---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STRENGTHS:

Creative- Constantly thinking of new Ideas has never been a bad thing, creating them however can sometimes impede progress, fortunately for Kevros creation is one of his specialties. Being creative also leads him to be extremely focused, whether in combat or devising a plan, he is sure to execute in unusual working fashion.

~True creativity, Steve Jobs once said, is little more than connecting the dots. It’s seeing patterns before they become obvious to everyone else.~

Versatile- Able to Adapt or be adapted to many different functions or activities. With a chance at danger around every corner of the galaxy, not everything is going to go your way. Versatility allows Kevros to become a viable threat even when odds and circumstances aren’t in his favor. With stick of saber, Kevros adapts in many adverse conditions, sometimes even keeping him alive.

WEAKNESSES:

Inflexible- Unwilling to change or compromise. Once Kevros sets a course for action he rarely ever is talked out of it. His way or the highway kind of guy. When it comes to planning, working with others, and even being told how to do something a certain way, can be problematic. While he’ll execute orders for the right people, he generally tweaks the scenarios to his liking, often causing undesired results, or sometimes failure.

Indifferent- Having no particular interest or sympathy; unconcerned. While it shouldn’t come as a surprise to many who run into him, Kevros tends to not care for anything. If the situation doesn’t involve anything of upmost importance to him, he doesn’t care. This causes simple confrontation for Kevros almost always. With little care for his comrades, objects, and even sometimes power. While this may make Kevros seem less likely to be an acceptable subject to any dark side, Kevros still consistently wants to become Dark Lord of the Sith.

Superiority Complex (Humans)- An inflated estimate of one's own merit, usually manifested in arrogance. As a Zelosian or rather near-human as they are sometimes known Kevros is constantly compared to humans. Kevros since a young age he’s dealt with a multitude of cruel and unfair experiences in the past, simply based on the fact that he was Human rather than Zelosian. Not only that, Kevros constantly finds Humans to be a disgusting breed of barbaric idiots. Simply being considered as one causes him to cringe, sometimes even spontaneously killing the narrow-minded assumer/accuser.

APPEARANCE:

fcdf80a6-e751-484f-9846-323a40b66edd.jpg

Kevros is a fit individual, while his physique is tone, and slightly slender compared to other bulky trainers. His body mass allows for quick and precise movement. His casual clothing allows him to take a break from his normal combat and mainly everyday attire. His hair resembled a jet-black, long and crazy, anime character, His eyes like almost all Zelosians were emerald green, Bares a tribal tattoo on his left bicep of the Kovani Crest, Kevros has little care to conceal it. If anyone from the Tyrus sector came into contact with him, he'd deal with them accordingly. Of course Zelos II was put far behind him in the course of a few years. Although precautions still had to be taken if word got out of who he really was. Kevros also enjoyed lightly fitted gloves to match his scarf like garments. With his sleeveless tight knitted tank, Kevros was more agile than usual. This was good for the casual pickpocket, or even the quick snatch and go from vendors about Coruscant. Weilding his fathers old Massassi Blade at his hip, Kevros felt like little else needed to be with him in his casual attire.

Kevros Kovani isn't just some name, it's given and not by choice. The Kovani name used to stand for something and the way Kevros left Zelos II made even easier to conceal who he was. Not many saw Kevros in his full everyday garments on Zelos II before his departure. His Kovani attire was frightening, mysterious and most of all unique. With the white-gold Kovani mask and Kovani chest guard, Kevros was well protected above the hip. While the armor was light it held invaluable defenses that made Kevros much more ample to melee combat. Along with such gear came Kevros's black cloak, attached with a hood. Light grey inscriptions were woven into the cloaks suede material. Although the cloak was mostly black, a tint of red fabric was eventually added by Kevros himself. The red garments were meant for his shoulder guards to rest easier onto his physical structure. Reaching half way down his arm long strings of loose red cloth eventually were used to constrict his arm guards. Strapped onto his forearms and stretching to his knuckles, his arm-guards add extra protecting from incoming fire, or potential sharp objects. The only thing left is his alloy belt that holds blade, and gadget. Along with his belt his black cloth pants and boots.

BIOGRAPHY:
The Cryptic Message.

