She took a moment to look at Feng as she said it an brought her hand up to her chest. Holding the back of it over her heart. "Oh my Jedi Feng. You want me to meet your father figure, already." She said it with a smile though as Feng was explaining. "Well I woulnd't mind meeting him, I don't know if he'll warm up to me but at least I can convince him to share any embarrassing stories or pictures of you." She said it and at the rate Feng was proposing things she expected more but she was reaady for it and as a surprise. "But I will introduce you next time we are on Naboo to my sister. Vespera might prefer staying home and being domestic but she has every bit the same schooling as me and you'll end up meeting Zahira... aas a bodyguard she is always around and as one who often makes sure I curb some of my initial impulses she pops up at the strangest of times."

Feng blushed in embarrassment as Ayumi commented on meeting her father figure.

"I understand if you think it's too soon." Feng murmured flickering her eyes downward.

Ugh why am I so bad at this!

Feng shook the thought as soon as it came. She was determined not to let the anxiety win. So far Ayumi had been-aside from an excessive interest in causing her to blush- gracious, charming, flirtatious, funny, friendly and all round interested.

If only Feng knew why?

She had done nothing to engage Ayumi's interest other than a supposed brief comment of tackling her to the floor. Maybe Ayumi just liked to flirt with every girl she met, she'd already suggested she was quite experienced or at the very least more experienced then Feng was. Maybe she just wanted a flirtatious fling with a Jedi? Feng's heart sunk at the thought. Was that all this was?

Stop it! She's kind, generous and a good person, stop assuming the worst. Is it so hard to believe someone is just interested in me?!

The response was instant and heart crunching.

Yes

Feng tried to ignore it, by putting on a strained though she hoped dazzling smile. Just then the rest of what Ayumi was saying caught up with her.

"Oh… you want me to meet your family?" Feng's smile flickered and she relaxed into a grateful smile, she tucked an already tucked hair behind an ear in a self conscious gesture.

She watched her face, her eyes and Feng was overthinking things... you could almost see a dozen thoughts going over her face and mind before she spoke. "Well yes, you wanted to do a security check and my personal body double of a biot droid as well as my sister qualify." She said it but was looking at the padawan as she moved forward looking down at her. "Just breathe Feng, relax and be in the moment. You can be in me later but for now be in the moment here. Don't overthink what is happening, enjoy it. Cause face it padawan, you just hit the jackpot." THe senator said it with one hand going up to tap the underside of the girls chin. "Just think of it like meditation under distraction. Still you mind, breathe and allow your actions to be guided by the force."

Feng took Ayumi's advice and breathed and relaxed. She was right, she was so caught up in overthinking everything she was forgetting to enjoy the moment, just be present. That was the point of meditation really, to focus on your breathing, bring your thoughts gently back to the present. If she didn't worry about all the rest what would Feng like to do right now? What would she like to learn about Ayumi?

Feng smiled and opened her eyes. What she really wanted to do was get to know the wonderful, amazing, powerful, sensual woman in front of her. The woman who had expressed interest in her.

"So you like to dance? What else do you like to do?" Feng asked with a cheerful smile, her shoulders relaxed as she just tried to enjoy good conversation with interests.

Wait she said something about… oh!

Feng blushed and giggled a twinkle in her eye. Well that was an avenue of conversation she was very much interested in pursuing further at a later date.

"I like to travel, practice my oral skills delivering speeches, visiting new businesses throughout the districts, When I am on Naboo well Theed is beautiful but my families house is secluded in the Lake Country to avoid many of the others." She said it and dancing was fun, meeting others was nice. "There is also all the charity and needed things I attend to. Denon has been producing much of its own and donating to areas where Verities panel has deemed needing help. What minimal budget gets allocated to it, I'll match and have our contractors go to help out with the rest." She said it while she stood there looking at Feng who seemed to figure it out and she was amused more with herself. 'Wonderful' she thought while staying. "I also enjoy cute women."

"It must be nice. To be able to travel, help people through peaceful charitable endeavours. Sometimes I wonder if a Jedi's life is one of constant conflict." Feng smiled sadly. "Don't get me wrong, I love it! Every second of it, even the parts I'd rather not experience, to be able to help people in there worst crisis, it's incredibly fulfilling. Sometimes though I wish I could see the galaxy at peace, visit some museums, or art galleries, attend a concert or performance. Maybe do some good while doing so by attending a charity event to do so."

