Description:

The 2cm EBA-EGL was designed for one thing in mind: support. The weapon is light enough to field on the lighter and more agile Eisenwelten tanks, but packs enough power to bring down enemy light vehicles and to cut a swath through enemy infantry.

The weapon is a typical railgun and measures 4m in length. It features a 20 round box magazine, but can be fitted with a 120 round ammunition belt, though this is less common. The ammunition used in the weapon is standard, but can take a variety of ammunition types. The 2cm autocannon has an effective range of 2,500 meters with the average, practical rate of fire of 120-180 rounds per minute. However, in the hands of an experienced, elite crew with experience using belt fed ammunition in the weapon, rate of fire has been seen to rise to around 280-450 rounds per minute, though this is uncommon.

The weapon's weak points are fairly straightforward. The weapon, being automatic, can jam on occasion. It also requires more maintenance than a single-fire weapon. The cannon is effective against other light vehicles and enemy infantry, but see's a distinct lack of effectiveness against medium and heavy armor, though it can be used to damage external devices and sensors in a pinch.