Concepts were always at the forefront of Kevros’s mind, often creating many incredible half made projects lying about in his sheltered lab. As a mere child Kevros consistently continued to look for challenges, whether in the advancement of Science, Technology, Weaponry, Banking, and of course his favorite, art. Being a young Zelosian he tired of the everyday horticulture of his planet Zelos II. At the spirited age of 5 he finally found a new obsession, ciphers. Zelos II while rich with ore was also rich with history, it had been a long time since the galactic empire had influence over it. Things were left behind, messages rather, encrypted, waiting to be discovered. Kevros knew little about the past of his planet, he only concerned himself with things that kept his mind satisfied. Studying for several long months, Kevros began to learn coding, decrypting, and if he wanted to how to encrypt his own message. The only thing left to do was to find, or rather search for potential artifices. As a member of the Kovani family he had other responsibilities, regardless of his hate for them. Being a Kovani meant he had to make his rounds, collecting payment from his father’s late inheritance was more of a nuisance than a blessing.

The Kovani family while completely wiped out, besides Kevros the sole proprietor, was a notorious criminal organization. With parental guidance completely out of the question, that role fell to his caring and forthright butler, Advani Krypt. Advani would raise him, feed him, and eventually teach him the ways of the Kovani code.
Advani had been burdened with this task after the fall of Kevros’s father, Illiam Kovani. Advani knew that Kevros was an exceptional child even at the ripe age of three Kevros was walking, talking, observing, the intelligence was surprising. Kevros was now five, and fully more attuned to his duties as a Kovani. Without ever truly knowing his mother or father, Kevros had little care for the future of the Kovani Organization his father left him to rebuild. Had his father actually lived, Kevros might have turned out differently, fortunately for the galaxy he didn’t. The Kovani name would eventually be a distant memory, at least to the planet Zelos II.

Making rounds for his money at the age of five was a disturbing sight for some. Every day it was the same thing, beaten and tossed into the streets. Kevros figured it was the basic human nature that made them so violent, greedy, smelly, and arrogant, these were the few words that Kevros used for the vicious humans. They lived in the Kovani territory, like everyone else they were forced to pay. Biths, Zelosians, Zabraks, and sometimes the occasional Chiss. They all paid except one particular species, Humans. A five year old Zelosian asking for money isn’t the greatest threat, until it grows. Every day, at the same time, when it came time to ask the five families for money, no payment, only hate, and beatings. Some of the humans even considered him a beggar, even with the Kovani crest about his grey robes. Kevros disliked that notion from the start. He cared little for payback, being indifferent meant getting over the easy things. All Kevros was focused on was his next venture.
Kevros had turned his old medical wing of his Kovani Mansion into a laboratory. Littered with Gadgets, Vials, Bacta Tanks and aged Weaponry, you name it he had some version of it. The lab was always cluttered, something Advani didn’t like walking into. Regardless Kevros made it his escape from the outside world. With little time for his adventures out into the hills and distant caves of Zelos II he woke early, ready to embark. His knowledge of the land was vast, and his geographical compass was unmatched. With a few gadgets and some other tools he was ready to go. The search began…

Hours of grueling walking, hill after hill, Kevros had finally spotted his destination. Known as the pools of Knar, this particular cave was known for its heavy influence of old war artifices left buried below. How Kevros came into such knowledge was beyond comprehension, although adequate enough to hopefully be accurate.
Entering the cave made him cautions, a sudden tingle of confusion hit him, not of the mind or disorientating vision, but of purpose. Almost turning away it finally happen, the link to his future pressed against his very being. He could feel something, something Kevros couldn’t explain. His body felt strained, but free. Then it called out to him, as if the Pools of Knar grabbed his ear and whispered.

“Significance is only….” The voice trailed off.

Kevros Kovani was officially intrigued at what lied beyond, the “what ifs” began to scramble in his young, intelligent mind. Most five year olds his age would be running tail, fortunately for Kevros, being beaten on a day to day basis made him considerably uncaring. If something bad was going to happen, what difference would it have made anyway?

Step by step Kevros went deeper into the cave, scratches along the grey stone walls. Animal markings were usually common in such caves, especially the Pools of Knar, according to the nature Anthology Kevros got his hands on weeks ago. The drops of distant water came into spectrum as Kevros came to a fork, left held a hue of green and purple, while right held a hue of red and yellow. Kevros had heard of ore deposits giving off light, only nothing as vibrant as he was witnessing. Unsure of which path to take he grabbed onto his tool belt and smashed a spike into the wall, marking it would allow him to get back, without confusion. Stepping towards the green and purple route he heard it again, the voice from earlier.

“The first step to…” The voice almost echoed.

