- Model: 2C1 "Sacred Incinerator" Superheavy Siege Gun
- Modularity: Can be mounted in certain ground vehicles
- Production: Semi-Unique.
- Material: Durasteel, Impervium, Tantalum Hafnium Carbide Alloy, Synthetic kyber crystal
- Classification: Siege, Anti-Orbit, Anti-Tank, and Anti-Walker Laser Cannon
- Size: Large, 50-meter barrel
- Weight: Very Heavy, 100 tons
- Ammunition Type: AH-50 disposable high-intensity power cell
- Ammunition Capacity: Extremely Small, a single shot burns through the AH-50 Power Cell
- Effective Range: Extreme
- Rate of Fire: High, the autoloader design allows for AH-50 to fire 30 times per minute
- Damage Output: Extreme
- Recoil: High, despite being a laser weapon, the sheer power means that it must be dug in first
- Boiling: the sheer firepower of the Sacred Incinerator is so great that when fired in the atmosphere it will boil away the water in the air. In the wake of the laser itself, extremely strong winds are generated as air rushes to fill the void it once occupied.
- Arcing Fire: thanks to the special configuration of the Synthetic kyber crystal and integrated targeting system, the Sacred Incinerator is capable of arcing its laser fire to hit targets not in direct line of sight. Though this arc is far less parabolic than solid-mass artillery shells.
- Extreme Range and accuracy: Designed to outrange counter-fire and strike starships in low orbit, the 2C1 is capable of hitting targets up to 4,000 Kilometers away with high accuracy thanks to its integrated targeting system that includes an enslaved Master-Com droid which constantly calculates millions of potential variables.
- Extreme Damage: Befitting a weapon of its size, the 2C1 is a siege weapon. Capable of crippling walkers and superheavy tanks or demolishing a fortified building block with a single shot, the 2C1 is built to cause maximum damage. It is often used in an engagement against starships in low orbit. Through uninterrupted attrition from dozens of salvos from multiple massed batteries the 2C1 is capable of severely degrading the shields of and badly damaging cruiser-class starships that foolishly decide to stay in the area.
- Mobility: The 2C1 is capable of being mounted on the US-152 Chasis where it can be deployed in the role of direct fire support for troops and anti-vehicle. However, this configuration lacks the elevation for anti-starship duties and the reduced space for surge protectors means that there is an even higher chance of misfire. Other variants however do enable the 2C1 to fire vertically, sacrificing armor to do so. This does enable the 2C1 to "shoot-and-scoot" against enemy starships.
- Misfire: with power, comes risk. The 2C1s deliberate overclocking means that it requires a large array of surge protectors to prevent misfire. However, to make this weapon economically practical and mobile these surge protectors have been kept to a bare minimum. Firing at full blast and maximum range carries an extremely high chance of overheating or misfiring. If the weapon overheats the entire barrel will be turned into molten slag after firing despite its material composition. The resulting heat is so extreme that even crew with protective equipment will suffer third-degree burns.
This is considered lucky.
A misfire from a total failure of the surge protectors can result in the high-intensity power cell rupturing, causing a localized miniature thermonuclear detonation that glasses anything in a radius of a hundred meters.
- Occupational hazard: The laser that the 2C1 fires is so intense that directly looking at it results in temporary blindness. The crew must keep their mouths open to prevent their eardrums from rupturing and cancer rates have been observed to skyrocket amongst artillerymen assigned to the 2C1.
- Ammunition: A single shot of the 2C1 can completely exhaust an AH-50 disposable high-intensity power cell and the power cell's large size often results in logistical difficulties in getting ammunition to gun batteries.
As the Chaos Pact expanded its control over the world of Herodor, it began to run into larger and larger bastions that halted their advance. Even after years of bombardment, these bulwarks refused to fall. The 2C1 "Sacred Incinerator" Superheavy Siege Gun was developed by modifying an XX-9 heavy turbolaser battery salvaged from a crashed star destroyer, overclocking it by placing a fragment of a Synthetic kyber crystal and placing it onto a mobile ground platform. It proved highly effective and after a week of constant bombardment, a battery of 2C1s was able to brute force a DSS-02 shield generator. However, this process resulted in constant misfires that caused thousands of artillerymen to be killed by their weapons. Another famous deployment is when hundreds of 2C1s were used to blast open a pass in a mountain range to outflank an enemy defense line. The 2C1 was further modified after the Chaos Pact conquered Herodor to be miniaturized and incorporate new surge protector technology imported from the Galaxy drastically reducing the chance of misfire when it was not being operated at full power, though this wasn't a high bar to cross. Raids on outlying worlds have allowed the Chaos Pact to capture Master-Com Droids to integrate into the 2C1s, giving them the capability to target capital ships from the ground.