Feng blushed a little slightly, while feeling a small thrill at being called cute by an interesting and interested beautiful woman.

"I noticed." Feng quipped back with a small giggle. "but then I bet beautiful women such yourself could have a whole string of women on your arm with a snap of your fingers?"

Feng had intended to start off as a light quip she wasn't sure when it had turned into a question, but she just wanted to know where she stood in the wide array of Ayumi's affections and companions.

"It is possible jedi Feng, a string of women admiring me is while enticing and enjoyable also something easily done. It is an appetizer to warm up. Five or six times but the main course is something you work towards to have." She said it but had a smile. "And there is something to be said about traveling around and doing good deeds. You would be surprised what you can do when you just go to places. Though when I was with the jedi I wasn't really. I wa trained by a Bendu on Tattooine and received some refinement in battle meditation from jedi in the order but I never wielded a saber and the few battles I was in had me in a secured location meditating to aid the Republic."

Feng blushed, as she felt a little flutter in her chest at being described as the main course. It was… enticing to be desired. Feng had always more or less faded into the background wherever she went, even to some extent during battle, which while useful, meant she had struggled to be seen or heard for any other reason. It was nice to not only be noticed, but sought after. She wasn't just a part of the scenery with Ayumi, who if Feng were to face it head on would be forced to acknowledge Ayumi's scenery and options were pretty appealing.

"Just so long as I'm not just a passing snack enjoyed and forgotten." Feng murmured shyly. "Because I intend to take my time with you for as long as you'll have me."

Feng blushed and ducked her head self consciously at her boldness.

"Being on the front lines is… a little different." Feng admitted "Most of the time you're not sure if you're winning or losing, the chaos of battle the fog of war, all you can do is hold your line, push forward when you're told to, entrust that your superiors know what they're doing to win the battle. That they aren't willing to sacrifice your lives for a minor tactical advantage"

Feng paused.

"… but there is a purity to it, when your life is on the line, the men and women beside you become your brothers and sisters. All or nothing, everything on the line, you'd die for them and they for you."

Feng sighed.

"It is an alluring phenomena easy to see how some become addicted to it, and forget all the horror that comes with."

Ayumi let Feng's words fade into the background noise of the race, the distant cheers, the thrum of engines. She stepped in close, her bare feet silent on the garden stone thanks to the repulsor anklets, and brought her hand up. Her index finger pressed beneath Feng's chin, not a tap but a firm, slow lift that tilted the Jedi's face upward until their eyes locked. Ayumi's thumb traced once along the jawline, feeling the warmth of the blush there, and with her other hand she curled her fingers into a loose fist. The Force answered immediately, wrapping around them both like an invisible current. She lifted them, not abruptly but with a smooth, rising buoyancy that left the ground behind.

They rotated as they ascended, a lazy spiral that turned the garden and the track and the distant ocean into a blur of gold and white and blue. Ayumi kept her focus entirely on Feng on the widening eyes, the parted lips, the rapid pulse she could feel through the Force. The rotation slowed as they reached the apex of their ascent, hanging there in the warm air as if suspended in amber. Ayumi's hand slid from Feng's chin to cradle the back of her neck, fingers threading into the hair at her nape. Her other hand pressed flat against Feng's cheek, thumb stroking the burning skin there. She didn't ask permission this time. The Force had already given its answer, humming between them like a plucked string.

Ayumi closed the distance and pressed her lips to Feng's with deliberate, unhurried pressure not tentative, not questioning, but claiming in the gentlest way possible. The kiss deepened for a fraction of a second, just enough to taste, just enough to promise, and then she drew back barely an inch. Her forehead remained against Feng's, their breath mingling, the rotation slowing to a near stop. "That," she murmured, "was worth the wait." She said it with a smile though remaining on her face as the talk about battle and the frontline was there. A danger but it was also the place to best help the people if you were able to use it.

Feng's breath caught in her throat. This was it, what should she do? What did she do with her hands? Ayumi's hands were so soft, so warm, she felt them trace along her face, her jaw, her cheeks, every touch a tingling sensation of contact of connection. It was like Ayumi was using the Force to dance. To guide both of them, in a synchornised movement, but not forced or choreographed, it felt natural, it felt right. Feng couldn't calm her mind to it, but she could be guided by it, just let go, be in the moment, let the moment, the experience, the present be everything. It was like being in battle without the aggression perhaps, but still so full of passion.