Kevros stepped back, and looked towards the vibrant red lighting the voice had come from. At that moment he knew, something new, something fresh, something powerful was waiting to be discovered, Kevros grinned at the thought of a new concept, a concept Kevros would soon be entangled with. Placing his hands along the careening cave it dipped downward, Kevros slide down as gravel followed in his wake. Landing dirt kicked into the air, Kevros swiped it away as his eyes widened with shock. Crystals were spread across the ground, gleaming as they protruded from below. Kevros couldn’t move, he had never seen such elegant nature. In a way it was almost relatable to art, art that screamed for attention. Kevros processed all that he could, including the most peculiar thing in the entire, now open cavern. The cavern while littered with orange and red Rubat crystals. This wasn’t the only property the cavern had taken on, a large cylindrical stone sat perfectly in the middle of the cavern, light piercing in from above. Something shiny, and sleek sat on top of it.

Kevros wasn’t entirely sure what he found, or even if it was supposed to be found. All that mattered now was what he wanted to do. First order of business was to take samples from the crystals. Snapping off a few with mallet and container he placed them safely in his bag. Second was the ground, it wasn’t wet, but damp. This was odd considering the water sources were a few hundred yards back the way he came. With a small utilized shovel he dug some samples and placed them into small vials. Placing them once again into his bag. Lastly Kevros wanted whatever was on the stone-like pillar. Sealing everything and placing all his instruments back into his tool belt he threw his bag over his shoulder and walked toward, what he didn’t know, was his future.

The device on top was small in size, hex like symbols written across it. The perfect triangular shape took on a metal characteristic only down the fine edges. On all three sides were different symbols, scriptures Kevros had little knowledge of. Placing his hands onto the artifice, or what he deemed an artifice the whispering voice was no longer subtle. His fingers caressed it tightly as he felt a sudden rush of wind and a loud booming voice.

"GREATNESS!"

The voice screamed, as Kevros yanked the object backwards out of fright. A light blue projection of a concealed individual came to life where the artifact once sat. It paced back and forth until Kevros realized it was a hologram. Kevros looked down at the item in hand and stepped back. It all made sense now, it wanted to be found. Kevros began to listen, hologram or not, Kevros had not only found an artifact, but a message. Carefully listening, Kevros began to write down the things he couldn’t understand.
Kevros had found his very first quintessential purpose, a very tedious, cleverly hidden, cryptic message….

The Decryption.

Years went by, and with it Kevros grew smarter, stronger, and obsessed with cracking the ultimate code. It had gotten so bad that Kevros almost wished he never found the artifact in the Pools of Knar. Although he was frustrated it kept him satisfied for more. The message still made no sense, and without the right decryption Kevros would never truly know what the mysterious figure on the hologram really wanted, or said. The Kovani organization like him, had grown to a reputable criminal organization once more. Eighteen was a great age, even better when you’ve been trained, respected, and most of all persuasively powerful. Kovani was a name that was once again feared, people in the territories continued to pay, with few confrontations. Things were going steadfast for Kevros and his father’s legacy, only Kevros wanted little to do with it, if at all. Kevros left many of his lackeys in charge of a multitude of things. Smuggling, Gambling, Killing, Payment Negotiations, Selling illegal everything, ect. Kevros had little interest in such things. Although he had slightly grown fond of gambling, until he won almost every time based on expressions, and body language. Kevros had expanded his knowledge of the world and the people in it by a lot.

The other great thing about Kevros at such a older age was his affinity for the force, it was the only thing he could decrypt from the holograms message. Kevros had connected deeply with the force since that defining day. Research on Jedi and Sith intrigued him, not truly capable of many powers, he could feel it deep within him. Kevros just needed more time to find the real answers he was looking for. He found that his persuasions were very effective, something that apparently was capable through the force. This intrigued him even more than the message he’d been trying endlessly to cipher. With the world at his feet Kevros knew what had to be done.
More studying, that was the only answer, maybe he missed something, or decoded the encryption wrong from the start, something, and anything could have been possible. As for the artifact and what secrets it held, Kevros still couldn’t find a way to open it. Sealed shut, Kevros figured the message is what would make him capable of opening the artifact. Kevros knew he wanted to leave Zelos II behind and finding the right decryption method would likely make him leave, for good.

Codes, codes, codes, and more codes. Days fluttered by and still nothing, until Kevros lost his temper and tore pages out of his helpful book and tossed them across the lab.

