Alor of Clan Gred, Mando'ad'jetii
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: 1 Armored Platoon 'Wraith Division"
  • Affiliation: Mandalorians, Clan Gred, Refugees of the Sith Empire.
  • Classification: Armor, Landing
  • Description: A similarly mixed bag of individuals to their infantry counterpart, the Wraith
COMBAT INFORMATION:
  • Unit Size: Medium (8 T-1s, 6 A-1s, and 9 WD-1s)
  • Unit Availability: Unique
  • Unit Experience: Veteran
  • Equipment:
  • Combat Function: Wraith Division is know for providing direct and indirect support fire, and running breakthrough missions in tandem with the Netherhound. The armor units used by the platoon can be air dropped, making them ideal for working within the Gred Fleet's limits. The platoon's nickname came from their use of unconventional communications tactic, as a counter to Sith jammers, and their low lying vehicles fighting like a larger armored unit while in hiding, leading to Wraith Division.
Strengths:
  • Low lying vehicles can hide easily.
  • Airborne.
  • Strong fighters.
  • Nontraditional communications tactics.
Weaknesses:
  • Small number of tanks.
  • Some infighting isn't uncommon.
  • Use on nontraditional communications can be trouble when working with groups outside the Netherhounds.
  • The difference in vehicle speeds can make formation driving difficult.
  • Reaper droids are relatively weak.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Created alongside the Netherhounds, the 1st Armored Platoon, nicknamed the Wraith Division, first saw action at Wayland where they fought with the MIL battalion, and like them would suffer heavy loses. In the weeks after the battle, the Wraiths would try their best to build back up and train. While they have been training, the platoon is much more rarely used, do to being a more direct combat unit, with little ability to run security. The unit would also run Gred Fleet's WD-1 Reaper droid, due to their somewhat similar role.

  • No heavy vehicles.
I'm a bit confused by this weakness. The T-1 Slugger Tank is, well, a tank. Per its vehicle submission, it has strong armour. While the Reaper droid seems quite vulnerable to most weapons other than blasters, the A-1 Tank Destroyer is tough and well-armed per the submission. Please clarify.

I guess you could just rephrase this weakness and, for example, reference one of the Reaper's vulnerabilities that you outline in the tech sub. Or mention that the Tank Destroyer is slow. While the Slugger Tank is fast, the people driving it would probably not be able to totally exploit its speed when they move in formation, lest they outrun the A-1s.
