He knew it wouldn't be long now before he got to meet her brother, one of the most powerful people in the galaxy and asked if he could date his sister.

Ana's eyes searched his almost as if she was trying to search for the answers of what he wanted. The way he held her, touched her and kissed her spoke that he wanted the same thing. All of this seemed like a dream to her but here he was in the flesh. Seemingly just as enthralled with her as she was with him. It was amazing to think that a simple hello had turned into this.

All her life she had been used, abused and tossed to the side once she had no use. Even after being rescued Ana had been rejected by her brothers at first and than her first love. She had been taught to be strong and still wanted to believe that her prince would come.

She could tell that [member="Orick T'ane"] was different than those others. Sure he was very attractive and his kisses made her weak in the knees but there was so much more to him. The Captain had been through a lot of struggles in his life yet he hadn't let that get him down. He was real, didn't try to be anyone but himself or try to impress anyone. His views on the galaxy also seemed similar to hers plus he didn't see her culture as a bunch of savages. He was interested in visiting and learning more about her culture.

"Perhaps we should get out of the middle of the dance floor," she smiled up at him before she gave him a quick kiss. Even though it was her suggestion she didn't let go of him not right away at least. Ana was happy right here in his arms swaying to whatever was playing. She wasn't exactly sure what it was but it didn't much matter. "We could go somewhere more quiet and private unless you want to stay." Ana was happy either way stay here or go somewhere else where they could talk more. She didn't even know where that would be nor did it much matter to her.

they were in the middle of the dance floor standing closely and staring into each others eyes, the world seemed to flow around them as they stood there. No one seemed to want to bother the couple standing in the middle of the dance floor as the song changed again. Orick was happy just to stand there and be with her, the warrior princess he had found by accident. He sighed in contentment, unable to believe that this would ever end, that she would ever not be by his side.

She was turning out to be one of the most fascinating women he had ever met. She wasn't a dancer, but she moved with enough grace to pull it off. She wasn't a politician, but she could be a diplomat when it was needed. But she was all warrior, one that had survived long enough to have an impressive set of scuffs on her armor. He was very aware of her closeness to him, and he wanted to just stand there and get lost in her eyes. Even the simple act of breathing was intoxicating because every breath he took he could smell her.

She kissed him again and he almost dragged her back into a deep embrace, but he resisted the urge and nodded, " I believe that we can get a table without too much hassle, I think we have earned a bite to eat, as well as a little distance between us, or I fear we might never let go of each other." He held out his arm for [member="Anastasia Rade"], a gesture that he felt he may never tire of doing as he started to look around for someone to get them a table.