“Lcd-111, isn’t compatible with the threading of this circuitry, but D-7 coding is! This is obscene, intolerable even! Damn.

Kevros yelled voraciously until he saw it, the symbols on the artifact, they weren’t symbols, but numbers upside down. Kevros couldn’t believe he missed it, all these years the answer lied right in front of him. The inscriptions were of an ancient descent, only advanced enough to use for the cipher.
Kevros needed different equipment, rushing out of the lab he returned almost minutes later. Power cords were flung throughout the lab as he changed power over to the new equipment and went to work. Kevros could feel it in his soul, he had found the key to it all.

Running the commands the program slowly began to alter itself, the hologram finally came back to life after 13 years of cruel irony. The mysterious man was in clad black robes, his voice a deep and scratchy melody.

“I am Jedi Master Xain, by now you must be thinking, what exactly is this object before me? That unfortunately I do not have the answer to. The force has lead me down a path I can no longer sustain, a path of power, and corruption. The only true villainy is wastefulness, the Jedi have lessened themselves to a belief I can no longer abide by, while this may seem confusing at first I promise you, you will be capable of great things through the power of the dark side, embrace it and you shall become what you’ve wanted this whole time. Unfortunately by the time anyone finds this I’ll be long dead. So for those who don’t already know the most important part of the creed, I shall recite.

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

I have made my choice, regardless of what my allies of the current think, I have found solace in my hatred, become free and unlock the secrets within!”

The hologram began to break up, a large blast could be heard before the transmission finally cut off. The computer sparked and burnt out as the message self-destructed, the computer catching to flame.
Kevros was more focused on the words of Xain, if Kevros was going to unlock the potential of the force, he’d have to seek out the Sith order to do that. If a Jedi Master was willing to betray the Jedi for their incoherent ways, then maybe the Sith weren’t as corrupt as the books told. Kevros had a new venture, a new life ahead of him. The path to becoming a full-fledged Sith would take time. There would be obstacles in his way, but first he needed a way off Zelos II. A ship would be required, he knew most the humans in his Kovani territory held many of them dear.

Having been trained under Advani, his piloting skills and combat skills were exceptionally present. His Kovani crest had changed from the dull grey robes of the past, and into a cynical mask. The idea had come from the Jedi Master Xain’s appearance. It caught on to Kevros, having a criminal empire would mean that exposure could become problematic at best. Concealing his lackeys with a plated durable mask kept his Kovani mark, frightening and most of all effective. The Kovani masks were each a grey sleek design and worn with pride. Kevros on the other hand felt that grey was too dull for a leader, with a golden white painting, his Kovani mask was one of a kind. Not only was it durable and made of steel, it was made of more protective alloys against blaster fire.
With the birth of the mask Kevros was taught to protect himself not only with his skills but his gear. Having made his particularly own style for his combat appearance, Kevros Kovani looked menacingly, insane.

From the dark robed hood to the ominous mask. His territory knew he was a force to be reckoned with. Kevros packed his things and outfitted himself with his combat ready apparel. It was time for an improvement, an improvement to his future. Ships weren’t the easiest things to come by, although as a Kovani many things become possible.

Kevros entered the large building, a docking bay for many ships that traveled in and out of the Tyrus Sector. He spotted the exact miniscule human he had always wanted to get back at for his childhood pain. The human’s name was Creed, Havin Creed. Kevros knew he wouldn’t give his ship up easily, not only that, Havin had a few hired mercenaries around quite a few corners. Being a criminal successor sometimes made more problems than they were worth. Kevros scanned the bay for anything he could use to his advantage. Talking to himself with little time left before the engineers went on break he bent behind a large cache of trade goods, he needed to devise a plan and fast. Soon the only ship in the Docking Bay would take off without him.

“Throw the containers into the hull, make sure you don’t forget the extra goods, I want my payment by next month after this run!”

Havin’s smooth voice boomed throughout the docking bay. Had he known Kevros was lying in wait for his loaders he may have chosen a different order. Kevros minimized his chances of confrontation by opening the one empty goods container and hopping in. His bag lugging behind as he squeezed it in with him.
The lid slid closed, a large amount of air pressurizing the container as he waited. Soon he would be placed on the ship and ready to take off. Zelos II would be left in the past, finally.

The Dark Seed.