Feng let herself flow with the moment, and felt somehow both excited and at peace. She didn't know how that was possible, only that it was because of Ayumi. No one else made her feel this way. Feng had been worried she was just being caught up in someone showing interest in her, but she knew in that moment that wasn't the case. Ayumi was special, she had known that logically, had even felt it in her heart for awhile now, but it was the first time she felt herself acknowledge that the way she made her feel was special.

That was just the build up. Feng tried not to overthink it as the kiss was pressed on her lips. It was soft yet commanding, gentle yet promising more, sensual yet full. Full of life, full of promise, full of everything that was to come. The only problem was it ended far too soon. Feng made a soft mewl of protest at it's end, then bit her lip. She smiled this time not with shyness but with a glint of wickedness, a glint in her eye that she had heard the promise of more, and was making an equal promise to accept in full.

"Oh." Feng made a soft sound and breathed a contented sigh.

All that from just a kiss.

She wanted to say something clever, witty, quippy, all she could think of was.

"Why couldn't I have met you sooner?"

She gave a nod while standing there when she touched the ground again with the sounds returning all around them. "Because the force works in mysterious ways." Her voice was there for a moment when she was happy to see it. "It is well worth it. Been waiting to do that since you showed up." Her finger came up to tap the jedi's nose before she stepped back a moment but stretched out her arms. "But that is one thing you can claim now. You have now not never been kissed and you get the chance to flirt better. Once we see how red that face can get just imagine the possibilities." She chuckled a little to herself and stayed there while watching the races and the hardlight match was showing the stakes couldn't be higher when they were rounding a corner.

Feng smiled, almost wiggled with suppressed glee.

I have been kissed!

She felt braver, older somehow, perhaps just a little bit wiser. She'd finally had an experience most people had had by her age, an experience with the promise of more. Feng resisted the urge to do so for just a moment longer before she let out a;

"Wooop! That's right! Feng Huang has been kissed people! And she doesn't care who knows it!" Feng laughed and did a little force jump backflip and a twirl in the air.

Feng settled with a giggle.

"Thank you" She expressed with a beaming grin.

Then she settled in to watch some races with her date. Feng would remember this date and this day for years to come she was sure, a day when everything had gone right, a day of peace and of the fullness of life, all that it could bring. It was a good day.

She watched a jedi to a wiggle, a squiggle and then a backflip in excitement over a kiss and that.... did amazing things for her ego... she could only surmize that her kissing skills had developed to such a point she was like concentrated zeltron pheromones when she kissed someone... perfect. Her thoughts were there as she was checking on a few things and Feng was enjoying it as Ayumi found a palace for them to be able to sit and she enjoy the race. THe turns were coming up and she saw one get pure sabacc as they won and pulled ahead. The two lowest out of credits in the race. Their speeders being forced off of the ramp as it was down to Jazmyn and one other racer. Cato's sister being the racer. "Oh perfect, Cato's sister pulled ahead. She is skilled. We escaped a hutt sail barge together when the Republic fell. They raided Denon for Darkwire."

Feng reached out and took Ayumi's hand in her own and squeezed gently as she watched the race with a renewed sense of vigor and enjoyment. If she had needed any confirmation, any proof that Ayumi was interested in her, she had just delivered it in full. It was like an anxious fuzzy ball had lifted from her chest, something she usually only accomplished with deep meditation. Feng leaned her head on Ayumi's shoulder.

"It must have been hard to flee your home, but I'm glad you and she have found a place here, where you can both apply your skills to the betterment of everyone."

Feng lifted her head to let out a cheer for the racer.

"Come on! You can do it! Leave em in the dust!" Feng called out raucously.

Once she put aside her anxiety, she was a naturally bubbly person full of zest and life. It was time to show Ayumi that side of her.

She gave a grin to that. "Leaving Coruscant was not as difficult, it was only when the attack came that I largely missed it and that was why we had a small ship able to infiltrate and rescue a handful of people. Doubt they could do it now with none of the chaos but my parents passed. Leaving me and Vespera to control all thaat we had and... it was more then I had originally thought. Though it did allow us to rebuild our house on Naboo even if some might not like it completely, we have the benefit of everythign we have done and that no one looks too closely since we use one side of the family name." She said it enjoying the race while bringing up another screen and holding the womans hand. "Oh yes now this is sabaac racing."