Like any ship Kevros knew the floor panels were lightly bolted down with a particular paste. Using what he knew of science unbolted the floor and found himself below the hull. He’d been hidden for days waiting for the right moment to strike. He would arrive in a new system, a system he wanted nothing to do with. He needed to take care of the crew and set course for the one place he knew answers waited for him, Coruscant. The population was the vastest in the galaxy and the fuel left in the ships tank would just be adequate enough for him to make the trip.

Wielding his father’s old Massassi Blade, Kevros snapped into action. Busting out from beneath the hull’s floor he scoured the ship for its tenants. Havin was back on Zelos II, a slight grin formed underneath the Kovani mask. Turning the corner to the central area of the ship stood a Twi’lek, female, tall with a leather vest and tight pants. She turned to face Kevros, with little time to react, Kevros struck her with the blade. Piercing her abdomen, Kevros leaned in a sudden tingle came over him. He felt more real than he had ever felt before. The sensational thought of taking a life made him unusually intrigued, had this been the missing venture he truly needed? Or was it a fluke? Killing was different when his lackeys took care of all his problems on Zelos II. Taking care of a problem yourself never felt so rewarding in its most pure form, Murder.

Kevros retracted the blade from the blue-skinned Twi’lek and pushed her to the floor with his finger. Her body although lifeless began to form a pool of blue-hued blood. Kevros never understood the use for blood, being a Zelosian his chlorophyll sap like biology seemed almost more structurally superior. The again Kevros hated Humans, all due to his past. He always felt superior to that one species and for good reason. The years he had been able to outsmart, beat, and simply outclass humans made his complex even worse. Now wasn’t the time to be contemplating biology, footsteps could be heard from the head of the ship. By the sound of it all, Kevros figured three more crew members were on board. They must have heard him push the Twi’lek over.

“The odds are not in my favor….” Kevros said.

Looking for an advantage before being spotted, he already calculated what he had to do. Loose wires were dangling from one of the ships inner walls. Kevros has a small gadget capable of conducting electrical emissions, this would give him a chance at frying his incoming threats. The three crew members found Kevros waiting, several feet from the Twi’lek he had just killed. The three of them lifted their guns and stepped forward. Kevros shook his head, it was too easy, and the Twi’leks blood would cause a conductive reaction. If the crew was smarter, Kevros may have been in more trouble. Whipping out the gadget he fired, nothing happened. His gadget malfunctioned, at the worst time. The crew looked at him confused, almost blankly confused at what Kevros was trying to accomplish.

A light chuckle escaped the mouth of what seemed like the pilot, a human pilot. The thought of being embarrassed by a human made Kevros furious. He wouldn’t be accountable for the laughter of a human being. Zelosians had been mistaken for too long, Kevros couldn’t think of anything clearly, enraged he stepped forward, and his feet free of the Twi’leks blood. The whispers of the dark side boiled deep within him, his hate, impatience, and intent grasped him as a whole.

The force was attuned to him, for the first time ever his mind was free of constant creativity. It was filled with a crisp, clear objective, the force. His body almost moved without thinking, his right arm stretched out. Stiff and with little result, the crew continued to laugh. Little did they know, Kevros had succeeded, his connection to the force made it all possible for what was soon going to happen. His plan would still be executed, only this time Kevros released his clenched fist, his fingers stretching towards the crew before him. His mind ran rampant, and then with little concentration he screamed.

“Die! You filthy cretin!”

Kevros slammed his foot onto the ground and with a visceral grin, hidden beneath the famous Kovani mask, Kevros felt the burn. A jolt of lightning sprung from his tense finger tips, a stream of vibrant purple slithered across the air. Zapping the three crew members, the red lightning wrapped around them like a python readying its meal.
Kevros exerted the display again, the static luminosity of his red lightning became his savior. The force kept him alive, or had Kevros always been able to channel such emotion in the dark side? Kevros didn’t know everything he should have about the practice of the force, something he yearned for. Charred and turned to piles of ash Kevros dealt with what he needed to. Ready to set course, Kevros snapped back into a Calm, Indifferent, Versatile, Inflexible, and creative Kevros. Retrained from the force for now. The dark seed had been planted, a Zelosian by the name of Kevros Kovani.

The Birth of a New Darth.

Several Years later Kevros Kovani still scours the galaxy for a master in the dark side of the force. Answers left unanswered, to what Kevros thinks is a Sith Holocron he’s had in his possession since the age of five. Growing stronger in the arts of the dark side, only guidance would make him stronger, faster, wiser, and most of all powerful.
